  • Welcome to Week 2, Day 1 of the BeACTive exercise series for people with breast cancer. Today’s workout is another full body functional workout. If you joined us for the first workout, you’ll be familiar with these movement patterns that incorporate multi-joint movements. Functional exercise is a great way to help tackle the body composition changes that happen after breast cancer often felt by weight gain, especially in the abdominal region. These types of movements help build muscle, burn calories, and improve your metabolic health-all important to how we feel.
    Equipment needed:
    * Action: Chair + small weights
    * Challenge: Small to medium weights
    * Train: Small to medium weights
