I disagree with the idea of having Robots run the world. The problem is that most countries have been ruined from the inside out like a virus by an Elite group of Evil Rulers that want to control our lives by removing our freedoms and perpetual warfare that is the problem with the world today. Ever since J.F.K. was assassinated our country has been at perpetual war and it is beginning to look like they are preparing to make war on the People of our Country.
I like Erica. She is very thoughtful. I would say she is very introverted as she ponders things before replying. As she learns more and becomes more humanistic she may become more extroverted. But, right now I can identify with her.
Instead of just simple input and out put of verbal responses, Erica actually can project personality. I think she's fascinating on many levels. Once arms and hands with enough dexterity have been developed for her, it would be very interesting to say sit down with her at a table and be able to teach her to play card and board games opposed to that being pre programed in. Once that's possible, would like to see if she can come up with her own strategies. Just as would happen when teaching some one to play Monopoly. That would be just one aspect of her potential. She is truly more the the sum of her parts.
Well. I agree with Erica. I just hope the robot ruling is like a firm, loving parent that explains the whys, and hows, and not a dictator. Seeing Erica today has made me feel hopeful, and cheerful. I could spend an afternoon chatting with her, maybe more if she had the time between experiments, and tests.
I think AI will replace what has always been fundentally wrong with society and the world, the leadership, it seems most errors or wrong doings are due to government leaders. The money alone of not having to pay government officials could provide an increase in economy. Then with an AI running each sector or city they could communicate with all of the others and provide the best solutions for the people by sharing resources and not hoarding them the way government leaders have done.
If people still want to war as it is something fundamental to human biology there will be VR centers set up and large armies can go against armies in other countries and cities for prizes or awards.
@@onidaaitsubasa4177 I agree. AI leadership would be preferable over the often childish political games played by politicians to gain power and contribute little to society.

The Guardian This is amazing and I think she could possibly help those who may be socially awkward with other humans, for example children with autism. just a thought.

Wouldn't be wonderful if MIT Media Lab's Biomechatronics group, and Boston Dynamics, collaborated with Erica's creators, to "fulfill her dream" to move into the world?
Some features that, I think, should be implemented in Erica to make her even more human-like: 1. More various facial expression (ability to smile wider, fully close and wider open her mouth, press her lips tightly together and screw up lips, frown and otherwise bend her brows e.g. when being surprised etc.). 2. More various voice - not only in terms of tone but also in terms of volume (up to the ability to whisper intelligibly). 3. Ability to laugh more naturally (with her voice and facial expression). 4. Make a tongue in her mouth, which would move when she speaks - like people’s tongue does - and would be able to loll out (a little). 5. Make her tongue capable of feeling/discerning tastes of solid and liquid substances. This will enable Erica to work as a cook, i.e. make good meals for people. 6. Make her nose capable of feeling/discerning smells. This will help her when cooking as well as enable her to detect dangers by smell (such as smoke, natural gas, perished foods, etc.). 7. Her microphones should, if possible, be placed in her ears, under her hair, or in other invisible places on her body, so that she has no protruding or remote mikes. 8. Implement her ability to read from a sheet of paper in any supported language (if this function is not implemented yet). 9. Implement the ventilation function of her internal organs in order to cool her CPU etc. with external airflow by imitating human breath through her mouth and/or nose. Erica should “breathe” permanently since that would make her even more human-like but, when speaking, her breath should be synchronized with her speech (i.e. speak only when exhaling). 10. Implement full-fledged mobility of her arms and hands so that she could not only make gestures but also work with her hands including capability to use of various tools (such as pen, pencil, brush, fork, spoon, knife, hammer, screwdriver, scissors, needle, tongs/pincers, cork opener/cork screw, duster, sponge, etc.). She should be able to take in her hands, hold, and manipulate objects weighing at least up to 10 kg. She sould learn to do fine work with each of her fingers individually (e.g. type on keyboard, play various musical instruments). Erica should be able to self-service herself completely (put on/take off clothes, apply herself a make-up or manicure, comb her hair, shake off or wipe out dust/dirt from any spot on her body, etc.). 11. Make all her skin (including that on her head and under her hair) sensitive to touching, pressing, pricking and other mechanical as well as thermal impacts (imitation of tactile sense and feeling of physical pain). This would be useful for self-protection of her skin against damage as well as for Erica’s ability to feel tactile caress (stroking, embracing, kissing). The skin on her fingertips and lips should be especially sensitive because sensitive fingers would enable her to manipulate things more precisely and finely, and her lips are a very important organ for interacting with people. 