I missed you again Happily retired outside this beautiful little town . Just far enough to be able to ride a bike in among the beautiful scenery . A slice of Heaven for sure
My wife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your content! I have a 125cc scooter and want to start a UA-cam channel and was wondering what editing software you’re using?! 🙏🛵
Paddy..nothing to worry about..the squeak is the calipers piston and the back of the disc pads …just need to put some copper ease between the back of the pads so the metal to metal doesn’t squeak..it’s normal ..it’s nothing wrong with your brakes..always use the front brake ..not rear unless you need to stop in an emergency .
I was amazed some place Paddy Doyle has not been in Thailand. I love the laid-back lifestyle Pai. My friend Pat just moved there about two months ago. He is loving it. I was a bit disappointed you did not visit the waterfall. I am a waterfall dude. I want to walk the tight rope! Yum toasty buns. Great video like aways mate!
Another beautiful video, Paddy. One of the things most interesting about your vlogs are the random people you meet and these small businesses in the middle of nowhere. Truly an adventure!
I nearly went to Pai, pre-covid, but it was the smokey burning season so people who had just been there told me not to bother. They said they couldn't see the mountains for the smoke. I was visiting Chiang Mai at the time. Oh well, another time. Looks like a nice place to chill out. A lot of familiar sights with shops, bars and street entertainment. I really enjoy kicking back and listening to the local musicians, sometimes sitting in if there's an extra guitar around. Anyway, thank you for the tour. Gotta love it!! Safe journeys.
Mate, just wanted to thank you for everything you do on here! My girlfriend and I are currently staying at the quu hotel, went to the white rabbit, will visit sky temple tomorrow... having the time of our lifes and you helped with that a great deal!! would have loved to meet up with you, hope you are having a great time up north with your family though! all my best!
Paddy mate these videos are getting better and better every single time This one gave me huge Series 1 budgeteers vibes for some reason (which IMO was one of the best series). Might be the locale haha, or just the fact that you’re talking/sharing so much Because really that’s why we’re alll here, more than for any location or adventure or event, we’re here for YOU Keep it up man ✌🏼
Hi Paddy, your big bite in that yummy burger was soo good ! mmmh😋!👍😂great and very exciting vid. Nature is breathtaking, love it ! another beautiful vid. good music 🎵
What a peaceful and chill looking place. Nice. You seemed ultra relaxed at the end of the video. Are you sure you didn't have some of that weed yourself '? ;o))
It's so quiet! I love Pai I've been there many times. And for a sleepy village it's really great for parties. Or it used to be. I'm sure it will change this winter now that Thailand is open again.
Pai had a very simple backpacker vibe 15 years ago, when I was there about 6 years ago there were busloads of Chinese tourists and now it seems to be getting more polished. Nice to see it more mellow for now, but probably not for much longer.
What a great video! I was reminiscing about the lovely days we spent in Pai many years ago. There wasn’t much there at the time but it was still idyllic and easy to spend days doing nothing. We stayed at the end of town on the other side of the river. We had to cross a rickety bamboo bridge to get to our little bungalow. On our departure day we woke up after a night of heavy rain and found the little bridge has been washed away! We were stuck on the other side of the river and ended up missing our bus 😆 we had so much fun there and will definitely return one day 🙏
I adore Pai! Spent a full month there back in January of 2017 and loved every minute of it. I really can't wait to visit again. Thanks for the beautiful video, Paddy!
Long time listener, first time caller…. Brought back some great memories, I rode my push bike around Thailand for 6 weeks late 2019 / early 2000 and did around 2,500 kms including the Mae Hong Son loop (not easy on a push bike!) this part of Thailand is special. Also inspired by your Ha Giang experience, this is def on my bucket list. Happy travelling Paddy
I loved Pai i spent 4 days there 5yrs ago and rented a scooter for the time so i could go into the hills and see the elephants and discover hidden places. I liked the rasta reggae bar which was under a huge tent just over the bridge on the outskirts of town. Will go again some day 🙏
Rainy season is crazy this year in Northern Thailand!!! P.s. Engine braking is your friend, dont be scared of it. The sound can be jarring at first, but it does no damage to your bike if you are in the appropriate gear for your speed. With those crazy twisties to Pai, it does wonders to downshift on steep downhills to reduce your speed. Safer than grabbing a last minute handful of brake before a switchback.
I have never been as disappointed in Thailand as much as was when I went to Pai. I'd suggest going to Khao San Road and then spend the rest of your time in one of the innumerable lovely places in Northern Thailand.
