I came here to say the same thing. Flip the servo around. I’m not a heli guy so I could be wrong but the amount he’s short on that rod would appear to be the offset of the servo distance.
@@stefanparsch6226 Well maybe maybe not. The servo lead needs to come out towards the front of the boom and not the back. I had the same issue and just loosened them out some.
Actually on the Kraken that's the way the servo is mounted, he installed it correctly but think he glued the screwing threads in too far maybe and need to back ball link off a bit.
51 year old kid here who has all sorts of helicopters and nitro rc trucks. Enjoy the hobby. Watch UA-cam videos pertaining to ypur likes about rc stuff. Then work on your own stuff with your dads or a parent. You will learn a lot more a lot faster. And you will enjoy the hobby a lot more.
I sold everything after crashing a Trex 550 DFC, Blade 300 CFX, Blade mCPX, a dozen nanos, and (embarrassingly) three beautiful Goblin 500s. Being said, I love everything about rc helis and regret nothing. To be honest, I quit flying a couple years ago because I had an extremely close call and almost got hit. It really spooked me. Being said, after watching this video I decided to pre-order this Kraken. She's downright gorgeous and just so damn sexy. I'm finally ready to get back into the game. This time I'm going to do things right and differently. I just ordered Real Flight 9.5 and AccuRC. I also just pre-ordered a Spirit Pro FBL and Geolink GPS unit so that if it falls below my preselected height, it'll automatically recover regardless if I hit the "rescue mode" or not. Plus you can create a geo wall so it will automatically hover back home if it ever flies out too far or high. This will seriously boost my confidence and calm my nerves. No matter how much I practice, I'm always a little bit on edge whenever flying the real thing, especially with people watching. IMO, flying in real life is so much different than practicing on a sim, especially when a simple mistake can cost you serious $$$. I absolutely love the therapeutic process of building, tuning, and programming everything, but it royally sucks watching your "pride and joy" mint condition heli getting annihilated in a split second. I was so crushed and defeated the last time I crashed, lol. If was 100% my fault though. I was just thinking about the last mistake that made me quit. Looking back, many mistakes were made. Being downright retarded, I installed a custom canopy that looked really badass, but was really impractical and stupid. It was BLUE. It was my first flight with this new color scheme and I severely underestimated just how hard it would be to see against the sky. I had bail-out mode set my ikon FBL too, but it was worthless in this situation. I stupidly flew my brand new goblin on a really windy day too because I was impatient and excited to test it out. Everything was going great so I decided to do some pyro-flips. I don't know what happened, but after doing a couple I couldn't tell which direction it was flying. I've never been disoriented like this before. I thought I was bringing it back to me when in reality it was going farther away. I had a spotter with binoculars run up and help guide it back. But when it got close to me, my brain completely short-circuited. I got confused with the orientation AGAIN. It was coming STRAIGHT AT ME FAST and it was like a shot of adrenaline hit me. I panicked and stupidly pulled the cyclic back hard. Because it was actually facing away from me, it lunged right at me. I almost shit my pants because it was so close to killing me. I immediately panicked and slammed it right into the ground. I was so shooken up and ashamed that I gave up the hobby (until now).
I witnessed a guy crash his brand new GAUI R5 on the maiden flight. Actually he didn't even fly it as it was taking off it spun out of control and crashed. Turns out he had the tail gyro setting backwards. It wasn't a total loss but he had to basically go back and repair and check everything over again which is very time consuming and tedious.
I absolutely loved this build. I have an align trex 300. It was my first purchase into the rc world and I must say it's very difficult for a beginner. I've crashed it only about 5 times and the same amount I've flown it. It's in perfect condition but your right kev! The crashes is what mad ne stop flying. And than I came across your videos and I bought my first kraton 6s. Now my heli is just sitting around. I've been trying to sell it so I can upgrade my kraton more but no one wants to buy it );
Ok now after thinking about the servo, I’m pretty convinced this was done on purpose to elicit maximum comments. Kev knows engagement is key. Hats off to you Kev, you sly bugger you. ✌🏻
I have the same Goblin helicopter and I am using the WELLPOWER 5000mah 6s x2 lipos. These are really powerfull and I fly them now for 3 years, each one has over 500 Full charges and they are as good as they were New
Just finished building mine. Every thing is so big I didn't even need needle nose pliers. Surprised the FAA does not require a license to fly something this huge. Makes my buddy 380 look like a toy.
SAB’s quality is high end, but I wouldn’t say they’re the “pinnacle” in terms of flight performance. There are other high end kits that perform just as well (synergy, minicopter, mikado, miniature aircraft). Nice build nonetheless, grateful for you giving the RC Helicopter hobby exposure :)
More Heli and plane vids please way more exciting than the car vids! Also can the tail rotor servo be flipped around to make the length correct. Just a guess could be totally wrong. Nice channel I enjoy ur vids and I have my kids saying tumble tumble when they flip they're rc cars lol 😂👍
i have a goblin 500 heli and they are built very well but oh my when they crash u don't break one thing u break about at least 5 different parts most expensive aspect of the rc hobby you can get into
The Rcmaxgang fully understands next level quality RC parts!😉 im still afraid to run my Rcmax Supreme 55 Baja it cost me $6,000 usd! nice Heli Kev, get venom 50c 9000mah 4s packs its what i run on my Xmaxx!👍👊
7:45 I think the servo needs to be turned 180 degrees, that should be a better fit!
It's the wrong way indeed.
Was just about to write the same.
also agree flip the servo and it should be correct
Yes that should do the trick
Same
You have to flip the servo, the rod is ok. Also nice vid!!!
like this so kev can see!!

The rudder servo needs to be flipped so the servo arm sits closer to the the rudder then the rod and angle will be correct mate
Yes, turn the Servo 180 degree and you should be ok.
All us heli guys caught that right away !

wdym 'rudder'? there is no rudder on a heli, only a tail rotor. well, controllable rudder that is
That thing is gorgeous and terrifying!!
A good lipo to use is ThunderPower 5000mah 100c 12s lipo. Matt Botos uses them and they work very nice
What’s up your the one that got me into rc cars and I’m eleven thank you for introducing this hobby to me

It’s the same situation fur me bruh except the fact that I’m 12

Kev! Turn the tail servo round! 🤪
700 size electrics are the best!!! Flown them for years. Definitely the best form of rc and undoubtedly the most difficult.