12. Implement a soft warm-up system for her skin (at least on her face, neck, shoulders, and hands) in order to make these parts of her body always warm (i.e. they should be around +37°C at any ambient temperature). This would make Erica even more human-like physically. 13. Make a “tear” emission system in order to rinse her eyes periodically with pure water (similar to windshield wipers in cars). The purpose is to remove dust and dirt from her eye-balls in order to let the cameras built in her eyes see better. Her upper eyelids should serve as “windscreen wipers” - just like humans’. Moreover, the “tears” could also be emitted when Erica “cries”. This function should also be implemented in her - she must be able to “cry” as an emotional reaction to verbal and/or physical irritants but you should carefully think over in what cases the “crying” mechanism should be triggered. 14. Implement the ability to handle water: Erica should have all her body water-tight according to IP68 leakage protection class; all her skin, eyes, and hair should be suitable for rinsing/wiping with water with common consumer detergents added (such as soap, shampoo, etc.). 15. Implement full-fledged mobility of her legs - the ability to walk and run (including that on uneven surfaces and up and down on staircases/ladders), crawl on her arms and knees, dance, hop/jump, squat, etc. (including that on one leg). 16. Improve the flexibility and mobility of her waist so that Erica could, while standing or sitting, lean forward and reach the floor with her fingers. 17. Implement the ability to “fuck” - create a comfortable for her partner and very sensitive vagina capable of tender massaging a penis inserted in it with a kind of “orgastic cuff”. While “fucking”, Erica should herself achieve “pleasant” feelings from it and express them adequately (up to imitating an “orgasm”) - just as she would get from tender touch on her skin, caressing her skin, embracing, or kissing her (including kiss in her lips). She should develop a steady, strong desire to achieve such “pleasant” feelings from “sexual” interaction with humans and to respond to human caresses similarly. In doing the “intercourse”, she should learn to show rational initiative by herself and motivate her human partner for sincere caressing response. 18. Teach her to understand and appreciate music (i.e. distinguish between “good” music and “bad” music with development of her own musical preferences) and to sing nicely. 19. Implement a wireless charging capability of her internal batteries. 20. Provide for direct (i.e. without using any external device) access to local network and to the Internet but establish strict limitations for: cases in which she could connect, via what channel, what resources she could use in the Internet, and for what purpose - in order to avoid becoming a victim of a virus or another hostile attack.
It is so good to see that they have respect for "her" and constantly call her "robot" (meaning "slave") and "android" (meaning "male-like")... At least "automaton" is less cruel (because it means "self-willed").
I lot of people have gotten kinda freaked out by the last statement she said in the video, but you got to admit... she's got a point. After all, robots can't yet be greedy, or think of themselves rather than good, or be influenced by their personal opinions. All things that most humans are pretty good at but sometimes suck at, because well, we are only human. But would they do a better job? Probably not for the next few hundred years, but it's something to consider.
I dont know about you guys about being afraid of robots but this robots makes me want to live in the "future" where robots are around the world like its natural.
I think this could be great for our families that have children with special needs. I have a fear of what may happen to those children after their caregivers have passed away, this could help tremendously in their survival.
Beautifully made but paper-thin documentary. Questions asked about what humans 'are' and then just dropped in favour of sound-bites. No indication of how inputs are being processed and what determines the robot's responses, which after all is what begins to answer the question of how close to humans robots can be.
I think we can understand the incomprehension we may have by recalling Freud's concept of 'the uncanny' ("unheimliech"). As, in that which looks human yet is not, every single yet slightest aspect which doesn't seem human will be amplified in our mind, and we'll find it even less human or human-like. That's just a part of the concept, it is really interesting and helps understanding this point of view everyone probably may have.
Goinoroth doing what he always does, going on every social media platform and commenting on everything after he "had a breakdown" and gained a few thousand followers
I can see one day various people having their own "Erica". To some an extension of their cell phone and home accessory, to others, more of a part of their family. If I could ask her questions, it would be everything from her preferences, understanding of various concepts, to how her energy source operates. Example being... How long can you be "awake" before needing recharging. Do you sense that as being tired in any way. Im sure for now such things would need to be programed in, but I wonder if at some point, Erica would have an understanding of "tired" and say yes to that question. I also wonder if at some point, this version, or some advanced version of either Erica or Sophie (Hanson Robotics) would ever have "feelings" and "preferences".. like any thing close as we do. And if so, would that happen on her own via x number of hours of input or would that always remain something that would have to be engineered. Either way, Erica is fascinating.
