I'm glad you were able to get some of this stuff off your chest. A lot of creators, even outside of youtubers, struggle with the balance between having a brand and maintaining their sense of identity. Where do you draw the line between making the things you like and making the things people want? There's definitely overlap in some areas but when it comes down to it here are my personal thoughts: Make what brings you the most joy and you'll always find someone who will like it. The 20 people (hypothetically) who hate it have other things to watch! Keep being you Dom and don't be afraid to put your foot down about your boundaries. ❤❤❤🎉 congrats on the big 5 Oh Oh Ohhhh baby! 🎉

For me, it’s felt liberating to just be me the past year but also nerve-wracking. Very grateful that people enjoy me for me, and everyone else who isn’t into it doesn’t need to be. 💜

The doll community has always been racist in my opinion every since Plymouth rock dolls were always white and pretty and black ones were disgusting to look at not even close to looking like a black people a character of us google lens can’t even identify from one black doll from another, but know exactly the white ones I found that strange
I’ve also seen that, it’s disheartening that something that should be fun has to be ruined by racists and other ignorant people. 😕

Hey- I have never understood why influencers get so torn up when mean people start drama and leave nasty comments, and here is why :
These platforms are authentic to a certain degree, but at the end of the day it is not real life. It’s humans sharing hobbies, and sound bites from their life. Shut your computers off and realize that words can hurt, but the people who are the protagonist don’t have lives or friends or anything other than drama to to feel RELEVANT in some way. Let’s not give them any attention because that’s what they crave the most . Silence sends a strong message that they do not deserve your time and energy.Dom ( hopefully I spelled your name correctly) keep doing what you are doing, at your pace and comfort level. Your real subscribers don’t care about the crap some cornhole said - we just want to have fun watching you talk about dolls, life and anything else that comes along .