Thank you so much for sharing the video Paddy ! I am planning to visit Pai in Jan 2024. Hopefully Land Split Pai is reopened by now. Good to know that there is another sunset spot beside of Two Hut. I might go to both !
As for the front brake issue, check the brake rotor for scraps or gouges. Your bike seems too new to need mew brake pads. BTW, your knobby tires should do well on wet roads.
Love your attitude. Love that you went for it in the rain. That's an advantage of little Zelda over those big bikes. Much easier to handle in the rain.
Oh man, this place changed. I was there in the 90s, early 00s and it was such a quiet place. Very low key. Accommodation was very basic. I loved it there. Now it seems overcrowded. Things change. Especially between the 90s and now. It makes me nostalgic and a bit sad even. Back then you explored the area and waterfalls were just part of nature. Now they charge you a fee. It still is beautiful but not a Thai town anymore with a few backpackers.
i just came back from pai. two hut cafe was worth to visit.since 20yrs ago i started to visit pai occasionaly,i had been dreaming that this particular view point would be developed as cafe or guesthouse. now dream came true finaly!
I love riding that road. My brakes sound like that all the time, no worries. As for ‘real bikers’. It’s not the bike that makes a biker. It’s the journey, YOU are a real biker
Were you at two huts on your providence tour? Some smokers offered up some weed to you as I remember....lol Pai was absolutely desolate your last time through town. Good to see the rebound. Great vid as always. Peace.
Love this video & wouldn’t mind going to Pai one of these days! Kinda gives me the Haight/ Ashbury & Berkeley vibes in Northern California! Thanks for sharing this awesome video Paddy😊
Going to Pai in February 2023. Renting a bike in Chiang Mai. I have you to thank for the inspiration and information necessary for this trip. Thank you!
That bike speed in the middle for 30 seconds scared me so much !! But Pai looks amazing i gotta go over here and Chaing Mai as well . Last time I could only do the south of Thailand ,this time I am gonna try to cover the north in 2 weeks Hopefully that's enough !!
Paddy Thanks for showing Pai. I remember when you were there with the Budgeteers. Not that many people and the laid back vibe. Also, I remember you coming during the pandemic and how so many places were closed. I am glad the place is recovering and thank you for highlighting the place to travelers. I have to make my way up there. Where are your elephant pants? 😂 Cheers mate
Mate we went there a few days ago. Massive storm and so many trees down on the road. Pretty stressful drive but once we got to Pai the weather was lovely. Nice to chill out there for a couple of days after the stress of term 1 at school.
I've just got back from Doi Chang, and I loved it up there. I was a little too adventurous though. I decided to take a gamble and head to Doi Mae Mon, which is highly recommended (when you get there) but don't take the scenic route along the mountains because on my 125 Honda Click the journey is a rollercoaster of emotions. I only found out after that i took the most rural route possible only, suitable probably got quad bikes or motor cross. It was an emotional and phyiscally draining 40 min drive 😂
I absolutely love the content! One constructive piece of criticism is that the gopro mount on your handlebars is obstructing the POV riding shots quite a bit. I wish there was a way to free up the view and still allow a portrait shot of you while riding.
Super beer spot the new bar with a view, the whole raod to get to Pai is still on the bucketlist, one day 😏 You should be proud of Zelda mate, so deserved, keep enjoying the rides 💪 The day youas a youtuber will be the weathermen i would like to C a ogen mate 🤣555 Anyhow, that is still a sweet sopt to watch the sunset, thanks for this next level vlog mate 🙏 And as always, C Ya in the next one Paddy, cheers 🙌🍻
Hi Paddy! Love the videos, thank you! My partner and I are visiting Pai and love the idea of also visiting Mount Chiang Dao. In the start you mention a glamping tent under the mountain - please could you let me know which one it is? Thank you :)
Pai is such a special place ♥️ next up we're on our way to the border of Laos 🙏
Pai seemed like there was a much bigger Farang population than Thai! Is it a place that exists only for tourism?
I missed you again Happily retired outside this beautiful little town . Just far enough to be able to ride a bike in among the beautiful scenery . A slice of Heaven for sure
Paddy THANKS SO MUCH for recommending Khao Soi Maesai it really was best Khao soi I’ve had in 20 years had no idea it was here .
Should of kept super dreamy or dreamy. Wavey would be good aswell
My wife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your content! I have a 125cc scooter and want to start a UA-cam channel and was wondering what editing software you’re using?! 🙏🛵
The Bamboo Bridge looked beautiful. Zelda was definitely the show stopper at Two Huts. 🙂
I think so too!
Paddy..nothing to worry about..the squeak is the calipers piston and the back of the disc pads …just need to put some copper ease between the back of the pads so the metal to metal doesn’t squeak..it’s normal ..it’s nothing wrong with your brakes..always use the front brake ..not rear unless you need to stop in an emergency .