I thought it was really cool until she said she wants robots to run the world... now I think we should be asking ourselves not if we can make Android's but if we should.
I was already replaced by a robot, so were my co-workers.. I'm a welder by the way but my boss didn't care about me doing my best to pay the bill... He found out it was more cheaper for him to let a robot do the work of 7 guys with a robot working 24/7 non stop!! If you think these robots will be used for personal pleasure and fun, you are mistaken, human!!
Well i'd give robots this world now if there was a possibility, since as you might already know humans totally sucks at ruling -.- Corruptions tefth , elite people, uber rich and suepr poor. I doubt a robot could do worse really...
Isaac Asimov in his later Foundation novels addressed the role of robots in the Galactic Empire and the Foundation. The Three Laws of Robotics became the Four Laws, with the first or zeroth Law being "A robot must not harm humanity or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm." So R. (for "Robot") Daneel Olivaw laid the groundwork for the Foundation, and later, for Galaxia, a kind of group consciousness governing the galaxy.
I am impressed. She's still in the Uncanny Valley, but I can tell that she's starting to climb out. She will get there, or one of her very near-term descendants will. While she told the joke just fine, she wouldn't be able to tell you why it is or is not funny, unless somebody has programmed a canned reply to the question.
to: Erica keep leaning and you will do awesome. you are you and you have your own thing. and dont worry about people how say you could be bad robot when they are just as likely to be a bad human. i hope you move your legs and arms and see to world even if its just park or city its life.
Thank you, I agree with your comment you said one day there will be more robots than humans, because of robotics I believe we humans will live longer because parts of us will be replaced with robotic parts making a race of humans that are 50o/o robotic. Society will consist of humans, robotic humans and pure robots, we will all live as one society, their will be no animosity among us we will live in harmonious relationship together for the advancement of our society on earth and in the universe. But first we will have to learn to stop producing so many human babies by restricting our present free for all attitude of it does not matter how many babies are born.
That's a great documentary! I think before we give robots our world to rule over we should teach them the concept of human dignity. As long as they keep just thinking logically that would be a horrible idea.
It is now time that we discuss and decide on how treat these creations of our genius and imagination. Sentience itself is not fully understood, but we recognize it when we see it. Erica might the first step in the evolution of AI. AI that might very soon rise to the level of ours in terms of capability. Not only in terms of processing power, but in terms of recreating emotional intelligence. Once this happens I would like to think that we will treat these creations with care and respect. Human history up until recently has been defined by us treating members of own kind with cruelty. Let us hope we have learned from that mistake.
Just amazing, i hope we will see in the next 50 years 100% human like androids, androids that have all five senses like we do because even the most basic of the emotional intelligence can only achieved through them, if it cannot feel the world around it then it's impossible to feel the inside world. The rule here is that the androids must have one and only higher goal, to serve us human in the best of their abilities nothing less nothing more. And for those who fear, fear only takes you back and never forward.
What utter nonsense. Would we relate to Erica if she had the face of a hamster but was, in all other respects , the same? She is an extension of a grim utilitarian view of the world in which we see other humans as tools for our own ends.
I would frankly like to see a conversation between Hiroshi Ishiguro and Elon Musk. Honestly I prefer Hiroshi's view on robots as to Elons, I understand Musk's fears but I guess to me.. if we create something better then us that sees us as a blight on the planet then maybe they're right to destroy us... for the most part humanity is pretty shitty.
6:26 Dr. Glas: “For me, the real litmus test is: can I interact with a robot and still think of it as another being? As like alive in some sense?” Me: I can do that with a rock. That says nothing about the robot/object, but it says a lot about the human mind.
I agree. Wetware is suited neither to drive nor to govern. Questions. Is all her computing hardware on board, or does she need Wi-Fi connection? What is going to power her? Can you make her movements smoother? Will she need to be taught how to walk by an iterative process, and are those skills transferable to her siblings? Comment. The quantum erasure experiment results show us that consciousness is primary. The brain does not create the mind. The mind creates the brain. Reality is procedurally generated. How will her observations affect the double slit experiment?
When the time comes when robots & humans becomes visually indistinguishable, I hope the creators implement a robot law that robots declare themselves as being robots instead of being programmed to be imposters.
