Hearing this song as a culmination of a lot of muse sounds makes me afraid that this would be their last album. I hope that isn't the case. I NEED MORE MUSE!!!
I was thinking the same. So far every single song has the vibe of a certain, always different, album. And they were all good. I hope this isn't goodbye.
They said it's a best of album, but with new songs, so that's why it sounds like that. Warner wanted them to do a best of album, but they said: we'll do something better.
I was at Rock am Ring when they played it live… it was my 8th muse concert and I have been listening to them for over 17 years now. I have never been this stunned from a new song ever. I instantly knew this one is going big…
The intro kinda like the handler and reaper, the chorus like the blockades, lastly the solo of newborn and Stockholm syndrom combined. Such a badass song.
When I saw all the comments I tried not getting hyped up too much, I didn't want get disappointed. But this song is so good it could never disappoint me, it's crazy how good it is. Hope they did a good job on the studio version
I'm actually reduced to tears 😢 I can't really add more than uve said. I've been a fan since June 2001 when New born was released. So I have those same feelings of when I heard New Born for the 1st time. I've just been sent on a Muse time machine from the last 20 years. 😇

So jealous of the concerts they're playing, not just because of opportunities like this, but because Muse hasn't come to Australia in like 5 years now 😭 Hopefully for this album 🙏

I watched this live and couldnt believe what i was hearing, i wasnt sure muse still had this in them, its like if you took OOS Muse and put them in 2022, very similar feeling to first hearing the handler but this might be better, I love that Muse experiment and make different music but this is the sound that got me into them and its amazing
I literally had tears of joy in my eyes hearing this piece, it's perfection, it's musest Muse in years. Obviously just like You, I'm dying right now to hear it live while being on their gig. Hope they will visit Poland while touring
The absolute INSANITY that is this song. It's like you said, it's like a mashup of the best parts of Muse. Even the lyrics are very old school, we haven't seen lyrics like these in a really long time. When they said this album was gonna be a "best of- of new songs" they were absolutely dead serious.
Watching the Livestream was unbelievable... WOTP absolutely rocked at the start, they all looked like they were having so much fun! Kept waiting to see if they would play this, as rumours were that it was on the setlist. As soon as it came on I got goosebumps, nearly in tears at the end! The solo was unbelievable 🔥❤️
@@dsxndoval There's been at least one instance where a song was debut'ed live and then the studio version was a let down. Unnatural Selection. It's because the guitar tone in the studio version was so thin compared to live.
I already teared up from this low quality version and your reaction. Maybe it's the wave of nostalgia that hit me because this song has everything that I associate with Muse after countless listens of their first 5 albums when I was a kid and a teen. I hope they release it as a single soon because the full album release is still so far away.
I only got into Muse a few months ago, but I've gone through basically their whole catalog. This song gave me a feeling like this is the Muse I've waited for for so long, despite not listening to their stuff back in the golden age of Muse, they NEEDED this song.

This album is looking to be amazing already. I've loved each of the singles so much, and this song is legit one of my favourite muse songs ever. Already! 🤯
I finally decided to listen to this song based on what people where saying. Your reaction is my 2nd listen and I'm glad to hear the whammy pedal is back in full effect. The hammer solo reminded me a bit of the bliss solo live, but like everyone is saying I definitely hear sounds of other songs in this one song and it's very well done. I'll fully hold off until they release a good sound quality recording for full thoughts.
Amazing track - like you said, pretty much all of their strongest elements in a blender, and it was great to hear the crowd really getting into it at the end. I could imagine the stern nuMuse haters rolling their eyes when Matt said they were going to play a new track, but getting giddy when that riff started.
This is what I was waiting for! Heavy. This song is perfection. Honestly made me emotional. They just went all out on this one. Makes me want MORE though. I can’t get enough of Muse metal. SOLO : Completly new for me, to be honnest. Idk what song of Muse got a so good and special solo. Maybe New Born ? I'm note sure...
5:22 Plug In Baby (high vocal)
10 songs in one (11 with the solo). And I'm sure we can find a lot of others if we search more.
Sorry for my bad english level btw, I learn xD
Es una obra de arte 🔥❤️
I think musers are finally at peace after this song. Because this is just a mix of all of their previous eras into one song. HOLY SHIIIIII
fuck i’m excited for this album.
Holy crap! This song is immaculate!
This is sick! The riff gives me assassin vibes.
3:45 Oh my god it's beautiful
This song is... 🔥
I've seen it live and everybody went completly nuts. It was way too crazy
I'm buying this album 🙏🤯
Oh how your face is priceless..... Are you even alive after this? Thanks for your reaction.
Half dead. It was close. My heart almost stopped :D
One thing I just noticed is that the build up to the solo and the actual solo seems like a mashup of Reapers and The Globalist (I absolutely love The Globalist.)
Btw Idk where you live geographically in the States but they announced 3 small capacity theater shows. I'm going to the chicago show at any cost.
I'm in Florida ATM - probably won't be able to...Maybe the NYC one since I'm moving soon.
Agreed. Best song since Stockholm Syndrome and in many ways it's better. They put all their expertise and experience into one mega song. Fantastic.
The bridge reminds me a lot of dream theater
I am S C R E A M I N G. I am all fucking smiles. it's so damn good
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG WTF HOW IS THIS SO GOOD
"Sounds like Muse not trying to be muse, sounds like muse... being Muse"
Reminds me of a cross between something off OoS & BHaR combined with reapers! Great!
This is what if wanted from the album! None of the songs gave me that Muse itch, but this certainly does.
The bridge giitar tapping is definitely the best part
I'm too scared to hear the live version before the studio 🙈🙈🙉🙉
Guitar Players now who play muse songs after hearing this songs' riffs: Kill or Be Killed.
Fuckkk yeaahhhhh!!
