What If You Killed Doctor Li Instead of Recruiting Her to the Brotherhood?

- Have you ever thought about what would happen if you killed Doctor Li instead of recruiting her to the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 4? I decided to find out. I took the mission from Elder Maxson to find Doctor Li and headed to the Institute. Once there, I went straight to her. After killing her, I escaped from the Institute and returned to Elder Maxson to report my actions.
Elder maxson has to be bipolar.
FNV trauma lmao
That’s actually a really sad disease, don’t say it so flippantly

Elder maxson reaction: oh no anyway the writers told us we need a doctor for liberty prime so go find the diamond city scientist
So what if we also kill diamond city scientists after killing madison li?
*Getting kicked out of Institute with railroad*
“Damn, that sucks, guess we can’t do anything no mo”
*getting kicked out of institute with BOS*
“Damn, that sucks, but if you go to this scientist lady in Diamond City we can fix it. Why didn’t I ask you to go to her first? Umm…”
Love you Elder Maxson
This is why i hate fallout 4. You literally cant be evil. Everyone loves you and youre some fucking god of good judgement no matter what you do. Your choices mean nothing and its the exact opposite of what made fallout such an amazing series.
Sure you can. Have terrible speech/persuasion skills and plenty of people hate you.
Player: Makes choices that their companions will hate you for.
Companion: I hated that, I will now tear you a new one.
Player: Hacks terminals, picks locks, enters power armor, upgrades weapons/armor, anything that doesn't help anyone.
Companion: We're all good now.
I'd argue that the brotherhood in f4 is evil
And the only hope for being evil in Nuka world DLC as a Raider King/Queen was thwarted because how unfinished that dlc was.
I feel like Bethesda really wants you to side with the Brotherhood, because it's almost impossible to get kicked out of the faction. You have to actively betray them. Meanwhile you have to tread carefully to keep from becoming enemies with the Institute and Railroad.
How is she not a traitor but Danse is, thats wild.
BOS actions don’t make sense is what I’ve learned they’re hypocritical
Danse it's not a traitor, Danse is just not alive anymore
BOS racism.
@@AnakinvoorheesBrotherhood of White Hoods
Lee is a traitor but they need her
Danse is dead replaced by a machine that the institute created to be spy on tbe brotherhood
For all we know danse could have been giving the institute regular reports on the brotherhoods activitys without him even knowing
In typical Bethesda fashion, you just get a lecture for doing the bad thing. You win either way though
Plus you won his respect! That's a win!
Copy paste Redditor “Bethesda bad” if you hate them so much why play their games? Fallout would be dead without them
@@doomslayer8025are u dumb or something ? he's saying typical bethesda fashion but not saying that they're bad

Anyways, you wanna become a paladin?
Why did the institute send word to the BoS that you, specifically, killed her too. Wth.
Bethesda writing
Had an insider that knew where Dr Li is, but not the actual location of the Institute.
They need to let obsidian make new Vegas 2

This is actually better choice because professor clara (dr li replacement) is actually enjoying her job in BoS
So she does get replaced? And liberty prime gets built?

"I'm deeply disappointed with you, Knight, and you've earned my respect." Uh... bipolar much?
Hes disappointed that you disobeyed orders but Can respect that you Stuck to your guns on your actions
Bro have you ever thought about never meet preston garvey and go to vault 81 to tell a story?
What did you do to the Vault-Tec guy?!
BOS will always be one of my favorite factions underneath the Minutemen, however, they are very hypocritical and just flat out confusing to understand their true motive on one hand they hate technology, but at the same time they use the same technology.
They use and operate/repair and study Pre-War Tech. All that is after war, unless it's used in peaceful ways like a generator or an autodoc, is destroyed and retro-engineered to know the weaknesses. They don't want to do like the Enclave, that still continue to study and advance because that's against their ideals, that tech is a thing to keep under control. The institute was evil, on all fronts, their ultimate plan was replace all life with synths even animals. Transforming people in Supermutants, so supersoldiers living weapons...The BoS uses what the pre War army used, maintaining and even improve tech but never to push a certain treshold, like using FEV or heavily creating new instruments of death. They have their holy mission of confiscate and protect humanity from itself even if Arthur is too expansionist in F4...his ultimate goal is a mystery for now.
How does bro even know that she died
"Me, why?" Pew pew pew
Im honestly want to know how he know i killed her😮
Is it so much to ask for realistic, appropriate, permanent consequences?
no ones gonna mention the mysterious stranger fit?
Maxsons a hypocrite and a synth
U legit cannot do shit to piss off maxon. He always likes you
Except if you shoot him lol.
"Soldier, I gave you clear orders"
"I stand by my actions"
"Based."
Here’s what I do, I don’t bring her to the brotherhood, instead I keep her in the institute, so she isn’t murdered when I assault the brotherhood during my Enclave Playthrough.
I’m curious, with doctor li dead, does liberty prime still get built since Doctor Li is the brains behind it?
Wow it's like he can't stop glazing your meat. "I know you just killed a top scientist as an entry level worker, but atleast you didn't apologize good job solider"
I'm here for the background music😂 what's that song called???😂
So if you killed her BOS not going to build the R2 -D2? never actually tried that option.
So wait, who the hell builds liberty prime? From that point, you’re still allowed to finish the game with the railroad, but I thought once you took that quest you had to finish it with with the brotherhood.
I need your help guys, I need to choose to stay with the institute or no. What is better😭🙏 (Can I still do a brotherhood of steel quest or no after choosing an institute?)
Same thing happened if you kill Shaun while he is ranting to you when you first meet him
Maxson will still give you a frist warning if you kill an npc that is not a traitor
Maxson is one of the most poorly written characters ever
So she basically created Paldin Danse ?
So can u still end the game with the bos like that?
BOS are a bunch of hypocrites
why is there a gator claw in the institute
Ooooh. I found Dr Li in the Galleria my first time and I now realize why...
I know they do this just because this is a game and they don't want you to get immediately kicked out of the brotherhood, but man if they actually punished you by kicking you out that would be so much funnier
I killed father on the spot and forgot about doctor li
“We’re cool though right?”
Nice.
But how did he know if the institutt did not tell them?
i accidentally did this without noticing
Gow could they know?
Wait is that the same Dr. Li from fallout 3?
It is. Elder Maxson and MacCready also appear in Fallout 3, albeit as younger versions of themselves
How do I get that pistol???
Join the railroad and do a couple missions

I still can't believe that Elder Maxon was a bumbling kid from Fallout 3 at the Citadel I refuse to believe they are the same character since I think the kid had blue eyes and brown hair and Elder Maxon has hazel eyes and black hair