haha yeah I am slowly seeing it all
you are legend
Another beautiful video, Paddy. One of the things most interesting about your vlogs are the random people you meet and these small businesses in the middle of nowhere. Truly an adventure!
Thanks mate 😌

I love seeing things back to almost normal. Pai looks like an awesome place to visit!
Yeah it's getting back to normal 😊
Hello Melissa how are you doing today?

Loving the videos, definitely helped with my planning of Asia. I’m going to Pai on the 7th of this month, I can’t wait for it!!
The young monks, a mahout and 2 elephants…. SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!🌈🌙
Really nice Vlog Paddy D , I haven’t tuned in for a while, work work work, but I’m tuned back in and looking forward to the north . Cheers mate
Your filming and editing skills are really good.

beautiful countryside. a must visit for sure. hope your new bike is good to go for your next adventure 👍
It's so quiet! I love Pai I've been there many times. And for a sleepy village it's really great for parties. Or it used to be. I'm sure it will change this winter now that Thailand is open again.
I will definitely revisit Pai later this year. I miss this place.
A must
loving pai :) brings back good memories, thank you!!
Top class as always Paddy - love the look of Pai 🤙
I start watching your videos and could not stop at all. The way you present and record your contents is remarkably unique. Keep up the good work.
This place is amazing! The nature is just breathtaking! 💕
I'm glad to see your channel has reached more than 100k subscribers now. Keep up your good work.

Amazing vlog. Great video skills Paddy. You lived the life in paradise.
"The Land Split" was always one of my favorites! Always brought home a bottle or two of the fresh juice he made..
Pai is one of my fav place. The rainy's not finished yet, be careful and stay safe.
Excellent driving scenes!
Great video as usual, beautiful scenery and views. Thanks again
❤️❤️❤️ Pai one of our favourite places. Great to see it doing so well.
♥️👍♥️
On my list towards the end of the year. Cooler weather. Great content as always.
I love your great videos Paddy! Thank you so much!

Another VW bus ✌️ It's like an Easter egg hunt within the video everytime you see one. Great video once again sir.
Thanks again Paddy. Looking forward to visit next year.
Top quality work again
Always good to go to Pai. Thanks for sharing, Paddy.
I hope you have the best time in Laos
Paddy, you have to be the best SEA vlogger at the moment, thank you.
Enjoy your days in Thailand...! cheer 🇹🇭👍🇹🇭
This takes me back. Lived in Pay for a few years, thanks for sharing

