Bro, you should locate a local Helicopter club in your area or a competition coming up. You should go. Ive gone with the kids and man, its great. Also knowing how to fly planes, heli's on an intermediate level, drones, etc I can see and know the skillsets on that next level. Its awesome.

Tareq is such a talented pilot. Really takes someone to try to just hover one of these things to appreciate the amount of sheer talent to fly like this. It looks crazy and all over the place but really to make it do what it does takes a lot of training and natural talent. The precision at the end of the grass cutting and blade scraping was unreal and really shows Tareq can not only fly around like crazy but really has control of the machine at all times. Really amazing flights congrats Tareq Alsaadi!
Javier Moreno Some things are way easier now with the flybarless setup, high voltage servos, and gyros. Also the power of the electric get you out of a lot of binds. Now saying that the power gets you int predicaments too. This guy is awesome and your vision, reaction time, and creativity have to be on point! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@Kris Kross No, I don't think so. To fly at this level takes real skill. And you can't simply buy that. I've seen 12 year olds doing 3D that blew my mind. Not because they were rich, but because they were naturally tallented, and/or had thousands of hours of practice. To simply pass this tallent off as due to wealth is more than a bit naive in my view.

Any RC pilot will tell you; "If you can't afford to repair everything, then don't fly." But I also had enough imagination to find flying IRL an adrenaline pumping experience. Maybe the key thing is not money, but absolute self-belief and/or massive ego/naivety. (Often goes with money, after all.) I do wonder how close Kris has been to starting up one of these things for real while holding the controls? They are, imo, bloody terrifying! Unless you have absolutely no imagination or soul at all, it will probably double your heart rate and make you seriously question why you are doing it. I guess over time that fear lessens, and confidence and ability grows. It did with me after a while. But to say it is 'easy' is like saying driving an F1 car is 'easy', or flying an F35 is 'easy'. Sure; once you've mastered all the skills required, _everything_ is easy! That's why we are all gold-medal winning astrophysics with Nobel peace prizes and 8 PHDs in disparate subjects, serving in the SAS, right, Kris?

I mean anyone can fly a walmart special or most drones for that matter.
Tell me, I am going from heli's to dab in the race drone world. I find it very difficult to find a major brand of race drone, unlike helicopters that many stand behind like helis, cars, planes, etc. With these you have major name brands and avaialble parts. With these race drones, not the DJI film slow versions, there is nothing at the top. Its usually mix and matches of various parts from all over. Also, how far can you go on the radio withouth losing connection where its lost in the wood or on top of some random building? Battery life?
It took me months on a Sim to learn how to fly collective pitch helis ( having about a year of coax and fixed pitch heli-with SAFE- experience). These pilots have insane skill.
I just recently bought my first CP heli, a T-Rex 470LM by Align, after having... A. No simulator time B. Never built a kit heli before. C. Not flown anything at all in 5 years. D. Never flown anything but quads and a Blade 200 SR X (fixed pitch) with SAFE. I am completely insane. I know. But hey! I have had about 10 flights with it so far without breaking anything... and HO-LEE-SHIT is this thing amazing. Every time I think I am hot stuff I look at one of these guys tossing around a Kraken and eat a large dose of humble pie. This is truly a joy to watch.

The crazy stuff might be muscle memory because in the simulator you can do really crazy stuff and crash but then you can figure out how to save it from crashing after loads of practice. Or he is just super talented. But I fly 3d and I don't do all that crazy lol I just go inverted and throw it around a bit. Anyway I don't really know how he does it that's just my guess.
Tareq just gets more and more amazing each time from what he does with these rc helis, one would wonder how often he changes the bearing on the remote sticks gimbal. Those bearing will be flaming hot to carry out those unimaginable maneuvers. I also keep wondering how many gigabytes of ram he uses in his brain to calculate and process those precise feats, Tareq you my man is the greatest 3d rc pilot, hats off!
The pitch of the rotor blades can turn both side negativ-Pitch and positiv-Pitch but to fly like Tareq in this Video you will need a lot a lot a lot of experience.

I’m late to this, but basically the blades on the helicopter have the ability to change their pitch and the helicopter blades get up to such high RPMs that when you change the pitch from full negative to full positive it results in an absolutely insane acceleration of the helicopter which is why he’s able to do the unreal things that he does

I never understood how this is possible. I have spend my time flying helicopters and spend even more time repairing them again. ; ) This is moving so fast, i am not be able to see what is up or down anymore. I have spend many hours with simulators but any attempt at stunts ended in a crash. And altough this is impressive as hell, i rather see a smooth realistic kind of flying. And many rc pilots will not even be able to manage that. I never did.
Pilot doesn't have any room for mistake. If he'll be late by a fracture of a second, he'll smash this copter into a splash of tiny broken pieces. What a talent...
There was an actual insect that was significantly larger than a dragon fly and almost identical in shape and body plan, let's just say it would have been Simaler to this.

wait, how does it provide lift on both sides? Edit: I looked it up, they can fly upside down because small motors can change the pitch of the blade to go up or down. a downward facing angle will provide lift in the opposite direction, so when it is upside down it can fly. if it were right side up while facing down, then it actually accelerates down faster than gravity itself. That's just one more thing you don't see that the pilot is doing during all of this. constantly changing the pitch of the blade, and somehow knowing if it is going to be right side up or up side down, before even putting in the controls to do those things. crazy.

saw these about 18 years ago at the local field with my dad...guy was so accurate and good at it he would knock a cigarette out of a mannequin hand while flopping around flying upside down and backwards lol...then start flipping and flailing around like crazy burning nitro fuel and all...was amazing to see!