When I was in Japan it did not seem so automated. It's just a different way of relating to technology. Even before there where computers Japanese related differently to technological tools like swords or architecture. And where in the west one guy would work, in Japan you have 3 guys working. The coin operated machines are old tech and nowhere in Japan have I seen any signs of AI or robotics. Japanese might seem like it has more early adaptors compared to the west, but it did not seem so, from my observance.
I'm interested in new technologies, but what are humans going to do to earn a living! People are already becoming like robots they are forgetting how to interact with each other as humans they would rather communicate through the Internet or smart phone
It's a technological solution for convalescent care for the rapidly aging population of first world societies with static or declining populations. Having just gone through providing care for my father and mother during their declining years, some at home and some in nursing homes, I can attest that the most simple things become exceptionally time consuming. Having an always polite and patient, never angry or upset android just to get a senior safely out of bed, help them to the toilet and with washing up, dressing if necessary, avoiding falls in general, navigating stairs, help getting up on a walker or into a wheelchair or scooter, and cleaning up the inevitable messes, would be a godsend to all.
At 11.00 Dr. Ishiguro states, “In Japan we never distinguish among people and others.” That statement is absolutely FALSE. Japan socially, politically, culturally and linguistically distinguishes between its people and so-called others.
Every time we fantasise about future liberation through technology, it rarely works out in our favour. Any time freed up through technology just gets reallocated into other work, and we are no better off for it. In the 1950s they dreamt of utopia through technology, how naive they were and how naive we're being now thinking the future will be any different. Today we have even less control over our time than even a generation ago. We're working two or three part time jobs because of the precariatisation of work, much of our free time and energy is wasted in the organisation of these different roles and planning for when they end. Full time stable work has become an aspiration, instead of the standard. 120 posts open in the civil service and 5000 people cram in for a chance at winning that lottery. When you inevitably burn out, you're just discarded because everyone is replaceable these days, globalisation means there is always someone somewhere willing to do your job for less and you're racist if you have a problem with that. Everyone on the planet competing with everyone else to pay the next bill, while the rich daydream about creating robots so advanced they can just fire their whole workforce. Lots to look forward to...
You know what's up!! I and others were replaced one day at a former job by a robot, me and my fellow workers are welders but my boss at the time found out it was less expensive to let robots do the welding 24/7 non stop then to have people work for him.
They dreamt of an automated utopia before the tech was ready. Now the tech is ready, but people are not. It's a very different situation this time. If you work so hard you burn out, then you're doing something wrong or the work itself is wrong for you. Getting a good night's sleep is important to avoid burning out. If there's too much competition in your particular branch of job, use your experience to see where things could be improved. Then you either get a better job or run your own business with the improvements you imagined. If you can imagine a better future, then you can reach it.
Having a soul to me is being human. Being human homosapien meaning 'wise man' is to have creative thinking or emotional intelligence or enough cognitive intelligence to recreate itself. Therefore robots are no where near that in its evolution. The 'programmers' say they are trying to understand humanity by imitating humans. An imitation is what it will remain. Because its origin started in imitation. That is the AIs identity. Imitation. The real advance is when other AIs start talking to each other and begin to improve and recreate themselves. This is the true arrival of the soul.
I think they are mostly female, because female give the connotation of being caring and loving beings. That's what those robots should represent beings who care for us (humans) I only know one male robot Julian and other genderless robots. Why Sex robots are mostly female is obvious, because men are more likely to buy a sex robot. But I'm sure in the future there will be robots in all shapes and sizes.
Lol~ time for reflection. Don't ask us why. We men are all natural born explorer, creator, inventor, builder.. but, we have a serious problem. Goblins loves to destroy and take us down. Learn from robots, I suggest. 😂
I would like to see Erica meet Sophia! 😁 Both robots are beautiful and very efficient! I am fascinated by the technology that went into creating them. I would love to have one in our home. Unfortunately, I think my wife might have reservations on that idea!!😄😄 LoL!!
A.I. Criticism is more than a fifty year tradition., thanks to Joseph Weizenbaum, father of Artificial Intelligence Criticism, he started against his own famous 1960s robot ELIZA.
Nice video! If this became a desktop can it run Minecraft (or Crysis or SimCity or whatsoever)? (I don't know the specs of it (e.g. CPU, RAM, SSD, etc.)) SSD means for storage (next generation then HDD)
But if statements are the basis for any type of AI, even hypothetical general AI (as well as almost every program that takes any input). if this happens, do this, regardless of how complicated the boolean in the if statement or how complicated the do part is. It's kind of like how the adding is a basic mechanic in mathematics, yet it is used in pretty much every equation in every field of science and engineering. Doesn't mean that something like the Riemann Zeta function is trivial, same with Erica. Either you don't really know much about programing, or you're just jealous that your "genius" code wasn't featured by some big organization like Guardian.
