Hello, I just bought a 3 spoke wheel for my 98 M3 but it has a totally different connection. I think it’s a dual airbag one :(

Late to the party, but I just took this wheel off for the Euro version with the smaller airbag.

Did you need to get an alignment after or was centering your wheels before removing the 4 spoke, then installing the 3 spoke centered, sufficient?

I did get an alignment but that was because I also did my suspension around that time.
Try centering the wheel the best you can and you shouldn’t need an alignment.

Great swap! I'm trying to do the same swap on my e34. Do you know if you went from a single stage airbag with the 4 spoke to a multi stage airbag with the 3 spoke? Worried about it triggering thr SRS light if there's a difference... Thanks!

Thanks! I made sure to stick with single stage airbag for the 3 spoke when I did this swap.
Besides the srs light concern, the plugs for the airbags are gonna be different on the single vs dual stage airbag from what I know and they’re not really compatible. Hope this is helpful!
