- Look, I know you were all expecting to see me in the Topwater Invitational this week, but I didn’t get invited so you’ll have to settle for this… 😂
This is Part 2 so if you haven’t already seen last week’s episode go back and watch that first as this was filmed on the same day after we brained the barramundi on that snag. We continue to make our way up a completely new, pristine, North Queensland estuary system, lure fishing the edges for mangrove jack, barra and cod as giant storm rolls in and send the fish crazy! Easily my best day up the creek this year!!! Oh and yeah its 4k so turn the the settings up!!

Mick, another great video mate, off topic a bit but I think you are the bloke to give me a true ,honest answer. Question; How much better does your new outlaw preform against your old stacer, namely ; Ride when having to do coastal runs and how dry is it for the driver at tiller when you have those winds blowing back at an angle to the boats travel. I have at present an older 4.3m stacer and it is a very wet , rough boat in these conditions. Cheers.
Thanks mate! The difference is massive, it’s still a tinny but its a big improvement from my old seahorse! It’s definitely opened up a lot of doors with the coastal creek runs!!

That session fired up!!! Do you usually experience that before a storm hits (for Barra Jacks etc.)? Question on your awesome esky - what size is it and where did you get the custom foam / logo?! It's soooo good
Jacks are always fired up before rain or a storm. Best time to go for a fish.
Yeah usually when there’s storms around the fish fire up in the lead up! I put this down to them thinking they need to feed up incase the river dirties up.. I could be wrong but it seems legit 😅
@@Micksgonefishing yea that’s what I’ve found as well. Also I’ve found they generally go shallow to feed before a storm as well.
Need to do a flathead session on the flats, be good to see something different mate, or a mud crabbing episode or crabbing while having a day fish
Yeah I was thinking of doing a flatty session soon, they’re a fun honest fish to chase on light line!
