Erections are a gift, whenever and wherever they happen. There is NO reason for a man to be ashamed of getting sexually aroused, because it's how are bodies are meant to work! I love this video.
Needed pelvic floor PT and had a young woman therapist. Had been diagnosed as late 50s prostatitis but it was pelvic muscular disorder. She totally cured me with trigger release and groin massages and she taught me home exercises. I got an erection several times and once ejaculated during an exam when she touched my prostate. She was totally cool about it and it was fine. I was very lucky to find her.
Lol. I had this conversation with my therapist the first session. It broke the ice 16 weeks of therapy I didn’t get a erection but she insured me if I did no big deal . great she did a great job with me. She was fantastic therapist and I’m now 100% back to normal 😀 im blessed to have worked with her!
Thank you for an honest and straightforward discussion of an issue many of us think about. I appreciate your straight forward approach without endless talking. Thanks!!!
Speaking as a health care professional- Here’s the thing: We really don’t care! We do care if your discomfort interferes with us doing our job. So we care about your feelings in a very pragmatic way. If you’re here for pelvic work or yes a prostate exam, your spinal chord may stimulate an erection. It’s not personal one way or the other.
It’s personal to me! I can’t think of anything more humiliating than getting an erection in front of a completely dressed female, or two. Often times, there are two women if a nurse is assisting the doctor. Let me ask you something. How would you feel if during your gynecological exam, a male nurse was standing behind the doctor, staring at your vagina? Female doctors and nurses always say, “I’ve done this hundreds of times. It doesn’t matter to me”. Who cares how you feel? It’s all about themselves with no empathy for the patient.
I stopped seeing female doctors. The main reason is because in 95% of any exams, Ive had, they bring in another female besides herself, to be a chaperone. Its one thing, that shes a doctor and doing her job, but what is already an awkward situation turns into one that is more embarrassing, with a second set of female eyes on my genitals. That makes the exam unacceptable and uncomfortable to me.
Personally, I wouldn't care; but it is quite a double standard that a male doctor would be sued if he was examining female with the observance of only one male nurse.
It's not double standards cause it's your choice you can say no I'm not going to have it done or you can say I want to be referred to someone else. I got a bladder scope coming up and I asked the doctor at consultation that I was really sensitive in that area and a female would make it worse and I rather not have a female nurse prep me and numb the urethra and he said that's fine if I was not wanting a female he would do it you just got to let them know and they will accomidate every place has a male and female doctor for just that. I told him I didn't want anyone else in the room and he said that's not a problem it just might take a little longer cause not a seconed pair of hands. Always ask if not comfortable and if they got a female or male and if not can they reccomend you to another place.
I agree....I do not want anyone else in the room but me and my doctor unless the other person has a reason to be there such as to assist in a procedure.
This happened to me but only once when I was twenty when an older female doctor examined my testicles . I was embarrassed and put my hand over my erection and said "I'm sorry I can't help it. She smiled and said " no problem that's normal with young men".
When I was 12 a female doctor had me completely undress & said she needed to see how things were going down there. I got semi erect & she didn't shame me & apologized she wasn't a male. Very professional.
Now that I am a lot lot older, I don't worry about it all that much. Also, we are both adults in the room right. So the sight of an erection should not be that much of a concern in a professional setting.
Thanks Doc. I wish more therapists had your insight. I went to a pelvic floor therapist and she seemed uncomfortable when examining me. I never had a full erection, but the exam did make me semi erect. I was a little confused since I was seeing her for erection, sexual function issues. Keep up the excellent work!!
Yes this has in fact happened to me. I have always had a female primary care physician. Like you mentioned in your video, this is very commonplace for some men. It's not anything more than that. I think it's more of a natural occurrence based upon who we are as a species. They always have been extremely professional and thankfully very knowledgeable. I actually prefer female doctors as a man myself. Thanks for posting!
I agree, I prefer having a woman as my primary doctor. I didn't always see it this way. The first time she gave me a complete physical I was scared to death. It was the embarrassment. The gloved finger, Dear God that wasn't nice that first time. She did the exam and acted as if it was the most natural thing in the World. She asked me lots of personal questions about how things were going "down there" because she found and epidemal cyst on my left testicle. She told me it was harmless. She's given me a physical for the last 5 years, and I'm not comfortable letting any other doctor but her examine me now. I think females have more to prove in the medical field, especially in men's health. But when they study and work at it, they're often so much better to deal with.
