I Love Jay. I've been watching him on The Repair Shop. He's more of a Supervisor , but he's a man full of Compassion and always full of respect for the items and people that come through his shop. Love ❤Y'all to bits. What Hoss did to the radio was magic, Jay's Table , he hated having to paint it, but the mold stains were there to stay.
Even oxalic acid may not do the trick to remove the mold completely. Different countries allow and prohibit the use of different chemicals and products.

So shocked that the beautiful sewing machine went into the skip. That was a gem and far better than the plastic computerized models today.
I’m still SMDH. Why didn’t she take all of it? The case, records…. ?
TOTALLY agree.
I have been binge watching this ALL DAY LONG& I am LOVING IT!
I love Jay Blade! His is not my style but he does have amazing ideas! Bless!
I agree about that sewing machine. After all it was working. I could.have.used it.
Yes so sorry to think it was thrown away !
Yes, incredible.
I think all three are delightful
Oxalic acid to clean up the table and molds does wonders !
I am always shocked that there do not appear to be “Reuse” buildings at garbage dumps in the U.K.
All good! So much better a fate for all 3 items.
I loved the music in this episode. And, the finished products of all 3!
the radio was sold too cheap!😢
such a unique piece, in such a condition!
500£!
Can't believe she didn't take the sewing machine. If it still worked, she probably could just have sold it online.
Yes… very sad it went to waste.
just amazing.
Surely they could put an add in the local newspaper and give the stuff away for free. In south africa they would have jumped at the sewing machine
Yes, oxiylic acid good.
Oh my gosh, here in the states I take my old pickup truck to the recycle center
But what happened to the sewing machine and records?😢
I think Arthur alluded to the fact that they did get dumped because Sarah took only the radio. Sad.
@@alanatolstad4824 Very sad. Surprising they weren’t resold or donated as-is.
Whatever Jay would have painted it anyway.
Honestly speaking, you would have to be high to be throwing away some of those vintage items. That dude with the radio and sewing machine is a plonker
That sewing machine had not even been used. I am ashamed of her for not taking it!
Agreed.
Jay you could have used Oxalic Acid to bleach it. Such a shame!
If you expect to place that in a living room, what about black. It will fit in better.🎉
Is there a reason why they Jay can't use Bleach to get the stains out the table top?
Bleach feeds mold

Why did he not try to reglue the crack? US furniture flippers would have glued that.
Surely it is sellable, not sale-able...???
Old. Seen it
Yes, don't use paint on wood that beautiful 😢
Rude man calling Sarah a rubbish burglar. She saves things from landfill. Provides work for artisans . Gives cash to people. All good.
Table was good as is. Paint ruined it.
