This is just beautiful. I can't thank James Blake enough for yet another masterpiece. He is definitely one of my favourite artists of all time.

I’ve been fan of him. Overgrown was such a great album and a lot of his live performances were passionate. Somehow this last album lost it.. way too commercial pop sounding. Names like Travis Scott who I feel like were just there for publicity. To get the attention of those young ‘hiphop’ listeners. And not like in overgrown old school hiphop! Too bad
the real major change is probably due to the fact that he’s not living in the shadows of difficulty anymore, he’s out with people and content and happy. Such goes his music as well.
He said himself the darker place sure beautiful music comes from it as an artist, but it’s not very healthy as a person
I feel you, saw him live recently and I noticed that he's not a depressive or sad person anymore. Also he moved to LA so you got to understand that he changed his sound as he has evolved as a person and artist, and now he is moving into a different music industry. It is a very good album too, specially once when you see him performing live, he's even more passionate now.
James has been close friends with Travis for a few years now, the collab came about simply because of this, they respect each other's game and they simply wanted to make a song with a friend. James also featured on Travis' last album too
