@@prettyingreen I did it... And I'm so dead 💀 I let it soak in warm water for some hours because the soil was literally compressed... I expected it to be at least four separate plants, but it actually is just one - with over 20 huge and many small leaves. It took me 25l of 20mm leca and quite a big amount of the smaller one.... Yes, I'm really dead 😂

I keep all my plants in leca and in glass with no drain hole or anything
I rarely do water changes, and I only fertilize about twice a year. One of my most prolific plants has never had a water change and the container is completely covered in alge.
It's never stopped growing and I've had to cut it back several times over the last 2 years.

Leca is literally the lowest matinence medium i use, idk where the critics are coming from. Even some people who have actually tried it, have said its too much work. How? What could they be doing to complicate it so much?
Gorgeous adansonii btw- ive got one in a vase with lava rock(instead of leca, it looks awesome in a clear vessel) and a clear acrylic support stick, and im loving watching each new leaf come out larger than the last.

Also would you mind recommending a good aquaponic fertilizer that isn't too expensive? I heard you could use Miracle-Gro so I tried and failed. Killing my plants. Also I have tried hydrogen peroxide for a boost of oxygen and killed my fucking plants I had for YEARS! 😣😭😡

Hey!! Yeah we’re actually a family owned plant company and we’ve developed a fert and Leca kit that works great and is affordable! Here is the overview video on LECA and the fertilizer: ua-cam.com/video/uuXVajqbRC0/v-deo.html
And here is our kit: prettyingreen.com/products/leca-kit?_pos=1&_sid=621815a9f&_ss=r
You don’t have to buy from us. Our nutrients are a modified version of General Hydroponics but includes pH down and Vitamin B1.
When you use peroxide do 1oz of 3% per gallon of water. Always use diluted, or spot treat for 10-15 seconds then rinse off with water!
      I hope this helps!!

If you have a microfiber rag like an automotive one you can loosely wrap a strip of that around the node. Then put it in leca with the strip dipping to the bottom of the tank. I find most things root pretty readily like that. That bit of rag is not removable tho.
