Hi! I'm from Orvieto and this video is very good! You covered pretty much everything about our city, i want to add just a few more things: If you don't wanna climb the torre del moro there are a few other spots where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the countryside: a little square behind the chiesa of San Giovenale, the Fortezza Albornoz and the Confaloniera. If you come to orvieto by car (there is an highway exit a few minutes out of the city) then another spot not to miss is Rocca ripresena, it's a little village built on top of a rock in front of orvieto. Once you climb to the top you will be able to see orvieto from the distance, it's very beautiful. Thanks again for the video, hope you enjoyed your stay!
I love Orvieto… As an all of Italy, I recommend seeing it in the off-season when there are few tourists… Yes, you can make it it to a day trip but it’s a rather long and rushed trip… And there’s so much to see, I would recommend staying there at least one night… You can relax, enjoy the ambience… And in the evening the tourists leave… so you can feel what it’s like to be an Orvietano …
I stumbled on to your channel by accident. Thank you for your video. It was very informative. I had looked at orvetto on Google Maps. While searching for day trips from Rome. You have confirmed that this will be one of my day trips. I have been to italy three times and i'm bringing Thailand wife for the first time. Planning 7 days in Rome staying near the train station/metro. And in planning to take her on 2 day trips during that week on the train.. The first trip she must see the leaning tower of pizza. Of course, and you helped me select orvetto. Thank you so much.
We were just in Orvieto on a tour but only spent a few hours there on our way to Florence. I really had no idea that there was so much to see there. We really need to to go back to Italy at least a few more times to really see more of the country. Our 10 day tour just wasn't nearly enough time there.
There is so much to see in Orvieto and Italy in general. I live here and there is still so much to discover. Hope you enjoyed your trip and will be back soon!
Food …try the Pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale egg pasta with roasted wild boar meat or sausage… Absolutely stunning. Oh, it’s delicious. Also, try Tagliatelle con tartufi … with freshly grated, usually white truffles… So simple, so delicious… It’s hard to find this kind of food in the US… Italian American food just doesn’t do it… Too many ingredients… Too much sauce… Too much garlic… yikes!… And also any place in Italy, especially in the north try the many varieties of risotto dishes… I’ve never had a good risotto in the US… Never… It’s actually quite easy to make but you just have to be present and stir and serve quickly…

I’ve been to Orvieto several years ago but now want to go back and see the sites I missed. Thank you for another wonderful video! ❤
My pleasure! Hope you'll visit soon :)❤️
Wonderful video - thanks!
Thank you!
Where do you park if you’re driving there? Thank you for the great vid!
Parking is always a challenge in Italy, be it in small or big cities. You will have to park just a little bit outside of the actual town center.
Orvieto cittadina d'arte bel panorama buon vivere e gente perbene
Thanks
My pleasure!
Thanks, good vibing video!
Thank you!
@@StayFabulousTL we are on the train from Roma now! Perfect timing. Going to hit Civita di Bagnoregio too!
@@CraigThielen-yq8nv oh wow! Have the most wonderful time. Good timing indeed - just started pouring in Rome🌧️
hello! new here! thinking of planning a trip to italy for next year in 2024. would you recommend staying in an airbnb?
Both hotels and airbnbs have nice options. It more depends on your preference.
أحب هذا المكان وأهله لسبب أحتفظ بي لنفسي وسأحاول الوصول إلا هناك بحرا.
What was the name of the mini metro and how do you find it when you get off the station?
It is right in front of the train station. You cannot miss it. As soon as you get off the train, you will see everywhere going there.
We are going to Rome in a week. Do the people in Orvieto speak English?
You will have no problem speaking just in English there
si trova in italia questo vero?
Si, in Italia😊

Oh, "To be a Well of Saint Patrick" is just also an Italian figure of speech meaning something or someone continuously consuming resources. 😅
Interesting!🤔
Can you friendship. Iam indian ❤
