    I find it kind of touching (in a mildly creepy way) that the Witch King almost seems to give a small condolence to Talion when he finally fell, and that even though Talion spent decades fighting against him and the other Wraiths the Witch King still welcomed him with open arms and called him "brother".
    Maybe deep down, beneath Sauron's mind control, the Witch King respected Talion for how long he held on.

      Look at it this way, Witch King showed more affection the Celebrimbor for unlike bright boy Witch boy was human, and therefore understands all the pain, torture, and lengths Talion has gone to cling to what little he had left.

      Yeah, I like the way the Witch-King treated Talion, and Talion also was sympathetic to the Nazgûl because of how they had suffered, and it’s funny that Wraiths that serve darkness held more respect towards the undead Ranger of Gondor than Celebrimbor, the so-called Bright Lord who would’ve proven worse than Sauron himself, and his former master, Morgoth

      They are all slaves to Sauron's will. Talion freed a tortured soul, and took the mantle for himself, with intent to hold their slaver for as long as possible.
      He respects him for sure. He knew, like him, Talion was once a good man. But it was inevitable. Talion would fall to the ring's will, to Sauron's grasp. And eventually, when Talion fell, he would accept him with open arms.

    • @MrKoraboras
      @MrKoraboras 8 місяців тому +4

      @@humanish1 There's lots of people assuming it's because Talion was good and it brings back some shade of humanity in the Witch-King, but in my mind, it's more about Talion's willpower. We see it, when he's bound to Celebrimbor in the first place, and he begins the guerilla warfare. We see it, when he dominates the orcs and essentially conquers Mordor. We see it when he goes against Sauron embodied. We see it, when he lays there dying after being betrayed by his closest ally. We see it each time he comes back from death. We see it all throughout the 70-year war he waged on a literally goddamn Maiar Dark Lord, while using Sauron's own corruptive power against him. For. Seventy. Years.
      Talion's willpower is on another level, and is what allowed him to accomplish awe-inspiring feats throughout the games. And I feel like a Black Numenorean - which IIRC Witch-King was implied to be - would respect him for both of those.

    I notice that Celebrimbor’s spirit is still alive since it was freed when Sauron lost his power/died. I’m curious how it’s going to play out if they decide to do another game. Who is the protagonist going to be also since Talion is gone? My mind goes to the people who were in the fellowship but we’ll see I guess.

    • @liquidchris4147
      @liquidchris4147 2 роки тому +6

      theres no point since it literally shows the moment when the ring was destroyed and when Talions spirit was finally freed.
      Unless there were to a be another game that would follow the fellowship itself, though that would be tricky considering most of the fighting was done by others and not Frodo and Sam who are the real protagonists id say.
      Would still be cool to see a re-telling of their story in a modern game format

      Your actually right in a sense. After beating the DLC for the elf the ending is different. It reveals that the ring maker escaped. Now she is wearing said ring and that he’s calling her. With talion gone the ring maker needs a host. She saw talion’s memory,felt his pain, seen what he’s seen. It make sense for her to track him down and destroy him. After all it was revealed by shelob that if talion didn’t free one of nine (can’t spell his name) then they would have conquered and dominated the dark lord. And that middle earth would be attacked under the ring makers banner. Talion said it himself “I will not trade one dark lord for another “. My guess is that either they make it to where she gets rid of the ring maker and then she can finally return home knowing that she has gotten revenge for talion even though she herself also betrayed him.

      The Witchking of Agmar is the oldest of the Nazgul, and the only one to be truly hollow. He has absolutely no memory of who he was, not even the slightest sensation or feeling of who he might’ve been.
      The Witchking of Angmar is over 4,200 years old by the time of the LOTR books/movies, which take place in the Third Age, year 3,018.
      He was born sometime before the year 2251 of the Second Age. After around 4,120 years of serving Sauron, the Witchking of Angmar completely forgot every last trace of who he was.

    Sadly this is the true ending, cuz in the end, Witch King was a good guy, the one and only that caused conflict and war, was the demonic race of Elfs, the one and only, in the end orcs, etc wasn't the bad people, the bigger treat was the elfs.
