======== 82nd All The Way LYRICS =======
In the draft of 1917, a man from Tennessee
Overseas to the trenches he went, from the land of the free
Into war he brought two things along, a rifle and his faith
Join the ranks as a private, assigned to 338th
There on that day, Alvin York
Entered the fray
Saving the day
82nd all the way
Into the fires of hell, the Argonne, a hero to be
Entered the war from over the sea
Intervene, 1918, all the way from Tennessee
Hill 223
When his faith has been put to the test, the call to arms he heeds
On the 8th of October he went, made a sergeant for his deeds
Fearless, leading the raid of the war, machinegun on the hill
Charge the enemy taking the prisoners, by power of his will
There on that day, Sergeant York
Entered the fray
Saving the day
82nd all the way
What Sergeant York achieved that day
Would echo to the USA
It’s 82nd all the way
Death from above, what they now say
What Sergeant York achieved that day
Echoes from France to the USA
It’s 82nd All the way
Death from above, what they now say

You can see at 3:42 that one of the vocalist of Amaranthe was still at the place where fireworks should have gone of. You can see the other vocalist trying to get him of. Luckily Sabaton has a very aware crew.

I just love how humble everyone is, Amaranthe's singers getting away to let the front stage for Joakim and then Joakim asking them to join him❤️ and both versions sound so great, I love this crossover episode 😍
Happens alot if metal and rock.
@@mikehunt9894 that's why I love it!
They all are good guys. Joakim is quite the gentleman.

I am loving this, Sabaton is my favorite metal band but Amaranthe's cover is simply amazing. Seeing the musicians of Sabaton with the vocalists of Amaranthe was awesome enough, but then we get the part where Joakim finally comes out and all 4 vocalists harmonize. It's just majestic, this might be my new favorite version of 82nd All the Way.
Thank you for appreciating it!
I'm starting as a history teacher next year, Sabaton will be an integral part of my lesson plans lol
I graduated from university in June and am already starting work as a history teacher. Good luck dude. Greetings from Russia, Moscow.
My youngest brother actually had an easier time with history class because of groups like Sabaton. You’d be fun.
i want to become history teacher aswell and am thinking about integrating sabaton aswell
And you will be the most awesome history teacher out there, DO NOT forget to include Indy Neidell's youtube channels on both world wars.
If only my teachers were like you. That'd have been amazing
Joakim just chilling in the back most of the song, he just shrugs, hes like: i don't have to do anything yet
Powerwolf crossover when?
Get out of my head

Metal Head Maniac haha Yes !
I read this comment with a Russian accent, I don't know why.
all 3 of Amaranthe vocalists went back out of respect for Joakim , then he called all of them to join him to the front so humble \m/
and all of them singing together sounded phenomenal
And then the one guy accidentally stayed there too long meaning the planned pyro couldn't go off when the whole place went dark!
Amaranthe: "Thank you for letting us play with your toys!" - Jocke: "But we can all play with them together!"
Sharing is Caring, the Sabaton way!
I really love this combination of singing and screams. When Jokaim arrives, this is a perfect song
Did any other 40K fans get the feel of a Sister of Battle joining the Space Marines? I loved this greatly! You can tell they rehearsed with golden passion for such a killer performance!
Tis almost as glorious.
You'd feel that more with Night Witches imo
I don't play WH40K personally but I feel you hard as a DM in general
The three vocals from Amaranthe are so different, but they fit perfectly together. Outstanding performance!
When joakim arrived and sung with the other guys was so good, such a good song and performance, loved the ending
That's the best moment in music history
Sabaton always makes good songs and talks a lot about history

It's a privilege being able to listen to it
Thank you Bryan
as an actual 82nd paratrooper, I approve.
We thank you for your service
Seeing how much fun these two bands have with this song makes me even happier
Even when they sing together, you can still clearly hear Joakims voice
Amazing performance! When Joakim came back on stage i got goosebumps
Thanks for supporting our music!
@@Sabaton I have to thank you for making this music!
The Male Clean-Vocalist of Amaranthe is incredible in this one. :o (Elize is second to none anyways)
I find him really annoying. He's kinda nasal and whiny.
check out "Dynazty" then :D he has his own band and its awesome!
Nils Mollin has an amazing voice.
Dynazty is my other favorite metal band, so seeing Joakim & Nils (in Amaranthe) on the same stage is a dream!! 🤩 If there were ever a Sabaton/Dynazty US tour I’d die & go to heaven lol.

Living in Tennessee, this song makes me pretty damn proud of my state.
Our state has flaws. But I love it non the less. It makes being in the military from Tennessee a bit daunting.
@@TheJL103 Oh of course our state has flaws, I have no illusions about that. But we've also got a proud tradition of service beyond what could be asked, the Volunteer State. But I think I know what you mean, that's gotta be a hell of a legacy to live up to.
@@InvictusByz I remember getting to basic and them saying all the you know York, etc.
@@TheJL103 I can only imagine. A man like that leaves a legacy that gets talked about for generations.
In my eyes, though, if you served you did his, and Tennessee's legacy proud.
This is one of the only times that a band "unexpectedly" appears. This one being Amaranthe, and I like it. This is literally one of the best metal crossovers ever in my opinion.
What I love of the people in this show is the fact that the vast majority of them are not f*ckin around with their sh*tty cell phones hindering the people who really want to live the experience LIVE! Leave your cell phone in your pocket and enjoy the damn show LIVE!
This is why metal will never die. It makes you feel alive. Constant goosebumps throught this whole song.
I think I speak for everyone when I say: WE NEED MORE SABARANTHE
I almost screamed for joy when Joakim ran out and joined the final chorus! EPIC!

Elize Ryd great Voice and the looks to match.

Omg two of my favourite bands collabing just makes my day 😍
This is an AWESOME perspective from the stage side for the whole stinkin' song! We see live shots from the audience view ALL THE TIME; but to get the band's eye view for a change is fascinating! I love the one shot camera roll as well, have to stay out of the band's way or get knocked on your ass during the song, or trip one of the band up and possibly ruin the performance. And can we talk about Hannes drum riser for a moment???? IT'S A FREAKING TANK!!!! That's the single COOLEST drum riser EVER!!!! I also love how Sabaton enjoyed Amaranthe's cover of their song so much that they said screw it, let's bring these guys on tour with us and give the fans what they really want and deserve! Class act ALL THE WAY!!!
When I first saw the stream of this, was hyped to see Amaranthe but could never find the stream again. Now here it is!
