- With the new iPhone 15 Pro And Pro Max you can now shoot your video footage in Prores Log. I'm going to show you how you can convert that Apple log footage to Rec 709 with a conversion lut you can download here plus some footage to play with.

Can i use this conversion lut for my iphone 13 footage??
Hey! This seemed so easy but isn’t for me. I’m using DaVinci and have footage from my 15 pro filmed in ProRes 422 proxy with the Blackmagic app. When I apply it it’s super saturated and deep blue. The scene was water and a sky. Any ideas?
Hi, i'm not sure because i'm not using Davinci resolve. maybe you need to adjust some of the strength of the conversion Lut?
@@VegardThefilmmaker got it! My footage color space was set to rec.709 in the app. Now it’s log and it applies perfectly. I thought I already had log set. Thanks!

I paid to download this for prores from my iPhone 15 pro, and it's just blown the image out in a horrible red.
Oh okey. Make sure to adjust your RGB and white balance. The Lut just brings it to Rec 709 so you still need to adjust like i showed in the video.
@@VegardThefilmmaker OK I think I've gone wrong. The phone wasn't set to encode in Prores Log, it was HDR. Would that account for it?
oh okey then it will not work. Make sure to record it in Log. :)
