Hey Kit, very interesting setup!! Especially since I totally got skunked today in Abu Dhabi. I’d love it if you could do some videos of how you fish from the shore with jigs and soft bait. I must’ve changed jigs and lures 40times today and not a single bite. Really frustrating!!

    • @TheFishingKit

not sure what the size of the hooks are, as ours come rigged already, when I need to change the hooks, I change them to jf 42 or jf 41size 10/11/12 for assist hooks. for trebles, take the jigs to your tackle shop and compare so its accurate. I thought you were asking about the fly hook not the jigs, your questions are kind of vague at times, so please be very specific coz I dont want to confuse you.

@Andrew Sokol what size lures are you using? We are talking about 10g - 20g jigs here, thin leaders and thin lines - it will affect it. What I'm discussing here might not be something available to you guys as of yet. I know shore slow jigging and slow jigging in general isn't too wide spread in the US, it's a different system. PE lines are very different compared to US braid thicknesses. End of the day, if you believe it works for you, then go ahead and keep on using it. :) My experience on these types of clips though, is that they are great for casting lures but not for slow jigs.