I agree, I find female doctors, therapists, massage therapists, etc. much more compassionate. It's not sexual, totally professional, it just seems like they care more what happens to you, whereas my male doctors are all about their egos. The first time my PT asked me about my ejaculations is was a little embarrassing, but I got over it and she cured me.
I recently sought Urology treatment with a new physician because of my Medicare insurance change. The urologist was booked up and so I was referred to his female P.A. Instead. I was fine with this in order to get a sooner appointment, and wasn’t nervous until an attractive young woman walked in and introduced herself! I began to get nervous and embarrassed as she began to ask me the personal questions that were obviously inevitable! I tried to be as open and Frank as I could, and then she had another young female enter the exam room before asking me to drop my pants for the physical exam! I was so worried about having an erection it went to the extreme opposite reaction! My penis size, normally 3-5 inches flaccid, was barely visible, and while the young assistant looked on, she examined my testicles and had me shuffle with my pants around my ankles over to the exam table to bend over for a digital rectal exam. I must have turned red in the face, because She began to apologize for what is usually quite painful for me as I groaned in anticipation! I have been diagnosed with BPH for many years and experienced all that goes with that! Afterwards, they both looked embarrassed for me! I thanked her for being gentle and seeming concerned, but I wanted to crawl under a huge rock! I’ve been examined by a female physician before(M.D. and my primary), but she examined me lying on my side facing away from her. She was older and more experienced, and acted very casual and clinical! On my next visit they scheduled me to see her for follow up and turns out I was suffering from a rare urological infection and she prescribed a long course of antibiotics. As I would see her multiple times for test results to follow, I became more comfortable with her and she examined me again for an enlarged testicle. After declining a second painful cystoscopy, and opting for a cat scan instead, the Urologist saw me on my final visit and was rude and dismissive to me, informing me, if I wouldn’t agree to a cystoscopy without anesthesia, he wouldn’t be able to help me or see me further! I’m not sure now if his PA even new about this, and wonder if I can ever return to his practice! She was much more concerned, professional and effective than the jerk she worked for, and now I have to search for another Urologist! Next time, I will look for a female Urologist! I still suffer with chronic prostatitis, BPH and now, erectile disfunction and anxiety! I can only imagine how the Urologist would have attacked me if I had had an erection(usually large) instead! Now I’m even more concerned about it in searching for another female Urologist! But, I’ve had too many aggressive exams from male Urologists, that I am sold on female care and therapy!😏
Good advice. Patients really need to understand that we know that these things can happen involuntarily from time to time during exams. I always try to put them at ease and assure them it's completely fine. Having an understanding, sympathetic demeanor can go a long way.
Just being honest. I prefer a female doctor ALWAYS but my experience is that female general practitioners and internists rarely check male genitalia during am annual exam. I have told my sons to see a male for this reason. It seems like they fall short of the standard of care simply because they do not feel comfortable and should have considered this before going into primary care medicine.
I agree from my experience . But , I think that’s the case with all GPs I’ve had, male and female . However , I had one exception when I had a physical where the female Dr seemed to go out of her way to see and touch my genitals during a physical although I made no statement that I was having a problem there . I honestly think she just really wanted to see/ touch me . But it’s all good - I didn’t care . I got little stimulation from it . But I know she did it just to see me - but I was much younger then sigh. I’ve had a different woman GP since then for 15 years and she has never seen me there - and seems to go out of her way not to. And I get a physical every year.
I think Suzie should more directly say that an involuntary erection or ejaculation will not result in the ending of the session. The therapist will not, upon the occasion of such involuntary responses, presume that the patient is seeking a sexual, rather than a therapeutic, experience. These acknowledgements would put many men's minds at ease, I think.
I’ve always had a male physician when I was a kid till middle school. Once I’ve moved to a different city. My primary care physician was a woman. It was really embarrassing when I’ve got my first erection while she was checking me. Right in front of my mom. Talk about being traumatized.
Let's get a couple of things straight here ... Dr. Susie, ... You are not only a 'Great Dr. ... You are a master of 'innuendo', .... I love what you did here ... and the first two times, skipping around this video, I didn't even see your 'stuffed animal' at 2:43 ... I love you Dr. Sus ...
Most of my doctors are women and never had a problem with it i suppose since I'm just there for a checkup. But when my wife touches me, that's a different story because I know she means business! Lol!
