Over 100 hours in BOTW because you played through more than once? I'll see that and raise you: I have over 200 hours and still haven't moved on from my first playthrough. Maybe 2025 will be the year, lmao.
That sounds like me. I’m always so slow in games. When I compared my progress on my first farm in stardew to my friend in highschool I was like How in the Heck!? She was so far advanced and progressed. And we had the same amount of years done but her progress so much more than mine 😂 Idk I guess I just spend more time just vibing in the game rather than reaching the major milestones. At the same time I also miss out on some content because I take so long to unlock it that I have no idea there is more to come.
Dang, these comments make me feel seen. I'm at 240 hours and 3 years to beat BotW, and 290 hours for TotK and I just beat it. I'm already grieving it being over 🥲
I get burn out from games so easily, so Cozy Grove was a lovely surprise gem for this year. I enjoy playing a few hours per day working away at tasks, with each day being unique. I also really enjoy the seasonal events! For such a simple game, it just keeps on giving; especially with the newest DLC!
Consider whether a Switch or a Steam deck would be the better choice for you. I have a Steam deck and it's really great, though not a good choice for everyone. Much pricier, lower battery life, but it performs better and has a bigger screen. The thing I absolutely love is that I can mod Stardew Valley on it, instead of being stuck with vanilla - it gives the game so much more life.
I have over 300 hours in BOTW, TOTK, DDV and Animal crossing. And I have 150hrs with Wlyde Flowers, Fae Farm and Ooblets. I have just started Moonstone Island but I see it going over 150hrs.
Ironically persona 5 is also my top played this year too - I finished it in July after about 7 months, probably the only game I sobbed at when it ended because I had played it pretty much non stop for months during a pretty hard university year - now I wanna play the rest of their library but I expect I may have to utilise my steam deck for that
Awesome list!! My top 3 are Wylde Flowers, Subnautica (not cozy but sooooo good!!), and Grow: Song of Evertree (great for when I have zero brain power left and need to just chill!)
Nice list. Many of my top played games are similar to yours, with one notable difference: I just hit 1,000 hours in Powerwash Simulator. And I still play it almost daily. I think it was my second most played game last year. It will likely be my most played game this year. Paired with an audiobook, it's just. so. good!
My top three are Wylde Flowers, Balatro and Fall Guys :) I used to find Fall Guys very stress inducing, because I was bad at it. But once I got better at it, it became my favourite cosy game. I currently have 1000+ hours in it, and it goes up weekly haha
I'm so excited for the last update for Wyld Flowers! I stopped playing near the beginning of year 2 because I was losing interest, but now I want to get back to it and see what's been added.
I have 95plus hours in animal crossing 😭 And I have the most pathetic island. I went to check my hours on wylde flowers only to see my ACNH hours. And I’m so upset with myself 😂 I only have 15 for wylde flowers and I thought it would be more, I’m definitely going to get back into the game now that I see how much there is left haven’t seen
Most of my top games of this last year I bought and played because of you and your channel… I can’t wait until the Stardew update… and because of this video, I have remembered some fun games I need to revisit…
I love you Eeowna for saying you love the pokemon games for shiny hunting. My point exactly! Ppl who complain about the games not being good havent ventured into shiny hunting at all. The sole reason I will keep buying Pokemon games is coz of shiny hunting not coz of new story or mons much less due to the thrill of pokemon battles. I really dont care about battles. at all.
I just upgraded my switch lite to the Oled switch & I cannot believe I waited so long to get the oled. So so so happy with my purchase. Excited to continue playing switch games on the beautiful and crisp screen. Also cannot believe switch is already almost 8 years old!
If you'd like an exceptionally unique farming sim on Switch, I'd suggest Before the Green Moon. It's short, but it's a game that I think will stick with you long after you've finished it.
I used to play Mario Kart on the Wii all the time. Every time I start playing Mario kart on the switch I still expect it to say: Mario Kart Wiiiiii. I kind of want to have something like that for the switch as well haha
My top 3 are 1. Animal Crossing new horizons , 2. Stardew Valley 3. Grow song of the evertree (which hardly anyone seems to play or talk about that I’ve noticed). Maybe because it was so buggy.
I played sword and shield like 14 times lol, it’s just fun to go through the region with different teams. I’ve beaten scarlet violet like 6 times, can’t do any more (it’s so slowwwwwww it’s exasperating). I do a lot of shiny breeding tho (hate hunting), it’s mind numbing so I do it while I do something else lol. Additionally only played part one of the dlc, I’m just too lazy to play the rest lol.
8 years already?! Whaaaa... I wanted to ask, do you have a recommendation or list on 2D games? I cant really play "3D" games where you can move the camera all around..make me sick :( With 2D i mean the style with animal crossing for example. I would much appreciate, thank you!
Haha the irony is that while you are sharing your love for Splatoon 2, you were showing the final SplatFest footage from Splatoon 3. 😂😊 Honestly, I was in love for 2 over 3, but I gave it a chance and it changed my mind.
I have no idea how can you say Pokemon cant make a good story when the one on scarlet/violet is the best story they have made in a long while but you are putting shiny hunting above that, couldnt be me
My favorite is Animal Crossings New Horizon for the same reason as you. It was a way to connect with my grandchildren when I couldn’t see them in person during the pandemic. My daughter purchased the switch for me just for this reason. This game is close to my heart. I cannot wait to see what is in store for us she when the next Animal Crossing game comes out. Thank you for a great video. 🩷

me in totk ,132 hours in and still in herbera after roaming for 50 + hours on horseback through the map
Got you beat, well over 400hrs & haven’t finished BOTW.

