Thank you for the kind words. We have learned a lot about how to communicate . When you are on a boat and have nowhere to go.....this is a key to success!
Michael, we sometimes wonder if viewers hear those jokes, and or appreciate them. Glad we gave you a reason to chuckle. Thanks for the comment , it made our day!
Have you ever tried a "swell bridle" to point the bow toward the swell? It's a line from your stern cleat to anchor rode. Then let out your anchor line and the boat pivots toward the swell. Stop when it is lined up. I haven't done it personally yet but watched Searching for C-Shels on their youtube demonstrate it. Great video!
Hello Dennis we are familiar with the swell bridle, and have tried it. It does not work as well as putting out a stern anchor . But definitely better than nothing. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hello! Now that you’ve had time to experience your R25, do you wish you had purchased an R27? We are thinking of purchasing a R27. Thanks, Judy PS- we have enjoyed watching your travels.
We are happy with the R25. Julia says she doesn't need a bigger kitchen. The R25 is better for towing and according to fluid motion is themes fuel effeciant outboard model they make.
That was a great dinghy save! Were you going between 45 and 50 miles an hour to retrieve the dinghy? You were flying to get to the dinghy! Good info on tying that favorite knot that you use. That was a beautiful place at the end of the video. I enjoyed the video...as always!
I am building a similar boat for myself to do extended trips in I converted a 20 ft searay cuddy and enclosed it with stove sink its gonna be nice with the convenience of a In board outboard mercruiser its much easiser to work on if u need .
Dave, we are very happy with the canvas work. Any canvas company can build this for you if they measure from your boat.We just told them specifically where we wanted it to end and on what angle. The marina where we had it done has done other work for us that we are less than happy about. So we will not mention their name.
You guys are Great. I enjoy your videos very much. You are real and work together as a Team. That is so nice to see. 😊

“maybe a little drag!” It was the mischievous grin that almost made me spit my coffee out. Ba ha ha. Glad you got the dinghy back.

"It didn't even phase you"...."I've been married to you long enough"
so sweet!
So true!
Happy all worked out in the end! Fair winds.
Us too! thanks.
Wow sees! Dragging a dinghy anchor is something we both know about!
Yes , so true Mark....still can't believe we went that far dragging your anchor!
At least you found it. Nothing sadder than those 7:00 am Channel 16 calls, "Has anyone seen a dinghy go by?"
Oh my god! I've never heard that before . Poor souls . What a horrible time that would be!

Sounds great Stan . Safe travels and we wish you well
I think you’ve talked about this before. Who made the back enclosure for you and are you happy with it? Thank you.

@@expeditionseanest thank you very much for getting back to me.
I am exhausted too much work at 4:30 am
You got it! Thank goodness this doesn't happen too frequently
Everyone loses a dinghy.........once
Well thanks for making Julia feel better. She is hyper vigilant now!
