The after effects of this booking:
- Cody vs Rollins: If Cody loses, then his dream is just thrown into the void, and the Royal Rumble win was all for nothing.
- Cody vs Rollins: If Rollins loses, he would have lost to Cody four times, making him look inferior even more, like Roman states
- RAW Top Carders: People like Drew, and Gunther would also have to wait a long time for their championship run, since Cody will be holding unto the belt for a long time (should he win)
- Damian Priest: this man has to cash in eventually, and we definitely know he won't cash in on Roman. Should he win against Cody, all of Cody’s hard work would once again be for nothing. And if Damian loses, the Money In The Bank would feel useless once again.
- Roman extended title run: Roman is definitely winning against The Rock, meaning he will have the championship for another year. 🤦🏾♂️
- Smackdown Top Carders : The top carders on Smackdown, like LA Knight, would all feel worthless, as its pointless to even challenge Roman. Like this is why people like Edge and Bryan left. There's nothing for them to do, but just get involved in pointless side stories while WWE is just extending Roman’s run for the sake of records 🤦🏾♂️

The timing couldn't be more wrong. Cody hasn't done much since WM39 coz they're building him for Roman vs Cody 2 in WM40. They even made him a back to back rumble winner, just to give his spot to Rock. That sucks. I was even interested in the prospect of McIntyre beating Seth at WM, Punk comes back later and McIntyre bragging how he main evented WM again.

(Fast-forward) #1 contenders match at Elimination Chamber. Winner will be Drew or Randy. Most likely Drew. Drew will face Seth. Cody will defeat Roman at EC with help from the Rock. *To stop Solo etc.* (Cody will get his moment and Will help build up to Roman v Rock). Cody will come out on the next SmackDown and celebrate. Randy will come out to celebrate with him. then he'll get RKOed. LONG Story short...
Seth v Drew, Cody v Randy, and Roman v Rock. With Cody retaining his title at Wrestlemania. Cody finishes his story etc.
Everybody wins, everybody gets their moments etc. It's not bad booking via the circumstances. (Especially with Punk) I see a huge payoff. And this is why Cody's okay with The Rock taking the spot. Cody still going to get his moment with 60,000 plus at EC And he gets to face Randy at WrestleMania. Cody fans can still be happy. Cuz I'm happy for Roman v Rock. Also Drew fans can get excited because I believe Drew is going to beat Seth at WrestleMania. So he can have his moment at Wrestlemania (But as a heel) I see this as an absolute win!

Cody has to turn heel, he has to go on his villian arc,he goes after everyone who cost him the chance to finish the story.
He has to interfere in the WWE Championship match. Everybody will think it's Solo who pulled the referee but it turns out to be Cody.

cody can't turn heel, the whole reason why they want cody to beat roman, and put him on covers and house shows and clean victories and spotlights, is because he is supposed to be the FACE guy of the company, if he is going to be heel, he needs to have a semi shorter reign where he uses it to put an upcoming star guy over, but he is the face guy, and his whole gimmick revolves around the face role, otherwise, all for nothing

Most Likely this is going to be Rock's farewell match and WWE wants to do this in the occasion of 40th anniversary of WM. But burying someone who was basically the face of the company in the last year is really bad. I wouldn't be surprised if Cody leaves for AEW again.

The rock is old now so if we keep prolonging this match we may never get it. Also everyone is convinced that roman will win but lets just check the rock's track record when it comes to facing the face of the company at mania. Hogan, Austin, cena. He's beaten them all at mania. I like that he's the only person to have faced the face of the company for 3 different eras at mania. Lets have a final one before he can't do it anymore.
