They’re releasing a sequel may of 2022, after watching the trailer I’m honestly scared to watch it or it might ruin the whole thing for me These are one of those movies where its one and done
I saw this movie when I was 14 in 1986. I became a Tom Cruise fan right after. I wanted to wear a leather jacket, ride a motorcycle but not fly jets (heights scare me lol). I guess I wanted to be Fonzi lol. This movie effected my life in a good way: I don't know how many times I've said "talk to me goose" to my buddies. Wingman has become synonymous with pickup buddy. Maverick is what I call my hog lol. My girl calls it Jester lol. I know she jokes but damn. It was never a great movie but as far as 80's popcorn movies go, it's up there. People who grew up with this pic will always give it a higher rating. I grew up with it and I try not to let my nostalgic feelings get in the way. A solid 3 out of 4 stars.