It's natural for your body to respond .. a professional therapist is no stranger to human responses. Better to be a little embarrassed than ignoring whatever your health issue is.
I can think of one health concern where the patient would be happy to get an erection during a pelvic health therapy session. That would be for the complaint of erectile dysfunction. Doctor, you've cured me in one treatment!.
Good video, I got one when my female doctor gave me an exam down there recently, I was really embarrassed but she didn't react to it or comment even though it was really obvious, I have been thinking about that a lot and been embarrassed but now I am happy to hear that it is a more common thing and it is probably not the only time that happened with her!
I have a wonderful female urologist. The first time I visited her she conducted a prostate exam. I didn’t have an embarrassing experience, but I did break the ice very easily and effectively. As she was “rooting around” I told her “I don’t normally do this on a first date.” Afterwards, I told her that she now knows me more intimately than even my wife, and in a much shorter time frame. The laughter I got from her was all we needed to start a great doctor/patient relationship that continues now for about 10 years.
In my view, the patient should simply accept that this may happen. It's a normal and natural thing. Women may likewise exhibit discernible signs of arousal during certain examinations, massage, and other "hands-on" procedures.
I’ll be 75 in a few months. Never had/never heard of a Pelvic floor exam by any Dr. Intern, PA, or Nurse practitioner. I have also had total body, head to toe and all in between exams for any type cancer since 2009 after having a melanoma in the center of my back cut out. Since it was a Military teaching hospital, it was always done twice once by the intern/jr resident and once by the old timer doing the teaching. Every single one skipped over my genitals except one very cute young female. I must say she examined every inch of me. One purple spot on my little head, the one that doesn’t think much, after turning twisting it, rubbing it to check for elevation, I finely told her. That’s nothing ma’am, caught it in a zipper when I was a kid. She said, “oh ok then enough of that” then went on about the exam. I was scared to death she was going to say, I think we need to take a biopsy of that and send it to pathology.
This happened to me! I thought I might have had a hernia, so I went to emergency room! The female doctor was really hot. So she told me to remove my pants and underwear. By this time I was totally hard! I tried to apologize, but she told me that it happened all the time. She actually said it was fine
What's to be embarrassed about? The amount of doctors that have encountered this in their career is beyond comprehension. If they can't handle it doing the specialty that they do then they need to move on to another field. It's not so important what the doctor sees as to what the doctor does with it 🤣
I'm a female and I've had Male Doctors examine my breats and genitals. I sometimes get aroused but never embarrassed since they have no way of knowing that 😂😂
Actually there are very obvious changes in the breasts and genital regions of the female during intense arousal (redness, swelling, clit erection, etc.). But of course, not nearly as obvious lol.
I got completely over ALL my shyness when I got my first Foley. Besides at 62 anytime a "strange" woman (nurse, doctor or tech) handles my "junk" it's a thrill.
I had a case of priprism.(erection not going down) female doctors and nurse took care of me. Embarrassing at first but I quickly got over. Doctors knew how to handle things quite well
Wow, well if it is a male doctor I really dont think that will happen; however, if it is a female I would think she would find it a compliment. and I won't be embarrassed. If she is embarrassed that is her problem.
thinking like that for you is honestly a little disgusting. Assuming every woman would just automatically think it is a “compliment” whenever her client gets hard isn’t normal 💀 Some woman find it very uncomfortable to be around and not in a good way. Try to think of it that way instead of thinking of it as a compliment
About a little over ten years ago, I was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. At the beginning, for some reason, my oncologist wanted me to undergo a UT scan of my testicles. The technician was a very beautiful lady. I actually remember her name, but I will not mention it here. As she was doing the examination, and monitoring her machine, I had had an erection. I apologized, and she said not to worry about it, it happens fairly often. She then asked me if I wanted a male chaperone. I said; No thank you, I am quite good. You? She said ; Same here. She finished the examination, and then we talked about college football for a few minutes. 😊
I’ve had 3 rounds of pelvic floor therapy with 3 different therapist. 30 visits? I knew going in that erections were going to be routine. My urologist had put me on Cialis to help my prostate which is routine now plus i had been given testosterone pellets! It didn’t help that two of the therapist were knockouts. Omg. I decided to be very transparent about it before the appts and they were very comforting to not worry. In fact, i was asked for one session to take viagra at the beginning of the appt since it takes 45 min to kick in. Believe me i did not have ED but was going to be checked for pyronies. The best way to check for plaque is when you are hard. We just joked about it but was torture! I knew I’d never be able to walk out of the appt in that condition so she just nonchalantly handed me a packet of lubricant snd box of Kleenex and left the room for 5 minutes! It was just st routine. After ruling out pyronies the next therapist used skin rolling techniques to try and stretch the skin that was too tight at the base of the penis. I could only go 45 seconds before i was full blown. Turns out i had placation surgery yo correct what was a congenital condition. It worked out great. But i did have a lot of issues that therapist helped me worked through. Frankly my male doctor was much more uncomfortable talking about any of this but not the women. Go figure.
