Only buy what you need. A good shop that does alignment will tell you to replace all parts necessary. The inner tie rod is not hard to do, you just need to rent the inner tie rod puller. Most auto parts have them and you don't have to buy it. Use and return. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks Bro Stone. I purchased both inner and outer tie rod parts, do you think that repacing the inner tie rod is necessary? The Firestone I took it to for inspection just told me that the outer tie rod needed replacement. I would like to replace inner and outer if its beneficial. What are your thoughts? I would just replace what's needed, of course that's up to you. I was told the outers wear out much faster than the inners, due to the constant turning of the wheels. It's your choice though to replace both.
