My Vipers need a new ride and this is perfect. Slap a few Cobra decals on it and it's good to go. That red cockpit makes me think of the old vintage Hiss II cockpit glass.
Walmarts all over still have em. If you have scalpers in your area, you may have to buy it online and pick it up at the store or just have it sent to you. Good luck!
People are doing sick customs with this one. I kind of like the gun effects just not the canon that flashes red on the side.... Other than that it's great.
red canopy screams cobra! definitely gonna hunt this down. rotors are obviously too small but compared to the droopy rotors on the Joe Tomahawk that constantly crash into everything its actually a good thing.
Nice review. Not that it's particularly relevant, but I couldn't help thinking that if this was produced by Hasbro for the Joe line, the majority of fans wouldn't balk at buying it for $70 or better. Anyway, this would be nice painted in Cobra colors...
Once again...it's a TOY. If you want realism, you should look to BBI or any number of model kits. As with the "Beast Bomber", this is inspired by the Chinook...It IS NOT a Chinook.
cyberfrank 2010 Well, try if you can to just play with some of these toys. Even if for just a little bit. You'll see that focus was on PLAY and that the "form follows the function" in that respect. The "real world" details are non-existent because that wasn't the focus. But, try it. Even if you have to be meticulous and create a big set up or something. You'll see how easy it is to play with this vehicle.
I’ve NEVER seen this before in my life at my local Walmart… It’s dope with a few discrepancies… The rotors are too small… If they would extend out farther that would be awesome… Also you need crew-serve weapons/heavy machine guns on both sides of the helicopter… They could’ve made that big bay door smaller to accommodate the other machine gun…
Man I love this thing! I cant see this coming to SA any time soon though and international shipping is too much of a killer to try get from someone in the States.
Andrew Cramer You should talk to the guys at GI Joburg. Their also in South Africa and they've found ways to cut down on the price of shipping by using a specific service. I can't remember which. They also manage to find cool stuff every now and again in SA. Good luck!
+isaac wilson Sorry. Not feeling Hiya toys. I dig their Predators tho. I don't get the obsession with the APC. It was very "blah". I do have a similar Joe vehicle to review.
I think I'm happy about the APC because of the potential for a 1/18 scale Dropship that they have plans on making that would hold the APC. And also the potential of Mad Max Fury Road Toys that may follow
I dunno. I think some light airbrush overs-pray would do the better. Too many customizers love to SLATHER their projects in black-wash and it just makes most things look FUGLY as Hell! Gotta try different techniques. Also, sometimes it's all about the lighting. Saves you a LOT of money when you figure out good lighting to bring out a great sculpt.
Incredible vehicle! God bless you and yours!
Excellent review!! Thanks for posting happy new year!! 🎊
Got to love the details and accessories they put into this. Hasbro has no excuse for putting out their overly-expensive trash.

Thor13332 makes me want to take one apart and paint it black. hit with some silver dry brush...
Sage Forsaken
That's a great idea!
Wow. This thing is a beast.
Hands down one of my favorite military vehicles of 2016. Look forward to that Beast Bomber review on the way.
happy new year. I think I'm picking up the beast bomber, I'm working on a custom wild bill that will be flying it.
The toy guy at the Flea Mall where I work brought one of these and the bombers in. Picked up RAIN FIRE today - can't wait to get home and open it!
Yer gonna love it!!!
STRYDENT I'm sure! Gotta get some COBRA decals and we'll be good to go...Love your work Sir, long time Subber!
Thanks!
I'm glad you've stayed around soo long!
More quality on the way!!!
great review!!! I got this, and the bomber for xmas, but haven't had a chance to open em yet...
Great review my ninja! It is the Rain Fiya!!!!!!!!!!! A great vehicle alternative for modern Joe/Marauders TASK Force figures. Awesome vehicle!
This is and awesome review!! Shame I just found it. Anyone know if you can still find them in stores or if they have another release coming?

I wonder if it can be taken apart easily or safely. Anyone know a way to reroute the wiring to run some LEDs inside the hold if it's possible?
Awesome review! Mine is filled with Alley Vipers and Shocktroopers.

Parabéns! Pêlo vídeo!
Thats huge

Strydent that thing is amazing, i cant believe we dont get this size for g.i.joe? great review man , great channel
If you airbrushed the handle and rare exhaust to match you would not notice that it was a handle.
Great review! Joe vehicles have been lacking lately, so I'm all for buying from alternative companies.
I would’ve love to gotten it for my G.I. Joe alien predator crossover display for my neo vipers to use it to capture xenomorphs for cobra’s use.

the electronics and landing gear seems to be their weakness,
plus, the rotor blades are way too short.
Once again...it's a TOY.

ok, it s a toy, and you love it as a child,
I get it.
cyberfrank 2010 As a big fucking kid, hell yes I love it!
it s cool, I m just so serious about things.

I like the artwork pinned to your walls... Your own?
Kurt Criscione A lot of it is. Check out the albums in the facebook group. I put a bunch of stuff there
Please do a review of HIYA TOYS APC .... from Aliens , check it out

I read that Funco is doing the Mad-Max: Fury Rd figures and they will be 6".
I have the hero f-22
Rotor blades are a little short
A black wash would make it a perfect 10 !
I dunno.

Yes Hasbro sticking kids up. Vehicles for Cobra and Joes is crap
It was kool till it talked
I do not like it. The blades are too short, the handle is awful, the design is poor. I prefer the Tomahawk.
neapolitanjoe lol! It's gonna be alright Holmes!
Your intro is about 2 minuets long
