It's all about context and your overall goals for your farm. It's also worth noting that you might not know what that context is or what your goals are for a few years... or it may all change once you get to work. The #1 must is to be flexible and don't be afraid to switch things up to fit your life. Whether it's switching animal types, number of animals, adjusting pastures and paddocks to fit your needs. It never stays the same 😊

Your cows and grass look great! I have about 18 acres of grazable property. It had been heavily overgrazed and hayed prior to me purchasing it. Currently I don’t have a perimeter fence and only have a few goats and pigs so I only graze a tiny portion. Finally got the go ahead from the wife to order my perimeter fence! Hopefully in a couple years I’ll be able to compare to what you’ve got going there! Great work and inspiring!

Choices...choices when I was advised by a dietitian I learned sometimes we have only two options poor choices and Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Rolling dam poor choices . She was referring to eating in a restaurant. It was years before I realized that grocery stores had three choices good choices, poor choices and Beaver Dam choices . I wish you all that is best for you and your girls🖖🧓👍🍀💚🌟🍀🌟💚🍀

This was a great video. I run sheep and a couple cows now but same deal, small amount of animals and small acerage. And I feel the same way, with how my pastures are setup it’s not so easy to graze that way. It’s encouraging seeing your operation and the amount of time you put in to know I’m not the only one.

Thank you. And that’s not necessarily a bad problem to have! Room for expansion. Keep up the good work
