@RBT THUNDER I live in Montana. I ordered it from a different city in Montana that is about 3 hours away from me. I was supposed to get it today but delivery got delayed because of the weather. Now it's saying either Sunday or Monday. I am also paying MSRP. It took 9 weeks for it to come in.
@RBT THUNDER Thank you. Also check to see if your dealership has any allocations for one. Normally they know a few months out on what they are getting from Toyota. If they have the TRD pro you can put a deposit on that allocation and make it yours.
Wish they'd bring the ventilated seat option from Limited to Pro. I live over in SC and the ventilated is more valuable than the heated. And the Limited is more of a glorified soccer mom vehicle. The engine fix would to offer 2 types, but that Toyota doesn't seem to want to go that way. Personally I'd want 3 with a V8 added...
It's grossly overpriced for what it is at 53-54k MSRP. It's a dinosaur that gets less mpg than a fullsize pickup and the trans is terrible at picking gears. There's no tech inside- not even a heated steering wheel. This is one of the oldest vehicles on the market. I think it looks great, but it's absolutely overpriced and a dinosaur from the drivetrain to the interior.
Not every dealership is doing that to steal from people. Many other dealerships that sell it at MSRP. You just have to call around the country. Pay and go pick it up.
@@myytchannel6632 I contacted over 40 dealerships nationwide- was willing to ship. Not a single one was willing to sell the TRD PRO at MSRP. The best I got was 4k over MSRP and most were 6-10k over. I bought a 2022 GX460, which is pretty much better in every measurable way, and easily obtained at MSRP (less than the TRD Pro 4runner would have cost right now). Anyone being asked to pay over price on that TRD pro should laugh in the rep's face and go buy a GX for 60k instead- get something for your money rather than throw it to the wind.
Hopefully Toyota will update the 4Runner nxt yr to a whole new revision/body style. This current gen is super long in the tooth, esp w it's ancient 5sp auto and 4.0L V6 pairing. I have a feeling Toyota will put the new engine from the brand new Tundra and Lexus LX in the next gen 4Runner
I agree too 100%. But I am always surprised how people have to buy the TRD Offroad Premium amd still spend like $5,000 to $10,000 more on the car. Why? So, Toyota did not build it good enough?
@@tuckerhiggins4336 $10k in gas per year at that rate. 15mpg in this day and age is unforgivable. $5-$6 a gallon coming this summer - already $5 here in Commie-Fornia.
I think the 4Runner is made that way (slow to accelerate). I bought a Pedal Commander and it really changed the driving experience for sure. Give it a try!
This color makes me nauseous. Look how they massacred my boy. This color is a complete ridiculous jump from the theme theyve been going with. They have always been gorgeous either flat paint jobs or bold colors. This horrible metallic green belongs in a 9 year old girls sketch book, or on a funky kia soul. I say all this owning a 4runner and loving Toyota more than any other car brand, they royally screwed up this color. The numbers will show, it will be the lowest selling color out of all the colors. Should have gone with maybe a taxi yellow, gold, a brown, a bronze, am oxblood, a matte black?? anything but this color. Woof
The seats here are Toyota’s “SofTex” (vinyl), not leather. A plus is that they are easy to clean. The Limited trim gets leather.
4runners the only vehicle still built to run half a million miles
I get my lime rush Saturday
Sweet! Congrats :)

Did you get your lime? Did you make a video? Share link so we can see.
Thanks for checking out the video. Let me know your thoughts on the TRD Pro 4Runner!
Got my Lime Rush! Already adding parts
how are liking the color

I would like to own a trd pro but 10-15 grand dealer’s markup is straight up robbery!
Too true
Sucks... idk why manufacturers allow dealers to do these things

we neeeed this redesignnn. I cannot wait to get one once that happens.
Me too! What trim are you getting?
@@myytchannel6632 I meaaaan I hope they give as many trim options as they have in the tundra. I would do something like an SR5 sport.
@@NicoleByron I will get the TRD Offroad Premium, since I like to go offroad. You will enjoy your Sports for sure.
@@myytchannel6632 that will be so fun! I want the look of the pro.. but I don't reallllly need the off road parts.. lol
Have you seen the renderings of the next 4Runner? Really looking forward to that if they are true!
Just saw a few days ago. Might make a video on the 2nd channel.. 👍
Turbo’d engine tho 🤮🤮🤮
@@jordanseitzinger3167 It could work... or it could keep an NA engine... we'll have to see
It will never be anything close to the renderings.
So I should keep my 2020 Rav4 TRD Off Road? I get great gas mileage and the camera is great. My hatch is remote and push button.
Yeah why not. Especially the way the market is now. The RAV4 Off Road is a great little vehicle.
It ticks me off that in Canada the sliding rear cargo area is not even an option on a trd pro
Oh wow. Yeah that makes no sense.

New 4Runner comes out before the end of 2022. Then dealerships or people start owning it in 2023.
Buy the TRD Off-road premium and build a better rig then the PRO while still saving money.
💯

That's a great option if you know what you're doing. You're being quite presumptuous and out of touch. Don't like it? Don't buy it.
Dang, it's tempting.
But, I have to wait for the next gen, now the new Tundra is out.
That 4Runner gas milage is too high for me.
Yeah, will be interesting to see if the update the platform soon
Enjoy the 4cyl turbo lol. I'm getting a 4runner this month and drive 50k-60k a year

The next gen 4Runner may come with a Hybrid engine and mpg may improve to around 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
@@myytchannel6632 Low-Mid 20's would be nice with $5/gallon gas.
Please toyota, give me the 4runner 2022 as a present!!!! :)
Which trim do you want?
Can interior leather be customized at dealership? something more cushy and durable to soften the bumpy business of trd pro shocks
I doubt the dealership would but there are aftermarket options like Katzkin Leather
I guess the trd pro doesn’t show tire pressure for spare tire?
Which running boards are those?
the small ones? lol from the factory at least
How do I turn off eco mode tried driving it and was going very slow on highway
I think the 4Runner is made that way (slow to accelerate). I bought a Pedal Commander and it really changed the driving experience for sure. Give it a try!
It's only a light. It doesn't affect the engine's performance. It's only there to guide you if you care.
Theres nothing like voodoo blue or stellar blue pearl
👍

Only you're wrong; these are selling across the country like hotcakes and way over msrp.
And the jeep 2.0 turbo engine is absolute garbage. Mpg’s might suck, but those engines are damn newr bullet proof.
Lol yeah, trade offs
The seats aren't leather.
Then what they? Well, it is some kind of leatherette.
Add ONS? Why didn't they add a CD player? Why didn't they subtract the roof rack? That puke green looks more lame than lime!
Overpriced
Says the guy that can't afford it or chooses not to pay, so why comment?
But the exterior color is for woman
blah... subjective
Lie! It is a good color too for a guy.
Just got one today, chief. I'm a dude. To each their own.
You're just mad because you can't afford one.
