Why the english major? There is nothing particularly special here lyrically that isn't a typical pop song. The tell tale heart throw away line isn't seriously enough to make you weep is it? I'm a fan, but christ our english majors are going down the shitter.

This is the perfect contrast to Only the Lonely Survive. I’m glad they’re still using some of their older sound in this album.

I feel this song in my very soul. First of all I love Marianas Trench so much! Every single album has its own distinctive style yet they all seem to compliment and tie together so you can tell it's from the same artists. It's like seeing different facets of a person's personality or life (which we are) and that's beautiful. Also now I really want to read The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. It makes sense to incorporate that into the lyrics so much since Edgar's life and stories came from such a tortured place and this song evokes such a beautiful approach to how we all feel during various heartbreaks. Absolutely stunning.
Couldn't agree more. This song reminds me of Lover Dearest as that was a love letter to his addiction as a goodbye to it. This sounds like it was written to his addiction but as an acknowledgement that he'll always live with it and fight it off everyday.

For those who don't know who Roger Joseph Manning Jr. is, he was in the band Jellyfish in the 90's, currently plays keyboard for Beck, and has written some of the greatest Power Pop songs of all time.
The only reason I listened to this, and any fans of Jellyfish can see his contribution to this is obvious.

So I didn't think it was possible for me to love you guys more, but here we are. Honestly no matter what mood I am in, I could find a song of yours to keep me in that frame of mind. I'm so glad I got to see you guys in concert when you came to Sydney a few years ago. My only regret is I didn't go to the meet and greet after the concert because I'm not from the Sydney and needed to catch the bus home because I really couldn't afford a taxi. I hope you guys come back one day!!

This song made me smile, for the first time since before Christmas, December 14th, I lost my mom to her drug addiction, September 21, 2018 I lost my boyfriend he was 24 and died in a car accident and paid for half of his memorial. October 17, 2018 I lost my cousin who was 19 years old due to gun violence. I don’t know how to be happy, but marianas trench is my friend when all my friends left because they couldn’t handle my grief .
