A fantastic collection!! I would love to see Charlotte's collection. I love how she has gotten involved in this insane hobby, and how she supports you in it!!
Out of all the my watch collection videos I've seen on UA-cam, yours is the only one I've watch till the end. Simple, straight to the point no fluff and polished at the same time.
Any collection that fits in a single watch box is far from out of hand. I have to admit that I was surprised and impressed by the variety, and that quarter repeater! Wow! No Rolex, no Omega, ten watches including three pocket watches, a couple of GS and a couple of Casio.... Such an interesting collection. Super curious about Charlottes watches now.
Simply love the collection! I even have 3 of these watches - the Casios and the Mars Swatch! Thanks God it wasn't another Rolex boring dominant collection! Imo any collection that doesn't have a Rolex is an interesting one!
Think you’ve done well to only have 10. My collection is a byproduct of my hobby of watch repair . Last count was 200+ when you have worked on them inside and out they get under your skin. Really like that you have pocket watches because you like the movements. Well done Andrew.
My favorite watch in this video is the Grand Seiko Omiwatari. The Casio A500 comes in a close second. My absolute favorite thing about this video however is how many times you said, “Charlotte” in such a sincere and loving manner. It seriously put a big cheesy smile on my face.
The GS Spring Drive is a masterpiece. I would keep this for life. I would ditch the Hamilton and keep the Howard. Thanks for sharing. It's great to see one of the most respected watch reviewers in the world to have a collection built over years with true passion for watchmaking including some pieces that are more accessible for the common folks. It shows you can still enjoy horology without having to spend big money.
Like you I have a Hamilton 992 pocket watch. I inherited it from my father-in-law, who inherited it from his father. It’s actually a 1935 992E. I DO wear it as a watch from time to time. I’ve even bought waistcoats to go with it. I love looking at the movement, but would rarely sneak a peek at it for fear of getting dust in the movement. Thank you for the suggestion of swapping the crystal and case back. Now I can look at the movement anytime I want. Then on the special occasions when I want to wear it as a watch, I can just reverse the swap. Super!!!
Very enjoyable episode. You are far down the rabbit hole when you reverse the pocket watch to enjoy viewing the movement. Those tiny little hand crafted gears and springs are mesmerizing.
Hello Andrew! First comment here I think. Nice video and nice collection. I am impressed that you got 10 watches. That really shows how easy and simple you are. And yes I would like to see your wife's collection. (I speak french so excuse my english.)
V Cool collection! The best professional speaking voice. Whatever wrist watch you speak of brings in a perception of so much class and elegance. Thank You for all your videos!
Thanks for a look at your collection. I recommend you keep all of your watches. After a few months, notice which one's stay in the case. There you will find your answer.
Thanks for sharing! It’s exciting to see what you choose with your budget given you have handled thousands of watches. The reality is watches are expensive, but most people don’t have the money (or don’t want to spend the money) to afford thousands of dollars worth of watches, so I’m glad you are not just another youtuber showing off how much money you spent on watches. It’s really ridiculous how we praise “collectors” for spending their (or their family’s…) money…. Anyways, I really like the omiwatari and Christopher Ward. The quarter repeater is super cool.
One of your best videos so far! 🙌 Lisa (my wife) wants to see Charlotte's collection! Love that you started with Grand Seiko. The dial on the Sea of Clouds SBGP017 is stunning 🌊☁️
And here we thought we already knew all of your watches! Andrew than repeater pocket watch blew me away. Brilliant idea to have the dial removed. Thanks for the share!. Would love to see Charlotte's watches as well.
I hope you can purchase an ALS sometime soon, Andrew. Your voice is a staple of the watch community and has and will continue to inspire so many collectors. Lovely collection!
Gotta love those pocket watches! I started repairing them, which only made the habit worse, but it's glorious to hear all of them ticking in a quiet room.
8:03 I have one of these. It's honestly not my favorite, but out of the eight watches I own, it is probably the most practical for all my needs (except beater or dress--beater and dress roles should NEVER be shared by the same watch).
What an incredibly refreshing collection that doesn’t cost upwards of £50k. Great video, shows you don’t need to spend 10s of thousands to enjoy this hobby.
Great collection - love the fact that you also collect pocket watches. You think the Howard movement is gorgeous, just do a search on the Hamilton 994 or 946 movement. Or a Waltham Maximus, or Elgin Veritas. They exceed Patek or A. Lange. Mind blowing!!!!!!!!!
Great video Great collection. Really enjoyed. Thanks for sharing And there’s nothing wrong with a cheese and ham sandwich (particularly when toasted with melted cheese)
I have two, both the same. But now thankyouverymuch I now need a Hamilton 992b. I wish I could get a Seiko Spring drive as a skeleton pocket watch, or Citizen's Cal.0100 pocket watch at all.
Absolutely want to see Charlotte’s collection! Good job sir on an interesting and personal collection. Can we see a video on that chain drive repeater? Collecting is an endless complex of interesting angles. Don’t let the algorithm drive the content too much to the criticism and hot takes, keep going on the stuff that makes watches cool in the first place!
Wonderful choices from modern tech to antique. I love pocket watches too!!! Who cares if they can even still tell time!!! 😂. Yes. Charlotte next please!
I would keep the seiko with spring drive and casio fw91 and the word timer. Maybe also the Hamilton pocket watch. But your collection is way better than the ones with rolexes, Richard mills, pateks and those other big brands.
Hey Andrew, great video and great collection! When we chatted at the Seattle event you were wearing that groovy Casio worldtimer, although I would have loved to have seen the CW in the metal! Keep up the great work and content!
if you want Lange quality and designs with less Lange prices, Glassutte original is a good option, also if you like the pocket watch moments, you can have a custom case made for the movement, and make it into a wristwatch.
Hey bud nice collection…I am honestly no one to pass a judgement here but I just loved the Christopher Ward & the BB58…at 1 & respectively…I would certainly want to see Charlotte’s collection too…Cheers!!
Andy's got me looking at Pocket Watches too now.. these old Beautiful movements are something to behold!..I want one!..NOW!! I wanna get one of these old movements and whack one in a Wristwatch Case, with a nice old enamel dial.. Gawjuss.❤
I've got a Cartier santos, a patek Philippe nautilus, two Oris big crown pointers, some vintage mechanically wound Oris watches, Hamilton ventura XXL skeleton, an oyster perpetual and yet I walk around wearing my Casio edifice 😂 wish my wife supported my watch collection, I just pray she never finds out how much I've spent on my current collection 😅
I can relate to this completely. I started with one watch in my teens, it broke so I got another one but while looking for another one I noticed one or two others so after a pint or 4 at the pub I ended up with three. That was the initial onset of the watch collection, only cheap watches but there you go. It all slowed down to a halt when money was diverted to fast motorcycles and taking girls out and then a mortgage. Some decades later and it started again, my only working watch if I recall had broken so I needed a replacement..... and a backup. You can see where this is going. And yes my F-91W is a prime staple in my collection amongst a some mechanicals and digitals. At risk of being shot at have you considered a G-Shock? I'll get my coat.
I'm not sure which is more impressive: your taste in watches or your taste in women. No, I am sure. I hope you remind her every day of just how special she is. Your watch collection is nice, too. Thanks for all your great videos. There is no other watch commentary I appreciate and respect more than yours. Cheers!

