I remember this like it was yesterday. We lived in Middlesex County and we got 32” from that storm Loved it! We are overdue for another nor’easter like this. Hope it happens this year
I remember this like yesterday Even though I was only 6 because we moved from public Housing to our first house & nothing was going to stop us my grandmother kept saying the devil won't win we won't spend another hour In these projects
I was born Jan 2, 1996 and my mom said there was a crazy blizzard while she was giving birth to me! And I’ve had this dream that stuck with me for 20+ years with my mom holding me as a baby walking throw snow waste deep😭
27 years ago l was out in that blizzard with my six year old daughter her father had to put her on the shoulders, because the snow was that deep the wind you couldn’t breathe, surely thought I was gonna die that night, but God is good he saw us through it and we walked and got home, 2 feet of snow 80 miles an hour wind, Staten Island, New York.
I remember this. I was an essential employee and had to be to at work. I remember a coworker's husband going around picking up all of us workers in his big 4 wheel drive. Some of us were stuck on the job for almost a freaking week!

I do miss quiet snowy nights or even after the snow has fallen it’s such a peaceful vibe but the winters are getting warmer
They really had it rough back in the 1990s. Good thing we in the 2023 future can just fly over with our cars. Or maybe...
i have home videos of this blizzard and playing in the snow with family. It was wild i remember climbing snow mountains the size of 2 story houses.

"Build a snowperson" ... so even in 1996 they used woke language
"leaving samaritans, good and otherwise" - LOL
At least it sounded genuine back then instead of the way it’s force feed today!
