Watch IPL. Batsmen with no technique slogging across the line of flat pitches with no technique. And crowd roaring and treating it like a b grade masala flick. Cricket these days is PATHETIC. Glad i rarely watch, other than border gavaskar, ashes, or world cups

monsoons cloudy weather and nice green grass on the outfield ...great cricket not commercial and so exciting and simple and a challenge for the batsmen as most were good bowling tracks unlike now boring and biased towards the batsmen

The real game of cricket has died long ago. If you want a glismpse of what real cricket looks like, then you can watch Donald and Atherton's duel in a test match, Donald vs the Waugh brothers, Akhtar bowling at top speed against India in 1999, etc.

Naaah. He wasn't quick. The speed guns throughout his career proved it.
His ability to hit the seam was what troubled batsman.