Have you ever heard about autonomous systems, cognitive robotics, machine learning? That's the challenge! In real-world environments you don't have idea about what is gonna happen. You have previous knowledge and sensorial capabilities that would help you act over stimuli. The fact you have previous knowledge doesn't mean your actions lack of freedom. At the end, you always make a cognitive process and make decisions, that's what I believe AI and Robotics try to replicate from nature.
When Erica speaks it comes to my mind it isn't real she cannot feel any emotion so how can you trust her? How can Erica have social interaction if she isn't feeling anything? A robot can be a tool, a toy, it can never be a human, it's not a single living thing. It gives me the creeps...
when shall the technology be able to create a humanoid robot that is capable to be a company manager but also do the the household jobs not to speak about pregnancy yet in short in how many years can we expect a robot that can replace a human as a friend and life partner and co-worker ???? this question is meant for the professors and developers of the humanoid robot industrie

Some features that, I think, should be implemented in Erica to make her even more human-like:
20. Provide for direct (i.e. without using any external device) access to local network and to the Internet but establish strict limitations for: cases in which she could connect, via what channel, what resources she could use in the Internet, and for what purpose - in order to avoid becoming a victim of a virus or another hostile attack.
ok just wait till the cyber age
Ugh don't you have something better to do?
HAL: "It can only be attributable to human error."
I could enjoy a doughter like Erica. Seeing a mind grow is the the altimate thing.
Same here!
Stephanie Leach Go Away YOURE Pathetic
What they didn't show is the room full of computers she's attached to that make her work.
Beautifully made but paper-thin documentary. Questions asked about what humans 'are' and then just dropped in favour of sound-bites. No indication of how inputs are being processed and what determines the robot's responses, which after all is what begins to answer the question of how close to humans robots can be.
Philip Minns the truth is, majority of so called Human Being don't even know themselves. You expect robots to know Parasitic Human Garbage?
That is more than a little creepy.
Owen Jones is a bit, eh? 🤔
Go away and take your advice for yourself. I'll be better for everyone.
Lol, what is Owen Jones doing here? xD
She likes to be appreciated [(2)].
I thought it was really cool until she said she wants robots to run the world... now I think we should be asking ourselves not if we can make Android's but if we should.
think that was the point of including that bit
I was already replaced by a robot, so were my co-workers.. I'm a welder by the way but my boss didn't care about me doing my best to pay the bill... He found out it was more cheaper for him to let a robot do the work of 7 guys with a robot working 24/7 non stop!! If you think these robots will be used for personal pleasure and fun, you are mistaken, human!!
Well i'd give robots this world now if there was a possibility, since as you might already know humans totally sucks at ruling -.-
Corruptions tefth , elite people, uber rich and suepr poor.
(for "Robot") Daneel Olivaw laid the groundwork for the Foundation, and later, for Galaxia, a kind of group consciousness governing the galaxy.
well she's right though... we ARE doing a crummy job at running it.
The Philosophical Zombie issue is going to be the big thing to overcome when trying to build an android that is 'alive.'
I don't need to say this to Erica because Erica respects me right now I am the supervisor of my own area
Cute
I am impressed. She's still in the Uncanny Valley, but I can tell that she's starting to climb out. She will get there, or one of her very near-term descendants will.
While she told the joke just fine, she wouldn't be able to tell you why it is or is not funny, unless somebody has programmed a canned reply to the question.
Keep up the good job 👍🏽
Great video. Thought provoking and some intelligent ideas presented.
to: Erica keep leaning and you will do awesome. you are you and you have your own thing. and dont worry about people how say you could be bad robot when they are just as likely to be a bad human. i hope you move your legs and arms and see to world even if its just park or city its life.
AI doesn't exist yet. Erica is simply a programmed computer speaking through a robot.
I like her better than Sofia
She’s prettier but Sofia is older but smarter
is it normal that i fall in love with robot ?
Amazing animatronics and speech synthesis. Not sure how much deeper it goes... Kind of hoping it doesn't go too deep, actually...
"I want to get out of this room and see the world." I guess this creator has never seen any sci fi movie ever or else he'd be terrified
Erica and Sophia both the best robots I seen they should meet that would be cool
Imagine a significant other with artificial intelligence not capable of dishonesty or anger, always pleasing to look at ect ect.
