Anyone doing this , keep in mind, if you are going to get in there to replace the valve cover and gaskets, might as well get those coils and spark plugs replaced at the same time if needed.
I watched your video on changing the coil packs. My daughters car is missing on cyl 3. Then I found that the tube seal on the valve cover can be a problem. Found your video doing it here, same as the coil pack one, but with the additional info on the valve cover. I would of been defeated if I got to the point of seeing the tube seal bad and not being prepared. Thank you for making this video. My trip to Oregon just got a little harder. I should be able to do it in an afternoon, it's pretty straightforward surprisingly.
Good morning, is that tightening and torque sequence the same for a 2004 altima? I have a leak behind the lid, did you only apply silicone to the corners ??
Yes it’s the same, it’s the same engine too, I myself have a 2006 Nissan Altima with the 3.5 and it’s the same deal here. So follow this and you shouldn’t have any problems. I know I’m not 1A Auto but I got the same thing.
Bruhhh I need to do this for my Nissan Murano and I don’t have money to pay a mechanic but then again there’s no way I cud do this there’s so much things to disconnect and I know damn well I’ll probably forget to reconnect something and fuck it up 😮💨

To replace the front cover is the same procedure?
Do you have a video of it?
One of the best do it yourself videos with clear view I saw on the Nissan Maxima Back Valve Cover.

These videos are a great help, these mechanic shops want $400 or more to this job.
You did not mentioned if the intake plenum gasket has to be replaced or use the same old gasket. Thank you for doing this video.
If it looks good you can reuse it
Much appreciated, very detailed video. Made me feel much more secure about doing the project ✌️
Can we use this video for the 2008 Nissan Quest since I heard they have the same engine types? Thanks!
Did the pcv valve come with the valve covers? I believe my pcv valve is actually part of the valve cover.
Professionally done. Thank you
+Mike Tobin Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ

Thank you very much for the information, just this weekend I am going to work them
Thank You for your help.
Perfect instructions.
I see why some mechanics don’t want to work on maxima’s
streets. Be awesome if a list of tools used in the video was provided so we could save more time.
Really. The list was given!
Can you do a lifter replacement video?
Im thinking the entire time this is being removed....not looking forward to putting all that BACK ON 😳
Is the pcv valve part of the valve cover?
What's the torque specification for 2008 Nissan Maxima se 3.5 a rod bearing cap bolt

If remove Throttlebody must be must be Relearned and there is no video that works right to reprogrammed on this maxima
It took me 10 seconds to find a video.
As long as you don't touch it with your bare hands there's no need to reprogram it.
What a noob! He didn't even clean the throttle body when he had it off!! smh