@@davidr2802the fact that every watch has a story and means something to him you dingus

Except for the pocket watches, most of your piece are typical of what what is popular with the UA-cam community. Not a criticism just an observation.
Fantastic indeed! I value the stories behind the collection.
Totally up to see Charlotte's collection. Give her taste in Casios, it's most likely impeccable.
Andrew, your watch collection is as quirky and interesting as you are! Bravo!
Yes, please, do show us Charlotte's collection :)
Genius collection only surpassed by the candid and funny commentary! You never disappoint! Thank you for continuing to educate and entertain!

Your Omiwatari and The Twelve are the best in the collection for sure. Great pieces!
YES! Please! Show us Charlotte’s collection! INCLUDING THE DVD!! 7:34
Nice to see a Christopher Ward, I have many and a fair number of the rare ones. My favourite is the white dial, red bezel GMT MK2.
Your Grand Seiko Omiwatari is hands down the crown jewel of your collection . Congrats!

Great collection and as always impeccable commentary. Have to show Charlottes collection aswell, maybe get her to to a hand cameo like the OG days🤣👍
You are the best in the watch game. Your collection is genuine and real and I just love everything you make.
Will you max out at 10 or continue to add? I feel like after 10 it’s a good time to start trading up instead of adding more. Great video 🙌🏼

Yes please to Charlotte’s collection. Yours is awesome. Love the idea of removing the dial
Yes. A review of Mrs. Morgan’s collection please 🙏.
I have an 1890s Waltham pocket watch in my collection for similar reasons, and it works!
Sweet to enjoy your hobby with the person you love ❤️
Just plain great......Wouldn't ditch a thing. They all have a story and that's what makes them priceless...IMHO :)
Yes!!!! Let’s see Charlotte and her collection. Cheers.
Great collection; it shows taste and interest. The pocket watches and Casios really shine. The wife knows her game!
Grand Seiko - Totally on brand for you! Excellent choice 😀😀
The CW is looking good! And those pocket watch movements - definitely the repeater 😍

Very good taste Andrew. Impressed by all the pocket watches!
I really like your collection! You are a down to earth guy and that’s amazing. Keep on the great work!
The Omiwatari is out of this world. I’m so tempted even though it’s likely way to dressy for my lifestyle!
Tudor is my favourite of yours.
Would be happy to have either of the Grand Seikos.
Gotta love those pocket watches! I started repairing them, which only made the habit worse, but it's glorious to hear all of them ticking in a quiet room.
