Hi Dianne, cardigan is lovely and I wouldn't have noticed buttons had you not pointed them out .. and they all looked the same to me😂😅 it just goes to show as long as the colours match.Looking forward to next video. Have a good week Dianne . Susan🌸🌻🌺
The buttons look great, don’t change them! I agree patterned toppers are hard to combine with other items, so I can see why you’re hesitant about it, but I love that print and colour personally 😊
I tend to make up a pattern without planning what to wear it with😮 Currently need at least 3 plain t shirts but get distracted by patterned jersey fabrics! Really like your button feature on the cardigan 😊
The sweater came out really cute! I have this pattern but haven't done it yet cause I was unsure about a fabric choice. Now that I know I can use a sweatshirt type of fabric I feel more confident
I love the Malo pattern. I'm a UK size 10 but I sized down in the pattern, I made a size 2. I alfso added 2" to the length. Im 5'5" for reference. I still managed to make it from 1 metre of fabric, not 8ncluding my ribbing. I love your Marlo, the fabric is gorgeous.
Hi Diana. That is a lovely make. I wonder if you added something from a color opposite this blue on the color wheel if it would warm it up a bit. You might like it better. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you
Hi Gayle, that is a good idea. That is why I tried the darker top with it as there is such a lot of space there in the middle, so yes I will have a look and try other colours with it. ☺
I love your Marlos. I have the pattern but have been scared to make it because of the buttonholes 😬😬😬. Do you have a sewalong? I saw a video on your one with foxes but I can't remember if it was a sewalong. Thank you!
Love your Marlo cardigan. The extra length is good. I have suitable fabric and am looking for a cardigan pattern to make a couple for the colder weather.
Hi there, I have just had a look and the link to the page is not there so maybe out of stock I have had the fabric a while. I made the other hoody about two years ago.
Hi Annette, yes i did alter the underarm. It is a wide arm piece so I pinched the pattern piece in at the center and made a little fold and this made it narrower, also made the body a tiny bit narrower and you can shape it a little as you sew the whole underarm and side seam in one. ☺
I would really like to make the Marlo. Your versions are lovely but patterned fabric is hard to style so would probably use plain. I want a really warm sweatshirting. Any suggestions? Size wise it’s quite large so would plan to size down to have it more fitted.
Hi yes you are right it is hard to style with a print. I plan to make more plain ones, I have used this ... www.minerva.com/mp/1/NT-05470-117-M/NT-05470-005 sweatshirting before for myself and for my husband it is warm and cotton so that is good. ☺
Hiya! I would love to watch your fabric saving video for the Marlo but I can't seem to find it. Could you direct me? What sorts of fabric would you recommend for it. I love the style!
Hi, I will move the video over later I have noticed it was on my other channel. Any stable knit or sweather fabric, sweatshirting or french terry works too. Have fun, ☺
I love both cardigans! The animal one is adorable.
Thank you, it will soon be time to wear it here in the UK😃
I love the mismatched buttons, they give your Marlo sparkle
Thank you Sally, I think I will leave them on. ☺
I love what you what you're wearing
Thank you so much☺

hi Susan, I always point out things that are wrong, maybe I shouldn't 😅Have a great week.
I am thinking of using my scraps for winter wear also. The Marlow is a possibility. Great vlog ❤
Thank you Anne☺

Hi Anne, I get so distracted by the fun prints! Then nothing matches, I am getting better though at filling in the gaps.
The sweater came out really cute! I have this pattern but haven't done it yet cause I was unsure about a fabric choice. Now that I know I can use a sweatshirt type of fabric I feel more confident
Hi Elizabeth, oh that is good I am glad it has inspired you, you will enjoy making it. ☺

Thank you. Yes it can be made with much less fabric, adding a rib in a different material also helps. ☺

Thank you Gillian, it is very practical so would be a good choice and also quick to make so if you need a few this is a good option. ☺
Ooh! I love that fabric - the aqua fleece with the darker blue dandelion seed. Do you know how I can find it on Minerva?
Hi there, I have just had a look and the link to the page is not there so maybe out of stock I have had the fabric a while. I made the other hoody about two years ago.
Did you alter the underarm Dianne? It's like you say a very nice cardigan and warm, so a nice item to use up scraps.
