although it looks good, your cabin is going to be hotter inside in the summer now and you will be able to see it even more clearly from the road in the winter against the white snow. it was more camouflaged before painting. this is why you should not make decisions from what you see on pinterest.

The worst thing you could do is paint exterior wood because paint traps water between the wood and paint which rottes the wood alot faster. Stain does not trap water so i suggest to not paint. Thank you

You have a lot of mosquitoes partially because you have so much brush around your buildings. Your aversion to cutting down even the smaller trees is part of the problem. Sorry about that!