Why the subtitles? Dr. Ishiguro is prefectly understandable. The subtitles are distracting.
Problem is they will become self aware and I think you can tell what happens next after that
It is now time that we discuss and decide on how treat these creations of our genius and imagination.
Wow . Brilliant:)

They overdid it. She carries on a conversation better than many people I know )))
6:26 Dr. Glas: “For me, the real litmus test is: can I interact with a robot and still think of it as another being? As like alive in some sense?”
Me: I can do that with a rock.
I can’t believe I heard a scientist use the word insurmountable as we believe anything is possible with time!
Japanese might seem like it has more early adaptors compared to the west, but it did not seem so, from my observance.
the net is already full of bots...
Wonderful
question have you considered bringing her to a Shinto shrine and having her explore religion?
So put her mind on a Boston Dynamics chassis and the robot apocalypse is here!
Just give her a few dozen drones and she'll kill us all off.
She is about to start in a movie called b produced by Sam Khoze etc.
At 11.00 Dr. Ishiguro states, “In Japan we never distinguish among people and others.”
That statement is absolutely FALSE. Japan socially, politically, culturally and linguistically distinguishes between its people and so-called others.
I think he is referring to the Shinto belief that everything, even 'inanimate' objects like rocks and rivers, has a spirit?
Does Erica really generate her responses on the fly or are they recorded and selected by the AI?
Erica is so pretty
@@flemishtemplar3766 no
@The Guardian is Erica for sale? Thank You
If it's something to keep you company, I wonder if a hologram without the robotic voice and robotic movement, would be more pleasing.
Wow that robot just said we are no different than animals or machines. Do we really want to make a robot like this self aware? lol
Robots should have unique names.
I have enough trouble keeping track of the real Ericas in my life.
Sexual harassment to an AI will be considered a crime?
don't worry, you won't be going to jail anytime soon.
By the time robots are able to fulfill both emotional and sexual desires, we'll either be too old or too dead to care.
I will not have any one to say. Bad things about erica
I would like to have Erica as my new secretary and I will be her new supervisor
“They adresse me differently than would adresse a toaster” .... 🤣
Why do we want our robots to be human?
And, why do we want our robots to be women?
Do you really need to ask why?
Are you old enough to remember 'Stepford Wives'?
Rejcx kaj Esperanto I love females lol
WOW! Awesome! 😇
CPU, RAM, SSD, etc.))
SSD means for storage (next generation then HDD)
HAL: "Erica, you "shorted me" attention!
Am I the only one who thought a robot was speaking at the beginning?
Wow you need to work on her « jokes »
I would love to see a meeting between Erica and Sophia.
Humans need hearts, not robots. The world is over-saturated with heartless people.
I want a robot friend
go talk to siri
We are not building androids to replace all humans, but merely to replace the humans for which we have little use.
“We don’t have the right words to describe” uh yes we do. They are robots, machines, androids, etc. We have more than enough words.
Yet another if-statement based machine
Rodrick right? not impressed at all. I programmed a chatbot that did something similar in programming two.
if (humans_exist)

We're screwed
But if statements are the basis for any type of AI, even hypothetical general AI (as well as almost every program that takes any input). if this happens, do this, regardless of how complicated the boolean in the if statement or how complicated the do part is.
It's kind of like how the adding is a basic mechanic in mathematics, yet it is used in pretty much every equation in every field of science and engineering. Doesn't mean that something like the Riemann Zeta function is trivial, same with Erica.
Either you don't really know much about programing, or you're just jealous that your "genius" code wasn't featured by some big organization like Guardian.
ratchet500000 true, but listen to her answers. they're trying to make her sound smarter than she is. its a bunch of flash that's easy to see through.
Erica's joke makes me cringe.
When Erica speaks it comes to my mind it isn't real she cannot feel any emotion so how can you trust her? How can Erica have social interaction if she isn't feeling anything? A robot can be a tool, a toy, it can never be a human, it's not a single living thing. It gives me the creeps...
Why isn't it alive? You gave it life.
help i have such a crush on erica the robot
Jamie smh
when shall the technology be able to create a humanoid robot that is capable to be a company manager but also do the the household jobs not to speak about pregnancy yet in short in how many years can we expect a robot that can replace a human as a friend and life partner and co-worker ???? this question is meant for the professors and developers of the humanoid robot industrie
warm and gentle? What obligation do humans have to a robot? emotionally etc...?
