Love this channel. Someone should create a reality tv of pro and amateur furniture designers similar to Project Runway.
If those chairs were available in Miami, they would be sold in a heartbeat! Gorgeous! And Rupert’s mirrors are fabulous! Kudos to him for preserving the planes. And I adore the clever idea of turning the image of the box front into fabric for cool pillows!
Good on you Rupert!! Nuff respect!!! Ah love ya!!
Those wooden planes are very highly collectible. Almost any woodworker would refuse to destroy them, even to make something else.
I'm not a fan of Rupert's designs, but I got a bit choked up with his nostalgic desire to keep those planes AND use to create something equally nostalgic.
Unreal the history these British people throw in the tip! Those planes sell for big money!!
Picture frames. How pathetic, huh? Sad…
Those chairs are stunning! If I were furnishing a modern house I would snap them up in a minute and commission another four. Well done!
Saving the planes was a joy to my heart. The carpenter was then linked to three generations of wood workers.
So glad Rupert gained those planes for future use - I agree it would have been dreadful to change their identity. Those chairs were amazing but Sara's cushions were a real disapointment and I couldn't see the point of making them....................
Ohh my goodness I have just found my new favorite program
THANK YOU 😊
the CHAIRS are outstanding. Please provide updates on later sales
This is my favorite episode...so out of the box creativity
trust me if I lived there I would grab them up instantly. They are absolutely fabulous off-the-wall gorgeous and so cool love love love them. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t sell right away.
150 pounds per chair
Pre- Covid!
O dear, she took the beer bucket also 😂
Nice video! Love this show!❤
Wow.... Those chairs are horrid! 😅 Grossly overpriced... And he didn't even do the set of 6!
What happened to the other two chairs
He couldn't do 6 due to the budget over run. He either returned them, tossed them or kept them.
I'd like to think he did finish them to sell later on.
@@alanatolstad4824 Suspect he kept them...
