Singapore Vegan - 100% Vegan Bak kut teh at Genesis Vegan Restaurant, Havelock 2

First time I ever tried this dish was back more than 2 decades ago. I wasn’t a vegetarian at that time, so I had the non-vegetarian version. I fell in love with it, and so when I saw it on the menu, without second thoughts, I ordered it.
Bak kut teh, from what I learned, is a dish cooked in broth. It is popularly served in Malaysia and Singapore. The name literally translates from the Hokkien dialect as "meat bone tea".
According to Yahoo Life Singapore, “Genesis Vegan Restaurant was started by 3 female acquaintances (a dietician, a retired nurse and a retired teacher) in 2006 who had the common goal of living healthily.” [1]
I travelled to Singapore to find vegetarian and vegan restaurants, and this is one of the many that I have found through my extensive search on the internet. I have yet to visit other places on my list.
Genesis Vegan Restaurant is very easy to find; it is located inside Havelock 2, at the basement 1 floor. And, just as I mentioned in the video, don’t be like me where I almost searched every inch of the building, just when I was about to give up, I found it.
