An amazing guitar player, a wonderful composer and arranger, a marvelous human being with humour and kindness... Who could deny that this guy is one of the nicest musicians in history?

This man (Nile) inspired me to play. His style is distinctively in a category by itself. I'll never forget a statement he made on the British produced program ' Rock School'. "I use to lock my self in the room for hours and mock banjo rhythms". He took that rhythm and put his name on it. One of the greatest music producers for all time. This was an awesome interview.

We used to hang at the recording studio, GOOD TIMES & many great memories. Madonna, Bowie, Jager, Hall & Oats, Prince...etc limos, Studio 54, The Limelight, The Red Parrot & many after hour venues. We lived in the same building 60 E 66th St. Lincoln Towers. Many orders of chicken with red curry sauce, from the Bangkok. KEEP SHINING YOUR LIGHT NILE! Namaste!
    Purely,
    Leslie

Nile and co. played for two hours in Nassau recently, and it went by in a flash. So, three hours? No problem. Come back soon, please.

I love Nile. But the Motown mixes of Diana Ross album are superior to his initial mixes. ☺️ remixing the tracks for release was the right move.

This new album is not that good...sorry Nile....Chicism blows it away....Sylver Logan Sharp's vocals a thousand times better....those chicks on the cover of this new one look like emaciated aliens from a graphic art novel....what's with the whistle...I'll take the ones on the first album cover anyday of the week....miss Bernard......love all of the original albums except for the non funk groove Believer.....I consider We Are Family another awesome Chic album.....the Diana Ross album as well....Norma Jean....also a Chic album...Happy Man is one of my favorite songs of all time....thanks for great music....
