When I in clinicals for my NP, I needed to complete a pelvic exam on a patient. She happended to be a lesbian (first clinical pap BTW) and just prior to starting, she noted I was nervous and tells me "... don't be nervous, a guy has not been down there for 2 decades. There is no way your going to disappoint!" I just about died right then and there.

I once overheard someone having a catheter inserted, it was a male nurse, he asked if its okay if the student nurse can stay to learn, who is also a male nurse, then one of them jokes, saying, I'm going to take the p155. One of the nurses was very camp, I heard him screaming as the catheter is inserted. I'd much prefer a female nurse if that was me. And thought that joke was a bit inappropriate.

Doctors in my country are so professional ❤. In general even patients don't personalise internal body parts. So we'll say "the kidneys" instead of "my kidneys"or "your kidneys".

I am a 70 YOA male. I have a female urologist. At our first visit she told me: My male patients like me because I have small hands. She is a wee person. After the first exam I was leaving and she caught up to me and took me by the arm. She hands me an appointment card and says: We have an another hot date next year. I was assigned to her on the luck of the draw. I like her and would not change.

It would be better for my mental health if she said, your penis looks really good !

Just an observation: in 2:40, if a patient is uncomfortable, it's important to let him know that he can stop the examination whenever he wants. That information may be important for us, but the patient always has sovereignty over his body.

This is a God Damn joke. Female Doctors and nurses....... should not ever be allowed into male genital exams. There is a serious set of DOUBLE STANDARDS for men in medical exams. To make a joke of this is a serious mistake. A lot OF MEN would sooner DIE, than be embarressed in an exam with female in the exam, and don't you ever forget that. Your fathers, brothers, and husbands endure this bullshit. If you want them to stay alive, and be in your lives... then be a part of their lives. Fight to AVOID them being embarressed being seen by females in their exams. THEY DESERVE BETTER.

I once had a cluster of insect bites on my back and had a mild allergic reaction to them. The young doctor said "It looks like something I saw on Star Trek."

I was the patient getting my annual exam with a new doctor, because mine had retired. He was down there doing his work and we were chatting a little, he asked about my kids and I said one of my daughters has red hair like I do. He said, I kid you not, "SO, YOU'RE A NATURAL REDHEAD??"