It happened to me. I can't lie the Dr was cute but the touching got me it was awkward at first but she was very nice and said it was ok it does happen. I do now communicate to my newer Drs that this has happened. It's always gone well. Great advice 😊
Why should a man be embarrassed over an erection any more than a women be embarrassed when her nipples become erect? It's a body reaction that happens and is natural. I would never be concerned if it happened. Americans are too concerned about this situation.
Last time I saw my primary doctor for a "wellness check" she told me I had to stop masturbating. I said "why?" She said "so I can finish examining you."
One of my consistent symptoms is really intense spams throughout the day and causes erections all the time. Every pelvic session I have erections. I mentioned it prior. It's never been a problem. Matter of fact for certain issues the erection helps with a therapeutic stretch etc.
Very interesting points and suggestions Dr. I've had several cases, especially when a female physician is examining me while a female chaperone is present..My biggest fear is getting an erection when getting a prostate check up or when a PFT is doing internal work on me
You can be lucky to get an erection, it shows that at least physically everything is absolutely fine and healthy. That is what my doctor told me before such a session.
When I was a child and joined the high school football team I had to get a physical. An attractive nurse gave me my physical. I had no control of my erections then because I was a virgin. She was very cruel to me for getting hard. So she slapped it a few times very hard. I started to cry. The next time I got an erection was my first prostate exam. I didn't know what a digital exam was. And when a male Dr gave me the exam I got hard and came. I was mortified that this could happen. I'm in my 50s and have touch issues and haven't had a prostate exam since the first one.
Ideally this is good. Most nurses and my physical therapist have been very trust worthy. Most nurses are amazing. I was uncomfortable that my woman physician and the man physician wouldn't check me nor give me prostate exam with me afraid something was super wrong. But some people are cruel to be cruel. When originally went to the ER like a male nurse told me over the phone the female doctor acting childish about checking me. The young nurse had to be with her. The female nurse was calm and professional while I was concerned somethign was really wrong. Glad they they think I don't have cancer. The technician the gave me echo insulted my privates outside of the door. Although I did get the good news of her not seeing anything twisted or tumors. More than several months later of pain I get to see a female urolgist. My first impression was that she was calm and very professional, much more mature in behavior than my physician. She was calm, answered questions, and seemed to know what can be wrong. Her nurse the first visit was very rude. When the urolgist had me stand with my pants down examinging me the door opened and close about five times with the urologist telling the person to stop. When she went to talk to a doctor over her a male doctor came in the room by himself shortly. He looked disturbed, asked two unimportant questions, looked strang in silence for about a couple of minutes, then left trying to stop laughing saying something about masturbation. My next visit was a cystoscopy. This time the nurse was calm and a pro explainign the potential dangers. The urologist came in the door in a rush. She was rude, talking real fast, out of breath, her hair was out of order, her jacket was out of order. This woman was about to stick a camera in me. The nurse slipped she had two students that wanted to stand in to watch. I say okay. Didn't piece together that it was what two other men were complaining about in the waiting area. The uro;ogist managed not hurt me more before rushing off and telling me to see PT in a rough manner. The two young women didn't have the deceny to not be outside the door while laughing and saying "It was so tiny.. It was so small."Even though I door think it was mostly my city of St Louis and a mean spirited racial gag because me and the men in the lobby were black men. But you see both men and women can take advantage and be sure their position and race will not lead to consenquences.
Pelvic floor physical therapists deal with the problems with the muscles of the pelvic floor. They treat many problems connected to sexual, bowel, or urinary function. Pelvic pain, urinary or fecal incontinence, ED, pelvic organ prolapse, painful sex, and PE are a few of the issues they treat.
@@juanitadudley4788 pelvic floor toning is very common. More for woman normally. Tens muscle units are often given for use at home. Incontinence as woman get older is a huge problem, also can be caused by birth. Guys can also get weakness there. Regular sex or masturbation can improve and keep things from getting lose.