Gotta do it
I have never been as disappointed in Thailand as much as was when I went to Pai. I'd suggest going to Khao San Road and then spend the rest of your time in one of the innumerable lovely places in Northern Thailand.
Loving Zelda, Paddy! Looks like your front brake issue sorted itself out. Maybe just overheating on all those bends? Love that road too!
Fingers crossed!
Thank you so much for sharing the video Paddy ! I am planning to visit Pai in Jan 2024. Hopefully Land Split Pai is reopened by now. Good to know that there is another sunset spot beside of Two Hut. I might go to both !
Loved the vibe and the pace of this one. Hope Zelda is okay!
Hello Michelle how are you doing today
OK, I REALLLY love the hyperspeed moto sections! turns an enjoyable vlog into a sweet sabai rollercoaster!
As for the front brake issue, check the brake rotor for scraps or gouges. Your bike seems too new to need mew brake pads.
BTW, your knobby tires should do well on wet roads.
Two Huts Pai is AMAZING! I spent a lot of time hanging out there.
Zelda sounds amazing when she's on the move ✌️
Love your attitude. Love that you went for it in the rain. That's an advantage of little Zelda over those big bikes. Much easier to handle in the rain.

Love your Smooth voice bro!
I really enjoyed the little slice of Pai. Thank you.
"I hope you enjoyed this slice of Pai" - lol, good one!

That cafe by the bamboo bridge looked super nice! As usual I can hear the classic noisy American in the background lol
Were you at two huts on your providence tour? Some smokers offered up some weed to you as I remember....lol Pai was absolutely desolate your last time through town. Good to see the rebound. Great vid as always. Peace.
Yeah I did pop over there last time
Love this video & wouldn’t mind going to Pai one of these days! Kinda gives me the Haight/ Ashbury & Berkeley vibes in Northern California! Thanks for sharing this awesome video Paddy😊
Hello Marietta how are you doing today?
Going to Pai in February 2023. Renting a bike in Chiang Mai. I have you to thank for the inspiration and information necessary for this trip. Thank you!
As always, an amazing video. Did you meet up with Flora and Note?
My wife is from Dok Khamtai in Phayao. I can't wait to see Phayao again!
Beautiful! I was at 2 Huts June 2022 during the day for a beer, no one there!
Pai village so beautiful natural and nice relax 😲😊👍
Nice to see you! I remember you from the old good days when I lived in Hat Thung Wualen back in 2009 or somthing like that.
Yes! Will definitely make it there during my next trip to Thailand.
So friggin cool! Gotta make it to that area of Thailand some day.
So cool that you found the warpdrive option of your bike
I went to Pai in 2005 and it was a nice traveler village. Like Khao San in the mountains, but quieter and relaxter.
What a wonderful Thailand beautiful green rice field!!😍😍 I love this riding tour!! Thank you for sharing!!
Greeting from Korea👍👍
That bike speed in the middle for 30 seconds scared me so much !! But Pai looks amazing i gotta go over here and Chaing Mai as well . Last time I could only do the south of Thailand ,this time I am gonna try to cover the north in 2 weeks Hopefully that's enough !!

Those bike shots were so beautiful lol
Mate we went there a few days ago. Massive storm and so many trees down on the road. Pretty stressful drive but once we got to Pai the weather was lovely. Nice to chill out there for a couple of days after the stress of term 1 at school.
Pai to Mai Hon Song, threw the mountains not the highway is an amazing days ride. Many little villages
Remember. 75% braking on the front and 25% on the back that’s what they are designed to do
I've just got back from Doi Chang, and I loved it up there. I was a little too adventurous though. I decided to take a gamble and head to Doi Mae Mon, which is highly recommended (when you get there) but don't take the scenic route along the mountains because on my 125 Honda Click the journey is a rollercoaster of emotions. That was cute for a little
Village you have stopped.
I think you love mae hong son province like me. You keep going back so often 🙂. I gotta make my way there soon. Cheers.
It's so good!
Super beer spot the new bar with a view, the whole raod to get to Pai is still on the bucketlist, one day 😏

Nice one Paddy 👍
