You can!! If it's important to you you can budget in order to purchase non toxic products. The products featured in the video are very inexpensive and you can do a lot of DIY using natural ingredients to save cost. Find good websites that give great savings or get a good subscription service (this is what I do) so you can gradually incorporate non toxic products. I use petitvour.com for my non toxic skincare and makeup products and it's only $18 a month and the products are amazing. And I use mightynest.com or grove.co for non toxic cleaning or household needs!

Willa Morton for a long time we were convinced we needed chemicals to eliminate germs and that nothing else would be as efficient so we took those chemicals and ignored that fact it can harm our immune system and is linked to cancer because we weren’t as aware back then and now it’s such a norm for so many cultures. But once you know better, you do better right? 😉

My fav diy cleaner is dish soap + white vinegar and warm water in a spray bottle. I use it to mop the floors, kitchen countertops, bathroom tiles and mirrors( no streaks). I have eczema/dust allergies/ and asthma and this doesn't trigger my allergies at all. :) no nasty chemical smell and keeps everything clean. I also use it to clean my boots in the winter 😅
LoveoftheLittleThings 1:2 ratio for soap and vinegar. I get the spray bottle from the dollar store, and add about 2 tbsp soap+ 4 tbsp vinegar. And then fill the rest off the bottle with warm water. Any brand dish soap I use Palmolive the passion fruit one. And whatever white vinegar is on sale.
Yes it's so important to make sure we aren't only eating natural foods and using natural make-up but that our LIVES are natural!! I will definitely check this website out. And it goes without saying...your baby bump is adorable 😍

Beautiful as always, Alba. I wanted to tell you that I recently started using an organic all purpose cleaner. It can be use in every surface, including mirrors. Here are the ingredients for the all purpose cleaner : (Distilled Water), Saponified Organic Oils of Coconut, Olive & Jojoba, Organic Aloe Vera, Organic vegetable gum/glycerin extract (coconut), Organic Essential Oils of Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia)& Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia), Rosemary Extract. It makes everything so shinny! I don't ever wan to stop cleaning, its very relaxing !

My favorite all purpose cleaner is 1.5 c water, .5 c rubbing alcohol, 1 tsp dish soap and whatever essentials oils you like (# of drops varies on brand/strength and your preference). I used to use vinegar but I feel like the alcohol cleans better.. and this cleaner, even with soap and oils, leaves my mirrors and glass streak free!
Alba I loved this video! It was so relaxing! I’m glad that u truly do your research and didn’t feature any Meyers products or other “organic” labeled products like I see in other cleaning videos. I use some of the same cleaning products and also if you let lemons sit in a jar of vinegar for a week the disinfectant spray has a lemon spell and still works just as good! We changed our lifestyle and conduct tons of research on sinus and allergy issues after our boys kept becoming ill and we realized that it was the toxins in things that we use in our daily life! Thanks and can’t wait until u reach 1million subs!

you've inspired and motivated me to really clean my apartment this weekend. I admire how you use non toxic products. One tip I have for laundry is to add a few drops of tea tree oil to the wash cycle instead of bleach. It really disinfects towels and face cloths and is better for the environment than bleach.
Alba, you are so amazing and beautiful. The way you share your healthy way of living is an inspiration to the world and I wish everyone knew of you. I am personally passionate about green cleaning as well. So much so that I have spent the past 4 years researching it and testing it and wrote the book Easy Green Cleaning, which is a compilation of what I learned. I did it because I feel green cleaning is the easiest way for people to make positive changes in their life. As much as I love Grove collaborative and them sponsoring cleaner options (which I think that is great when people can afford it) I just don’t want to see green cleaning become a class issue like so many other healthy living options already are when it is so affordable and easy for people to make their own products. I am hoping to provide some healthy tips for your viewers to help them in case they can’t afford the pricier cleaning products that still are not as safe as making your own. TIPS: Pretty much everything can be cleaned with a mix of water and vinegar, vodka/or rubbing alcohol and water and/or hydrogen peroxide. No need for all types of separate cleaners they will clean glass as well. Vinegar, however, is not safe for all surfaces and should never be used on granite, quartz, or other stone. I have a recipe for a Rosemary Lavender all-purpose cleaner on TheRevolutionBlog .com that is vinegar-free and is great for all surfaces including glass and granite. For more grime you can use a mix of baking soda mixed with castile soap or eco-friendly dish soap for a homemade soft scrub. Reusable cloths are a must and save money, but buy them in bulk and as inexpensively as possible or make your own with cut up old towels and tee-shirts. Be careful of cellulose sponge material as it is a breeding ground for bacteria. I am glad you mentioned different colors to avoid cross contamination and using paper towels still on toilets, I mentioned that tip in my book as well. Borax is a controversial ingredient so it is not one I personally recommend but laundry can very easily and inexpensively be done with a few reusable soap nuts, baking soda (buy the cheapest biggest bag you can find for cleaning you will use it a lot) and some vinegar as a fabric softener. Hydrogen peroxide can replace chlorine bleach and other more expensive bleach alternatives. Another point I wanted to make on your video is to put your floor cleaner in a spray bottle and spray it on the floor instead of dumping it. This will avoid too much moisture on your floor which can cause warping and/or seep through to the underlayment. I hope these tips help people who are interested in green cleaning and are more on a budget. Happy cleaning!!
Thank you sis finally somebody who uses there common sense. I have watched a lot of cleaning videos, and I have seen people use one cloth to clean the entire bathroom (toilet included), and I just could never understand how someone could use a reusable cloth for the toilet. when that same cloth is put into your washing your machine your transporting fecal and urine residual germs into the machine and on your clothes. So thank you, thank you, thank you, for showing the masses how to not cross contaminate germs.
Hi Alba, try baking soda for the class stove top, it works wonders. I apply it on the stove then add a little bit of water and scrub with paper towels or any towels of choice.

great video! Just a quick note, vinegar doesn't disinfect everything. There are some types of bacteria that it doesn't kill (for example some bacteria found in bathrooms) and, just like most disinfectants, it needs a few minutes to sit on a surface to actually disinfect. When used properly, it disinfects around 80% (as opposed to 99.99% in most commercial disinfectants), which isn't bad at all, unless you need to get rid of a type of bacteria it doesn't kill. Personally, I prefer using 70% rubbing alcohol as a disinfectant. Feel free to research this it's pretty interesting! Also, just in case the steel wool is scratching your stovetop, baking soda and dish soap with a non scratching sponge works great!

I found a dust pan with a long handle so I don't have to bend down. You may want to invest in one of those so you don't have to bend with your tummy:) I got it from either dollar general, family dollar or walmart.

It's incredible how americans (no idea if the majority or not) use paper towels to clean surfaces. In Italy and i'm pretty sure in the rest of europe as well, people use microfiber clothes/sponges which are not only washable and reusable but also ecologic. So yeah I really hope your videos will make a difference!
kalira I agree. I was born in Dominican Republic and have always seen my mom and grandmother using cloths to clean. Paper towel was more for eating and for children.