My urologist is a woman. I've not had an erection during any visit with her. I think it would be perfectly normal to get an erection. I think many guys such as myself would be seeing medical professional because we have difficulty. It's the truth.
all she said during my last exam was that it was a good sign as it meant everything was functioning properly and just . . . kind of . . . left it at that.
to be completely honest,if she doesent have a high body count,it's probably quite entertaining for a young female Doctor, educationally speaking...... lol
It’s been embarrassing every doctor’s visit. Praying it wouldn’t happen AGAIN, just to be embarrassed once more. I heard that the doctor has seen it all. That never worked for me. Haha.
I have the opposite reaction when getting a D.O.T physical. "It" can't be normal size, it looks like a jumped into a cold swimming pool. Why? Nervous? So embarrassing
It's because your nervousness causes a fight or flight reaction in your body during which your body moves all available blood to the essential parts of your body. Basically your penis drys out. Lol
I had a testicular scan when I had a kidney stone and it was done by a woman. I didn't have any issue with that but I was telling my friend about the scan and he said he'd be really concerned about that happening. I just thought it was a very medical, professional, situation so I wasn't really having those thoughts that would normally cause it to happen. I also figured if it does, she's a professional, she probably does stuff like this every day, so it's probably not a big deal.
I had a prostatectomy in 2009 but the surgeon was unable to perform the nerve-sparing procedure. I had two aggressive peripheral cancerous cell in my prostate. I still had elevated PSA and underwent 37 radiation treatmenst in June and July 2013, IMRT. The radiation burned my bladder and I was leaking over one gallon a day. I did see a pelvic floor specialist in Septermber 2013. She tested my kegel strength twice and I did not become aroused but I have to admit her hand on me really felt good
Some of us would be overjoyed to return to the times of embarrassing spontaneous erections...and even wet dreams. It would mean we were cured. Seriously.
I will not get a physical exam for that very reason alone. I was never taken to the doctors and I was little at any time for any reason. Actually I was sexually molested by a babysitter and my parents refused to believe that it was true. I can see that i'm a very clear disadvantage. For whatever reason I convince myself that if I should get an erection during a physical, the doctor would think of me as a pervert or a sexual predator like those you prayed upon me. I feel very jealous of those who have no problem in this area and it hurts me terribly. If there is a god I will pray that I will overcome this horrible nightmare.
I had to get a physical each year before the start of football season and one year I procrastinated and had to go to a clinic and not my regular doctor. The female doctor flirted with me and um, shall I say, handled me differently than any other doctor had. She said what she was doing was checking for a healthy response to manual stimulation. It was healthy alright lol
Shes lucky she didn't lose her license for that. Jerking off a patient isn't part of the job and it can get you barred and jailed for harassment even if you liked it she should have known better as a provider and clinician. We don't play like that in medicine and I'm surprised she is still a doctor. Wonder how many other people she has done this too, regardless of the situation this is unprofessional and against the law. Just a perspective from a health care provider that follows the rules and can't risk your whole life education for a moment of weakness, she risked it all and didn't get caught. There are so many laws we have to follow as practicners that would make non-clinicians and medical people's heads spin. Thats why when we have procedures and we ask you to do something it isn't because we want to it is because it is protocol and it is a risk to the patient if it isn't followed. Boards teach us this and when we get our license renewed we have to be checked on stuff like this so we are up to date with our knowledge and practices. Sorry you had this experience this could have gotten out of hand. This makes other providers look bad and people start to think we all do this and we don't.
@Branman345 I sometimes wonder if the clinic was even fully legitimate. It wasn't my regular doctor and because of the time and day I had to go to an area that wasn't exactly a good neighborhood.
That's funny: what do you want your therapist to do if you get an erection. Umm, most guys aren't going to answer that question honestly. I've had erections in front of doctors before. I assume they've seen it all so it doesn't bother me, if it bothers them they need a different tactic to doing those exams or a different field.
I have absolutely never been embarrassed by having an errection during medical procedures, for example on one occasion my nurse force-pumped 2 enemas to me, which induced in me the most intense and explosive orgasms.
Yes, a very good bit of advice here. Wish I had seen it 20 years ago. I have an erection every time I am examined in this area. Much more relaxed about it now fortunately.
