Josh I know what you mean. I grew up on a 100 acre farm. Now I live in a city. I so miss the country life.
Unfortunately those high intensity lights blind the piss out of the other drivers. A lot of the new pickups have 4 HE lights on each side 8 LED lights shining. I have limo tint on rear window but lights in my side mirrors is like staring at a 300 watt light bulb. It ant only me at the truck stop I hear other truckers complain about people driving with high beams on. In Indiana state police are writing tickets on many new vehicles because there lights are brighter than the sun
Cool story. As long as it is DOT certified it’s legal👍🏼
Much better Josh at least now you can see better. Merry Christmas to you & your lovely family, from the UK 👍🏻❤️👏🏻🇬🇧
Getting old Josh?? Small towns. I live in a village in the UK,
be careful josh about lights. I can no longer drive without sun glasses because of those light in daytime including backup beepers or deafening electronic device. I have to wear earplug and earmuff still not enough hearing seems fine but lost about 90 percent tolerance make sure they're not shaking and adjust correctly
I love small towns. People are generally much nicer, more helpful. Hope you get your trailer tomorrow. Keep warm1
Hi Bro. A long light bar along the top of your Texas bumper would look amazing on Ol Blue
Great headlights Josh! (I'm binge-watching again, sorry.) In my current old car I won't change the whole assembly to LEDs, that's why I use bulbs with increased brightness & color temperature ("Night Breaker 200" from OSRAM) - they are enough. If all goes well, I'll be able to afford a new(er) car in '25 which will have LED front lights.
When you got your cavalier vehicle, I was 55 yrs old. Don’t feel like I’m that old. Time flies, that’s for sure.
I had a yellow 2 door hatch back vega. It had mag wheels and a wide black strip going down each side of the car. I thought I was so cool.🤣🤣🤣
Hey josh about those lights it’s going blind someone with glare I had a problem with led light it should pointed lower to the ground it hurt eyes almost caused an accident at night
“KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE”, you a fan of Red Green?
Looks like the truck of choice is the W900, including yourself
,others Trucking with Schmidt,Just Truckin, and Trucking Together , I think Southern Comfort Hot Shot just bought a KW but I don't think it's a W900. I think the Boston Trucker also drives a KW he is a dump trailer driver. Anyways that leave SuperTruckerDan and his Pete379 nice truck also. my biggest baddest rig in my time was a 359 Pete way before the UA-cam days😂
beautiful new lights
yOU SHOULD GET A GREENAPU INSTALLED IN YOUR TRUCK
Awesome lights
Josh I don't know how the hinges in your doors are designed but it might just need replacing the hinge pins Remember as I drive a lot during the night in my pickup. Some of these new halogen lights are extremely bright. I'm sometimes blinded by them.
Keeper Go!
Hey mister Josh...if by chance is this the same farmer
er you hauled the water sprinkler type stuff
Merry Christmas to you and the family Josh! Keep on Truck'n!
Be safe Josh.
Nice lights
Hi Josh, Love watching your videos. I find myself looking for Ol Blue as I drive around in MN.
Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄
One of these days we'll meet!
I thought that was a very interesting video. Learned a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I hope those LED headlights are heated... if not, in the snow they will accumulate snow and loose brightness. I learned that the hard way on my Jeep. I needed up installing an aux set of halogens so I have light in snowstorms. Safe travels.
Glad you have your bunk heater working properly once again. LED headlights are fantastic and are painfully bright -- just ask any oncoming four wheeler. LOL You're a smart trucker for coding your tarps with the number of bungee cords. Really like Ol' Blue's dashboard illuminated so brightly at night. Drive safely, Trucker Josh.
That Marker light on the drivers side is driving me nuts. Any plans to fix it LOL?
Wish they could change the color or intensity of the LED headlights…they’re blinding to oncoming traffic. Hard for me to drive at night any more. Don’t have so much trouble with 18 wheelers but the pickups blind me. Guess the 18 wheelers have them aligned properly. Be safe!
They're only blinding if they aren't adjusted properly or if they just buy the bulbs and fail to use them in with projector lenses. ... which is illegal
So glad your coming to Wisconsin for a visit. Would have loved to have met you and bought you lunch along with my hubby but I know the road is a busy one and you have to keep trucking along to make that precious money for the family. God Bless and keep the rubber on the road my friend.
I died at your buddies reaction to your headlights 😂😂😂😂
Hi, Josh! I get where you're coming from about small towns. My maternal grandparents lived in Waynesboro, Virginia. I'm from Vienna, Virginia. So, I like that smalls towns offer more of a community feel. But for a guy like me (who doesn't drive) ... they lack one key element ... adequate public transportation. I'm from (still live in) Fairfax County, Virginia. I sometimes toss around the idea of moving to a small town. But given that I don't drive ... the transportation issue makes that a no-go. I'm Andrew.
I'd still get your bunk heater looked at. There could be a bigger issue.
Hi Trucker Josh great video and scenery your new LED Headlights look great on Old Blue glad you got your bunk heater fixed to stay warm in this winter weather the Christmas lights looked really nice in the video glad you had a great trip and saw your friend and spent time it makes it nice have a safe trip back to Wisconsin and back home to Britt and baby Theo god bless 🙏
When you replace healights in semis do you align the lights so that they are shining propely and not into oncoming driver's vehicles?
Amen
You should also run the bunk heater once in A while during the summer. My scania tells me when I have not used the bunk heater for a while and that I need to run it
Hi Josh, your Videos are really great.I Wish you and your Family a merry Christmas and a good start into the new year . Kind regards from Kay from Saxony ( Germany) 👍
wish our town would put up stuff for christmas, being a tourist ski town you think they would.
Sharp leds!

Hey there Josh , Brit and Theo! New headlights!
Those are really nice headlights. That's a good price. Are they heated?
Up there where you are I think I would service the heater every 3 months.
It's nice that Brian is taking care of the original W-9
Sleep tight and stay safe
Rand McNally = Rancid McShabby Old outdated technology and very shabby!! I have SOoooo many problems with my TND 85 and TND 1050... it's not funny.
Driving light goes off when using signal ? Not sure if I would like that ! But good lights a must on the highway at night - Thanks Josh.
Can I ask y you never cook in blue josh ?
Cause there's no room
I don't think he is cooking type of a person :)
I’d rather live in a big city. I don’t want to know everybody.
I wouldn't recommend burning kerosene too often Josh, it'll shorten the life of the motor, just when it needs it, imo.
Diesel burns much hotter than kerosene.
I think that you meant to say , Kerosene burns hotter than diesel. 👍
Diesel burns hotter than kerosene. Kerosene is basically a thin diesel much like #1, Arctic fuel or winter blend. That’s one reason your mileage goes down when you use winter fuel.
@@DennyReichard Kerosene burns hotter than diesel and can accelerate burning the piston rings, injectors and valves. It is more common to use kerosene as a winter additive to diesel fuel in order to prevent cold-weather gelling in the fuel.
Nice lights
