Same thing used to be with darius e where you could rarely grab people back after they flashed away from you. Probably the same all the way back when he could grab people after he used teleport.

i hate this mechanic, since i usually save the important abilities as long as possible. Also the bluetooth autos which go trough even if you flash them.
Remember the Darius lvl 1 grab under fountain penta?
@Pipsa Possu they arent bluetooth autos, if the auto animation begins flashing doesnt matter, thats intended and thats how it should be. It would be op to be able to cancel the other persons auto
Tfw Riot making a shitty game is actually a buff to certain champions. I wonder who else has tick-based interaction oddities like that. Darius E and Kled Q are the first that come to mind.
Kled Passive mounting, all hook based abilities, Tristana and Ezreals jump still cast while cced and some more
@@Gewaldrocm Trist W is meant to be that way and Ez E has more to do with the fact that it's a blink. Now Ez E overriding pulls seems to be unintentional

Aatrox w is different, it works like ur got ult.
Once the timer goes of there comes a small chain out of the center and once that chain starts you will get pulled no matter what.

Old Akali E was the same, was hilarious to see people flash when at 1% hp and instantly die because I had casted E before.

Her E was very similar to Zed's E but with a bit more AoE radius and locked in place while casting.

It is not tick rate. No. It's just that the last "tick" or range check happens earlier than the pull itself.

This isn’t true you need to flash when it’s about to pull and you won’t get pulled
"end of it" means when it is about to end. Game checks several times if you are in range or not and after a certain point no matter what it will pull you.