I just wanted to say that your videos are truly informative, as you are an intelligent women. I’d also like to say that you are one of the most gorgeous women to have ever lived.
I never had that procedure or embarrassment. But during part of a military medical exam I had the embarrassment of being naked in a room with two other men watching as I was bent over the exam table getting a prostate exam. I've had the embarrassment of being exposed in front of women for medical reasons but thankfully no erections at the time.
I have never had this happen. Perhaps because I am a social nudist and have never seen any nudist get an erection at a nudist resort. I am sure it must happen, but rarely. I don't view going to a health appointment (doctor, nurse, therapist) as being sexual.
I haven’t had a primary physician in several years. I’ll seriously consider a female physician. As I’m getting older I know I need to get check ups now.
Thank you very much for this information. I am going for my first pelvic exam soon. For sure I have been agonizing over this situation . You have been so helpful. 👍🌹
Pun list: Let's get things straight here. Okay, you stopped at one pun in the video. I had a feeling that this was going in another direction. When your notes on the video mentioned the "elephant in the room," I couldn't tell whether you were going for a second pun. We'd all like to think that the issue is an elephant for us. Maybe it's just because I've become old and have so many health problems, but I don't let these things enter my mind once I know that I need help. Granted, I'm beyond the age where this problem is an issue most of the time. The overall bad health plus the fear of worsening health reduces the likelihood of having this issue. For younger guys, I can understand the hesitancy. With that in mind, thanks for the video addressing the issue. The initial pun left me unsure where this as going, but the video is worthwhile.
Erections are a gift, whenever and wherever they happen. There is NO reason for a man to be ashamed of getting sexually aroused, because it's how are bodies are meant to work! I love this video.
O…kay…not so sure that I agree with the ‘whenever and wherever’ part, though.

"I'm sorry if I do & I'm sorry if I don't" 😃
Wouldnt get a hard with you anyways.you're male.doh.🤪

Now that I am a lot lot older, I don't worry about it all that much. Also, we are both adults in the room right. So the sight of an erection should not be that much of a concern in a professional setting.
Thanks Doc. I wish more therapists had your insight. I went to a pelvic floor therapist and she seemed uncomfortable when examining me. I never had a full erection, but the exam did make me semi erect.
I was a little confused since I was seeing her for erection, sexual function issues.
Keep up the excellent work!!
That's very unprofessional... She's not a good one for you dude :( been judged before, not fun
The guy who lives downstairs has a mind of his own, but not a conscience.
"Let's get a couple of things straight" is a good way to start this....
Thanks for sharing!!
@@DrSusieGTeam . your mail id pls.
Did you ever helped somebody to release?

Doctor: We need to do a rectal exam.
Patient: Digital?
Doctor: Yeah.
Patient: Uh! Well, better than anal-log.
SS… I’ve found that to be the case myself. But, unfortunately, the men have the bedside manner of a Hippopotamus, in my estimation.
She is in the medical field and i would never be ashamed to have this happen
I think Suzie should more directly say that an involuntary erection or ejaculation will not result in the ending of the session. The therapist will not, upon the occasion of such involuntary responses, presume that the patient is seeking a sexual, rather than a therapeutic, experience. These acknowledgements would put many men's minds at ease, I think.
Well said, William! Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely! Spot-on, William💯
Involuntary but not non voluntary 😊
I’ve always had a male physician when I was a kid till middle school. Once I’ve moved to a different city. My primary care physician was a woman. It was really embarrassing when I’ve got my first erection while she was checking me. Right in front of my mom. Talk about being traumatized.
I wouldn’t want either parents in the room
Yeah. Why the hell was your mom in the room? That’s too old for her to be seeing you like that anymore.
What the actual fuck

Dr.
Lol!
Tmi darlin
@@willfield2567are you kidding, dumb azz.
If the zipper thing happened in childhood, why was it purple so many years after?
...."Let's get a couple of things straight here" hahahaha!
This happened to me! I thought I might have had a hernia, so I went to emergency room! The female doctor was really hot. So she told me to remove my pants and underwear. What's to be embarrassed about? The amount of doctors that have encountered this in their career is beyond comprehension. If they can't handle it doing the specialty that they do then they need to move on to another field. It's not so important what the doctor sees as to what the doctor does with it 🤣
Had to laugh a bit at 1:18 at the irony of her saying 'If your therapist doesn't bring it up' when referring to talking about it in advance.
