    What features do you want Copilot Money to add?

    Good call out on not having the visualizations. I really can't see what any trends are or what is happening month over month. Hopefully they build that!

    The Mint to Copilot Importer is now available! Info here help.copilot.money/en/articles/8587945-moving-your-mint-data-to-copilot

      did your import work? I've stuck on onboarding process. Says it's waiting for transactions from Mint... but I've imported the file and followed all the steps. Can't imagine what it's waiting for.

    If I sign up today, will co pilot go back and analyze all of my accounts for the entire year? It would be helpful to have a tool that can take all of my statements for the year and help me categorize/analyze all of my transactions.

    How does it handle reimbursements? Is it smart enough to offset say a $100 restaurant bill with corresponding $20 venmo’s labeled ‘restaurant’?
    Also, does it track total net worth?

    • @IrfanBhanji
      @IrfanBhanji  3 місяці тому

      Yes, it knocks out the $20 from venmo on your food category.
      It does track net worth.

    Great video! So I got the app and like what I see, but it keeps deleting my large swaths of my transactions after a month. Have you experienced that? Any tips/suggestions?

    If I pay for car insurance every 6 months. Does it allow me to allocate x amount of dollars each month until I reach that total payment amount?

    Hey Irfan, i’m currently using Monarch,
    After your in-depth experience with copilot, would you recommend it over Monarch and why?
    In the past I’ve used ynab, personal capital, and mint.

    • @IrfanBhanji
      @IrfanBhanji  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi Chase. I do not have personal experience with Monarch. Everything I read and saw made me want to switch from Mint to Copilot. I am very happy with it.
      The best way to compare would be to try it for yourself and see if it meets your expectations.

      @@IrfanBhanji thank you,
      I downloaded Copilot today and added my accounts. I’m going to test it out for a month and see how I like it compared to Monarch. I do really like monarch it’s just that the sinking for Fidelity BrokerageLink has some minor issues with transactions. But definitely Monarch and Copilot are the best, based on what I’ve seen in Copilot

    How do they not have an Android app? ugh..... Never liked Mint. Personal Capital was fantastic but not as good after Empower took over.

      Its annoying but most apps start on iOS first bc people who buy iPhones typically have more cash to spend.

    How well does Copilot recognize duplicates? My wife and I share our checking accounts and oftentimes, Mint will double up on transactions from checking accounts.

    • @IrfanBhanji
      @IrfanBhanji  5 місяців тому

      I haven't had any issues with duplicates.

    Thanks for the video! My worry is safety! Is it safe to import all your financial information on one platform? What happens if it’s hacked or something? 😮

      Copilot is quite secure, using the highest standard of encryption.
      Your bank is just as likely to be compromised, and copilot does not actually get any spending capabilities of each account added.

    • @IrfanBhanji
      @IrfanBhanji  6 місяців тому

      That is a great question. One thing to note. The data is read only. None of your account number or password info is stored. Its basically just pulling transition data.
      Also, all banks are using a Plaid which is a secure procotol to share data with copilot, mint, etc.
      There is always risk in anything. Hope that helps.

    I cannot figure out how to add a category for expenses.

    • @IrfanBhanji
      @IrfanBhanji  5 місяців тому

      There is a plus icon at the top and shows you a preset of categories but you can add your own custom.

    Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved

      There isnt a way I dont believe. Honestly for debts and savings, just keep them in google sheets or excel. Its a more advanced tool.

    Would you consider Copilot a bookkeeping application? I need to be able to account for my business expenses by category and by credit and debit card at year end for tax purposes but would rather not do Quickbooks. Thanks.

    Copilot runs into issues tracking net worth over 8 figures. Would not recommend other than for poors.
