UPDATE: PS5 IS FIXED!
I'm aware of the PS5 issues. It seems that an old build was released over there which means you guys can't matchmake/play heists. Starbreeze have said the onus is on Sony to fix this, not them, so we unfortunately just have to wait until Sony pushes an update out, which is more than likely going to be tomorrow at this rate. Sit tight, everyone!
I was mainly focusing on the tutorial at the moment, trying to get used to the controls again since it’s probably been about two months since I’ve played. Gotta say that I do wish that there was the ability to try to map the controller in a way that’s closer to the payday 2 set up that I was better with. I was kind of annoyed that I actually kept pressing the L one button and ruining the detection tutorial by accidentally throwing a grenade and also not realizing that I had a silencer available right off the bat for that tutorial. The only one I haven’t done yet is the crowd control tutorial, but overall with the other three tutorials, I thought that they were good, especially the social stealth and the detection tutorials with the problems in the combat one relating to my current weapon, loadout and the fact that I can accidentally kept throwing all of my grenades.

Hopefully it’s fixed soon bc us PS players have been done dirty by this game. We had no beta and now people who spent extra money can’t even play it 😂

I'm also pretty baffled by the lack of *really* basic choices. They said they don't want to get crazy at the start, but not even a simple black suit? We've got a fuckin' Ned Flanders outfit, and not that.
I imagine that all the companies require the base version in advance for them to even list it on their stores. Since the base 1.0 version was sent out to them there have been bugs found through beta and QA testing that have been fixed and those hot fixes have been sent to the companies to be up to date. Sony then accidentally published the base version of the game instead of the most recent version as they haven't approved it yet. These assumptions are made based off of what you have said, what starbreeze has said, and what Sony has failed to say anything about.
PS5 player here I would love to play the game but I can't been waiting since 4pm UK time it's now 10:51pm fucking joke first day of Early access is nearly over

@@wondering_hand0985No, Sony had both the old build and the recent build for the Pre-Release, Sony pushed the first onr instead and Starbreeze mentionmed it onto their Twitter, once Sony pulls their thumbs out of their *** and fix their mess.

As a Playstation player i can't tell you how upsetting this is. To start off with such a sour taste in the mouth is not a good first impression. I hope they make things right, and quickly become tons of people, including myself, are beyond upset

Maskless is the new king of stealth. While I don't think ALL heists will maskless, as long as both banks and the diamond store can, then I'm happy

When I try and press the find heist/ matchmake it doesn’t do anything nor does it do anything when I press social but I can play the tutorial. Do you know anything I can do? I’m on Xbox Series S
So i have a bug where the color for the switch is not showing up i literally cant disable the security.

so this is probably not gonna happen, but as someone who mostly plays on console I would love to play this with mouse-and-key if/when i ever get a PS5. idk if thats a thing for PD3 or not, i know its a thing for a ton of CoD games

If there’s not five snipers aiming at me and they don’t two or one shot me constantly then I don’t consider this a Payday game.
How are you able to play with the way aim assist and aiming in general is on Xbox?

The HUD looks very much similar to Payday: The Heist. Not sure if I like it yet

I mean, not really. It has no similarities other than ammo and picked up items on the bottom right and assault banner in the top middle. I guess the healthbars on the bottom left, but they look very different.

Anyone else having an issue where Hoxton just isn't available on the Character select menu?
He just doesn't show up in character menu at all but bots are still playing him :(

Nah it’s fine for me. Try verifying files. It’ll take a few minutes but it might fix it. The reason that happened might be that the hoxton files for the menu were not installed properly on your pc

@@RedArcherLiveI will be surprised if it is... ime patches seem to take at least 2 days to get through all the checks before going live. So I'm not hopeful
Sadly there isn't any deadzone setting and can't Customize the controls i play bumper jumper and i use back paddles would be nice to have the x button for one of my back paddles to keep my thumb on the thumb stick. But overall loving the game i would give it a 6 out of 10 it can use a few Adjustments still like the menu and matchmaking since it is kinda hard to find people to play with but that could be since i pre order the game so not alot of people are playing it just yet
How did you obtain that outfit?
Has the graphics improved in any way? Don’t have a problem with them at all just curious to see if they upgraded any objects or textures or anything like that since the beta build!
i’d say they’re a bit better, the heisters models are definitely quite nice
@@dawsonh420 That’s cool. I noticed now that NPC’s have panicked expressions when you take them hostage. Not sure if that was in the beta but now noticed it now. And that Unreal Engine lighting looks noice!

Graphics look much better. The SCB heist did not do the game justice, it really can look just beautiful at times
They will be upgrading to UE 5 soon (not sure if they said this or next year) which will noticeably improve the graphics. But as other have said I still think it looks really nice.

I got some issues with the game some of the loot that you could bag you could barely find or you can't see at all, somehow the guns feel hefty and realistic but yet they feel like they shoot marshmallows at the cops, there's no objective markers on anything so I get lost very easy especially in nightclub, I personally feel like some things you could do installed you should also be able to do in loud like raid the vault at the jewelry store or maybe try to find a backup crypto drive at the nightclub, also something that I don't really understand and I personally hate is the park system because it feels like an improvement but also feels like a downgrade simply because you have to rely on Rush edge and grit just for all your perks to work

who would've thought? i honestly wasn't surprised with the PS5 problems, ever since PD2 back in the day i lost all hope for them, after that i noticed these exclusive Nebula rewards for PC and Xbox only, then we have a Beta only for PC and Xbox, now we have a messed up released for PS5, the Star breeze glazers blaming sony, maybe in PD2 back then but in PD3 its completely their fault or are you telling me not releasing a beta at least was also on sony's blame?
Trust me it won't get better for PS5 players, I would give up and go to PC or Xbox if you plan on playing this game, mark my words in the long run, can't wait to see what else they'll mess up on PS5 community.

sony has been shit for 7 years now. they keep incresing their price for their online as well. xbox is just so much better since you can use gamepass on pc as well. no reason to ever buy sony products again.

Honestly I got even more hyped for the game, the customization got even better unlike payday 2 because it makes male and female more chubby for some reason the clothing was too big, payday 3 I noticed it looks way better and fitting, - And Hot :)

I can't wait for this game but I do have one question what happened to the rest of the payday gang I understand why some of them wouldn't be in this one, but having so little playable characters compared to the second one it's kind of jarring to me
Payday 2 started with just 4. All those characters got added over 6 years.
So the roster is already bigger than it was on PD2's launch.
But also, almost everyone is missing/unaccounted for. It's in the story. But basically, we don't know where a lot of the gang is, and or what's happened to them.
@@scootaloo9491 well that is fair but I would hope if the characters at least most of them from Payday 2 come back and are playable I just hope we don't have to end up paying for them like we did for Payday 2 if they make them playable in free updates I can understand I'm just a little concerned that that they might make us pay for them again and treat them like the DLC instead of like I said a free update
@@left4deadzoeylover Pretty sure that won't be the case. There hasn't been a single Character pack promised for the DLC roadmap. Pretty sure they're gonna be released for free, with their own respective skill lines.

Honestly disappointing that the ps5 version never got a beta until fay 1 of early access but it ended up being a dead build. Sucks cuz the art direction and gameplay is nice, going off of what i could play in the tutorial. But this sucks cuz the psn version is the only version i can actually play hardware and spec wise, since my laptop isn't speced up enough, and my xbox is last gen.
Im happy joy is back but this launch is gonna suck for consoles. I'll wait it out, but i can guarantee a lot of people won't and instead would have already refunded their copies by now. A dhame to see this happen. To think I got up at 10 am to play this and it to not work.