“Let’s get a couple of things straight”
I'm a female and I've had Male Doctors examine my breats and genitals. I sometimes get aroused but never embarrassed since they have no way of knowing that 😂😂
Lucky you 😀 hopeless for a man to try to hide an arousal 🤥 but that's life and that's nature.
Holy ...
Only now, I realised that women don't have any problems with this!
Actually there are very obvious changes in the breasts and genital regions of the female during intense arousal (redness, swelling, clit erection, etc.). But of course, not nearly as obvious lol.
Just means the parts are working, and your insurance probably pays for it....clearly a " win/win".....
I got completely over ALL my shyness when I got my first Foley.

We don't have to apologize for what our bodies look like, even if one part happen to be filled with blood. It's a normal look for a man.

Wow, well if it is a male doctor I really dont think that will happen; however, if it is a female I would think she would find it a compliment. and I won't be embarrassed. If she is embarrassed that is her problem.
Indeed !!!
All males get an erecting penis….
thinking like that for you is honestly a little disgusting.
Michael. I love the last sentence of your post... It made my day!
Not an embarrassment errection. Just shows everything is working well. I mean with a female doctor of course
Go figure.
I told two girls that it happens to me when I wake up that I'm not thinking anything and both of them said it's normal
It certainly can happen. I’ve found that the more nervous/apprehensive I am that there is far less chance of awkward inflation.
"AWKWARD INFLATION" ... imaginative terminology ... gotta love it ...
OH! Just let it happen and enjoy ! Its a good sign you can still get it up 🤓
Any medical student here who completely misunderstood the video title😅😂
It happened to me. I can't lie the Dr was cute but the touching got me it was awkward at first but she was very nice and said it was ok it does happen. I do now communicate to my newer Drs that this has happened. It's always gone well. Great advice 😊
Why should a man be embarrassed over an erection any more than a women be embarrassed when her nipples become erect? It's a body reaction that happens and is natural. I would never be concerned if it happened. Americans are too concerned about this situation.
It's so pleasure to find this channel!
Last time I saw my primary doctor for a "wellness check" she told me I had to stop masturbating. I said "why?" She said "so I can finish examining you."
If it happens, it happens, No big deal.
I've had several cases, especially when a female physician is examining me while a female chaperone is present..My biggest fear is getting an erection when getting a prostate check up or when a PFT is doing internal work on me
It’s completely natural to have erections, and doctors regularly see this happen. No need to be embarrassed.
I have a female urologist and a female internist. Never felt uncomfortable with either of them. They're just doing their job.
I usually only get this kind of "therapy" when I 'm on business trips.😉
I must admit pelvic floor therapist is something I had never heard of until today. Exactly what is the purpose of them
Pelvic floor physical therapists deal with the problems with the muscles of the pelvic floor.
A good common-sense approach, nicely stated.
all she said during my last exam was that it was a good sign as it meant everything was functioning properly and just . . . kind of . . . left it at that.

😆 🤣 😂
I would rather have a hard rock erection than a soft flacid.
I hate that
Agreed, always happens when stressed or tensed up, nervous.
You’re right. As long as the professional acts as one, what does her/his genitals have to do wit it?

I was actually happy to see it.The nurse did say it does happen. No issues.
God Bless her naughty little Heart !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Branman345 I sometimes wonder if the clinic was even fully legitimate. It wasn't my regular doctor and because of the time and day I had to go to an area that wasn't exactly a good neighborhood.
This never ever happened to me, and it never will. Female doctors and nurses has always been disgusting as hell with me, so I'm always fully scared.
"Excuse me nurse ? Could you give me a hand with this ERECTION" 😂
This is the same as getting a massage. Sometimes you get an erection, but don't mean too. The therapist understands.
I’ve never had a doctor or therapist I was attracted to . It just doesn’t happen . But I think it does happen for other people .
It’s nothing to do with attraction, purely the physical reaction to touch.
Men shouldn’t be embarrassed if they accidentally have an erection while at the doctors office
Dennis Potter covered this problem in "The Singing Detective".
That's funny: what do you want your therapist to do if you get an erection. Umm, most guys aren't going to answer that question honestly. I've had erections in front of doctors before. I assume they've seen it all so it doesn't bother me, if it bothers them they need a different tactic to doing those exams or a different field.
Ejaculation!... never thought it could get to that point.

Let's get things straight here.
Thank you for sharing this. It nothing to worry about. It is very normal. And it may be good.
