Just an observation: in 2:40, if a patient is uncomfortable, it's important to let him know that he can stop the examination whenever he wants. That information may be important for us, but the patient always has sovereignty over his body.
Unfortunately, I didn’t learn this until AFTER the doctor went there without getting my consent. I only learned later I could have refused any portion of this exam; specifically the test for hernia, which I definitely did not have and was not complaining about.

True story! The doctor (20+ years ago) thought he would help the teenager feel more comfortable about an abnormality. It wasn't until the teen grew up and thought about it that he realized that was not normal doctor behavior.
I can't believe a med student ever said this wrong comment in a doctor's office, instead of saying, "....And collect some fluid." While laughable outside the office, that wrong comment would be totally inappropriate to say in the office.
I once had a cluster of insect bites on my back and had a mild allergic reaction to them. The young doctor said "It looks like something I saw on Star Trek."
I met a nice lady dermatologist in a bible study and went to have her treat my facial roseca. Because of my age and sun damage, she did a full body exam, all while discussing church and Jesus 😮
Have a female urologist who complimented my underwear. She told me she liked the material and my testicles would thank me. Did not have the heart to tell her the hight dollar undies only came out once a year when I came for my yearly. Back a number of years ago at my first visit she told me her male patients liked her because she has small hands and fingers. She is a wee person. On the way out from my first visit she caught up to me and gave me an appointment card. She then said We have another hot date next year.
I'm not sure to choose a female or male urologist If it's the male urologist I just want to slap his hand If it's the female urologist I just want to bite my hand (except for the P... exame that's still annoying)
Having been diagnosed with bladder cancer the Dr proceeded with my exam, he told me two things, you have a small meatus and I'll be back Shortly, before going to a urologist learn all the proper words for your Willy parts, I told him well it was big enough to have three kids
I have a female urologist and do not wish to change. Once her P. A. also female did the exam, she brought a student, female, with her. They did well. I hope I was a good patient to learn on. Parts are parts.
I can't seem to wrap my hands around this ... Let me carefully hold it and turn it to the side to look better all over for anything problematic ... The size looks good and healthy for me to look closer for any other anomalies ... etc from these first year female med students practice learning curve works okay for me without hearing any Freudian slip talk! 😂
I once overheard someone having a catheter inserted, it was a male nurse, he asked if its okay if the student nurse can stay to learn, who is also a male nurse, then one of them jokes, saying, I'm going to take the p155. One of the nurses was very camp, I heard him screaming as the catheter is inserted. I'd much prefer a female nurse if that was me. And thought that joke was a bit inappropriate.
