It's nice to see someone so involved with past hit records embrace electronic music as something totally positive an innovative.

This is a really inspiring vid. I'm guilty of being a music snob myself, especially towards pop music. True creativity is taking adventurous risks and not givin' a crap about what it fits into. You just enjoy the ride.

I agree with what he said about having an open mind with all types off music. But I think that the reason I enjoy older music or live recorded, is because how much more talent it takes to not only create a live riff or drum beat. But to record it on time and make it sound perfect. Its such a tedious task. And on top these artists have to perform live. Not just cueing things on time but actually playing notes and chords and melody's for every single song during the whole live performance.

I enjoyed daft punks album because they used mainly live performances to record their new songs. Even the synths like Pink Floyd did back in the day. I appreciate Pink Floyd because if you hear a clock buzzing and ticking to a beat they sat down and tried recording that clock to the exact time. I probably wouldn't do that with tech now but I still try to use live recording as much as possible. I'm no Pink Floyd though...

what a surprise - avicii and guetta now working with Nile, that wouldnt have anything to do with Daft Punk working with him first by any chance would it? naaa must be purely coincidental ; )

i'm not knocking Nile he's awesome - but i can say with confidence that if Daft Punk hadnt iworked with Nile on their latest album - Avicii and Guetta would not be collaborating with him now. Take from that what you will!
