Like I usually have to really practice for a while to get the highest notes in a Marianas Trench song but this song has notes that are too high for me AND notes that are too low for me! It’s a perfect blend of everything Josh has ever done. A person calling out for adventure, seeking a Hero’s Journey.
The imagery at first was giving me The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon vibes, but after this… I just want the full album.
Hero's Journey I'd a perfect way to describe! I just pictured how it sounded like a soundtrack to an epic film of sorts.

I'm UGLY crying on my bathroom floor rn. this music video and the lyrics are all so well done and I think we all can relate to wanting to just break out of our "normal lives". and stop listening to what other people say "normal" is. this song has a little bit of everything from fix me to phantoms. It's the classic MT we all love (synths, orchestra, screaming, harmonies, repeating chord progressions) but there's also something ELSE. Something NEW. and I'm crying bc I remember the first time I heard this band in middle school I KNEW there was something great about them. And now I'm 25 still rocking with them because they still somehow have even MORE in the vault???!?? Beyond excited to purchase this album and be blessed with another era of Marianas Trench. 🥂🥹🫶🏾❤️🥲

An ex introduced me to you guys way back in 2019 sometime before Phantoms came out I think and I loved it all then and I still love what ya'll are doing now!!

That a cappella harmony followed by heavy guitar always takes me back to Queen (Prophet Song, specifically) and I'm SO glad to hear it again here~. Ya'll are one of the few bands I've found that manage to channel what made Queen feel so magical to me when I was a kid (not just their sound, but the ambition and passion and narrative) and every time you drop another banger like this it takes me right back scream-singing in the kitchen with my mom.

Amazing song. Wouldn't expect less. My unofficial review of Mr. Ramsay's amazing vocal range on this song: LOW NOTE- F2. Approx 1:40 into the song. HIGH NOTE- A5. Approx 5:20 into the song. Over 3 octaves (3+a third?). His voice sounded like he had more left on both ends. Fantastic voice, awesome song, amazing band. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

This absolute masterpiece managed to capture the feel and sound of every single album. I’m even hearing some of the runs from Miles and Miles on here. This is truly some of the best work to come from you guys and Josh in particular as a producer engineer and composer omg.
I will never stop being in awe of how intelligent your music is. The lyrics are so well put together and evoke so much feeling from us listeners. The musical arrangements add so much to the storytelling of the albums. Not to mention all of the ways you call back to musical motifs from past albums, but adapt them to the current album's style. This is exactly why you all have been my favorite band for over 14 years
This is my absolute favourite part of what makes them who they are as a band. It's unique and just incredibly genius in such a subtle way!

Ive been a fan since 2010 . josh you changed my life in 2013 and i decided to lose weight and be healthier lol that didnt happen cause i turned to drugs but now im sober after having a talk with pierre bouvier from simple plan ( lol the mennice he is ) he said it aint worth it and moderation is key . my uncle knew him . now i got severe asthma and need to stay sober for health tests . anyway i cant wait for the whole album its totally dedicated to the baby ❤❤❤ congrats josh !!! im so happy for you and amanda and saras gonna be an aunt !!

Fell in love with these guys probably 15 years ago but hadn't really kept up with anything new since then.
All I can say about this is WOW! They've obviously come a long way. Not sure what demographic the normal fan base encompasses but to this older fan this really feels a lot like Queen when they were at their best, and that's quite a compliment.
