@@RetroKingOG But it's also why they've gained new fans as well! I've been a fan throughout, since Fix Me. Some do stay, some go, but that's okay. They still have a big enough fanbase, as well as some loyal long time fans. 😊
This is all the more reason why I love them. I'd be happy if they kept the same style for each album but it makes me cherish each album that much more! Every album is like a whole new story. I love hearing any new song or album, it is like stepping into a new world.

I was a fan at the beginning and then they had a pop emo phase and I was out. This is just pop emo light.
I wouldn't say this sounds drastically different from their other music.
I've been listening to MT since I was 13... I'm now 31. I think I'll always come back to their songs.

wow. the flashbacks. i would sit in my room for hours watching every single music video and the behind the scenes of it all. what an era. ❤️ can’t wait to step into the next one.
I don't think these guys will ever understand how much joy this brought to my heart.
I have survived through addiction, life altering events and mental illness. The last time I felt normal was the days when I was obsessed with this band. I was the ultimate 13 year old fan girl and it is still some of the best memories I have. Being able to go back to those moments today was more than I could ever ask for from an artist.

I just discovered MT & am totally enthralled 😃 Josh Ramsay: what a personality, voice, & range!! I'm 67 & MT's sound brings back my 80's dancing days: George Michael, Prince newly burst upon the scene, Madonna, The Alarm, The Fixx (yes, an acquired taste!), Dire Straits, Simple Minds, etc. Such great music & energy! Josh is very special: versatile, everchanging, funny, dramatic, & outsize talented. I knew from an early age that I didn't want kids (in this lifetime!) but have wondered what my baby might look like, his or her future, talents, & challenges. I saw this video then read Josh's quote about learning they were going to have their first child, & got absolute chills ~ his joy & excitement come over SO clearly in this song!! Most of all, he just seems so damn nice & HAPPY, infectious with it, exuberant & opening his arms wide to the WORLD & Universe!! 💖💢💢💥 This song actually makes me wonder if I should have had children, which I've always been adamant about, but oh, all his emotions, positive vibes, & sense of wonder!! Josh, I wish you & your lady all the best always. Whatever happens in your child's life, he or she will be very special too, & -- I believe -- destined for great things. HAPPINESS & JOY to you all!!! I cant believe I've been a fan for 18 years. It feels like just yesterday I heard them on the radio for the very first time. They've been with me through so much. Losing friends, losing my godfather, my friend battling and sieving her breast cancer, graduations, therapy, gaining new lifelong friends, my brother's surgery, my niece being born. My marriage. They've been my Everlasting Companion through my whole life.

This is one of those bands that is like a masterclass in how to age gloriously... Still look good, their message has matured and almost been fine tuned and their music is still phenomenal.
I found Marianas Trench about 10 years ago and have been a die hard fan ever since. Seeing all these clips together brought me to tears. Thank you for making such amazing music that has consistently been the soundtrack to so much of my life.
So I think when I retire, I want to travel around going to Marianas Trench concerts. #retirement goals

I first became a fan of Marianas Trench just as I was entering high school. I am now five years into my career after graduating from college. This band has been with me through every stage of my life. I felt I grew and matured along with these four men and the rest of the fan base. They have shaped my taste in music and will forever be my #1 band!
How can be the first time I listen to a music and it gives me nostalgia?
I wasn't a big fan of this song when it dropped, but it's really growing on me. Josh Ramsay is a brilliant songwriter.
Damn, this song feels like a ode to all the years they’ve had together before the dreaded “indefinite hiatus”.
It really does, which makes the “this is only just beginning” lyric feel really ironic. I didn’t feel it as much with the song before the video, but after watching this, I’m like, “Damn, is this going to be our goodbye album?”
I'm literally in tears, thank you for this lookback through the years, thank you for being a band so many love, thank you for being rhe rock so many needed at certain points in their lives.

been a massive fan of you guys since i was 9 or 10 during the masterpiece theatre era and i can cross-reference the different eras with different stages of my life, all the way up to me now being 24. so grateful for the memories and the music that has comforted me through it all. super excited to finally see you live for the first time in november
As I struggle with what we lost during the pandemic, I can honestly say that I may not have found these guys ever without it. The line about his mother and father being in the room still makes me clutch. I’ve probably played it 100 times already. My 25 year old son just rolls his eyes and points out a new Marianas Trench video I haven’t binged yet. And having found them together I discovered Josh’s solo album that is fantastic and opened the door to all the other Canadian artists he recorded duets with. I could go on and, but I’ll just sit back and watch the video for the 100th time.
The throwback videos are EVERYTHING. Absolutely makes this video.
I can't stop playing this song, it makes tears stream down my face, esp. the part where he talks about his parents. It's so bittersweet, for anyone who's lost someone, but i love how the song is full of hope and the clouds part at the end, i can't wait to see this live, it will truly be a spiritual experience ❤🩹❤💜

This band has been my favorite band since 2010, when i was turning 13. I hadnt cared too strongly for music before then but now i love it all. This makes me cry so much. I remember being a teenager and how I felt during each era. I've come so far. My schizophrenia is managed, I'm happily married, and we've built a whole life together. I finally have reached the "it gets better" part of my journey.

MT will forever be my favorite band, I remember the first time I listened to them during their fix me era and was instantly in love.