I'm late to the game but this channel totally convinced me to buy a switch. Absolutely consumed with BOTW
It's the game that keeps giving
Awww enjoy!!
I got a switch in August and I agree! I’m assessed! Also love animal crossing, and fae farm

If you like shiny hunting, you could like Ooblets where you can find "gleamies". It's one of my fave games and good story, too.
literally picked this up for super cheap the other week and so easy to rack up hours 😅 I loooooove my lumpstump gleamy it's so funny
No Man's Sky had another update today, an expedition for Halloween called 'The Cursed' (out on switch too) running for two weeks.
it is WILD how much free content they've given us since launch!
I'm currently at 95 hours in Wylde Flowers, and haven't even started the magical breeding, yet! But, this is also still on my 1st and only save.

Yes it’s the perfect audiobook companion!
@@BookishlyFab I know, right? I've powerwashed my way through the endings of three separate books in the past week alone. I love that game.
My top three are Wylde Flowers, Balatro and Fall Guys :)
I used to find Fall Guys very stress inducing, because I was bad at it. But once I got better at it, it became my favourite cosy game. I currently have 1000+ hours in it, and it goes up weekly haha
I have no issue at all with DDLV on the Switch. I love it. Its the game I pkay the most, besides Powerwash Simulator

I have played through BOTW every year since launch. Even finished master mode and a 100% completion. It is my favorite game of all time.
Most of my top games of this last year I bought and played because of you and your channel… I can’t wait until the Stardew update… and because of this video, I have remembered some fun games I need to revisit…
I loved shiny hunting way more in scarlet than arceus!!! maybe because I find the overworld more fun to explore
I love you Eeowna for saying you love the pokemon games for shiny hunting. My point exactly! Ppl who complain about the games not being good havent ventured into shiny hunting at all. I never had play my switch on my big TV. i love to have that last in my bed. 1 h before i sleep😅
I used to play Mario Kart on the Wii all the time. Every time I start playing Mario kart on the switch I still expect it to say: Mario Kart Wiiiiii. I kind of want to have something like that for the switch as well haha
Other than Persona, your top 10 is my top ten! 😆 Nintendo have absolute smashed it this gen!
They better either come out with another wylde flowers game or expand more on it.... I LOVE THAT GAME!!!
My top 3 are 1. Animal Crossing new horizons , 2. Stardew Valley 3. Grow song of the evertree (which hardly anyone seems to play or talk about that I’ve noticed). Maybe because it was so buggy.
The amount of time I have in Stardew Vally across XBox, Switch, and Steam is a wee bit ridiculous.
Wylde flowers, Cozy Grove, and animal crossing are my top 3.
i love all your videosss ☆ i come to you first when i need a new game to play. Also, your dark eyes are so pretty!
just felt a need to say that
I just finally restarted wylde flowers after finishing the last of the updated story.

Thank you for sharing your cozy thing videos I've actually bought quite a few because of you. I just appreciate everything you do so thank you❤

I've been wanting to buy splatoon but haven't bit the bullet can I play multi player with my kiddos?😂❤
OK but how many hours do you have in Powerwash Sim?
This gal? Over 260 hours baby!
What a wonderful treat after a long day ❤ eeowna vids are the best
I find that the longer I play I game, the more I grow to dislike it. My most played Switch game is Splatoon 3 and my gosh I hate that game.
I couldn’t get into it 😭
5000 games perhaps however 4500 of them are shovel-ware.
ACNH siempre será mi favorito of all time!! ❤️🍎🌳
Can't beat persona 5... But I'm trying with persona 4. 😂
I stil have no idea what I'm doing in NMS
You and me both…you and me both…
Same 😂😂
Me either but it’s so fun
Have you played Legend of hogwarts? It's on the Switch.
Right on!! ❤
oh wylde flowers is on my wishlist that game needs a sale .my top 3 totk, hogwarts ,harvestella .
Wylde flowers is on sale now till 1st November
@@fluffyfelz guess what is downloading right now ,thanks for letting me know
@@tralijntje1540 you’re welcome!

You l👀k fantastic. Those are your colors.
Farm simulator life queen~~~~

Yeah I couldn’t find any splatoon 2 footage as I wasn’t a creator when I was obsessed with it 😭
@@Eeowna Haha I volunteer to come join you in Splatoon 2 if you ever need any additional players. 😉

The story was better for sure - still isn’t the reason I play Pokemon so long. This isn’t a best games list this is a most played and why list 😊
❤❤❤❤
