My goodness. With less than one month to go before BT17, it's time to review over these cards and prepare you for the different archetypes you'll be experiencing. My methodology this time is breaking down the set by movies, so if you have a particularly favorite movie, don't worry it's on its way!
Digimon Frontier returns with some new support cards for red and blue hybrid! And I'm honestly excited for this one because allegedly Ancientgarurumon is the meta contender right now in Japan! Let's explore these cards together!

The frontier cards are basically early BT18 cards. The villian cards are packfiller; and Trailmon probobly should have been covered with Locomon since it's clearly being used as Locomon lv4.
@@raikaria3090 digi panda did say that he basing these video off the movies not the lines their in so of course he would be using locomon in this video since it based off the fronteir movie
I dropped Trailmon mainly because we see it all the time in Frontier. But I do get it.

8:41 Yeah granting Machinedra or Chaosdra Collision is pretty good spot removal, barring there aren’t and bigger bodies on board. But it becomes pretty menacing when you get to run something over when paired with ST Rapid and/or BT MetalTyranno as inherts.
Ding ding ding! That's the goal here. Will it be amazingly viable? I don't necessarily think so as I've rotated back to the hard play variant for the time being. But digivolving up? I'm intrigued to try it. I do think Cyberdramon ACE is still needed for the deck to function though.
@@DIGI-PANDA Definitely, since it’s an ACE that helps Machinedra cheat out Analog and can de-digivolve if you have a tamer and grants the stack a de-digivolve when attack inherit

You can use The Ancient Protectors option with the digixros to play the lvl 6s for effectively 4 memory!
Yep! I didn't comment on this but yes the option cards for all the megas seems very helpful.

it feels like the spirit of fire got a little more love than the spirit of light but we'll see when it comes out. Also they could've added flavor text to burninggreymon and kendogururumon sayinf "Rule: This digimon doesn't count as a Greymon/Garurumon"

These are also tease for bt18 unified spirit decks it got to point they expect u to use the bt17 as these flame hybrids and light hybrid arnt in bt18
I do think they should've incorporated that text as a lot of newer players don't necessarily know that distinction which is why I mentioned it here. A local wanted to use BT5 Agumon with BT7 Burninggreymon and I had to correct that.
First off, the Agunimon and Lobomon lines are fantastic. That Koji is going to be especially great in fish hybrid come November with bt18 Lanamon.
Trailmon is fun. I love the idea of a prospective train deck.
Darcmon… I can see the hesitation. It’s a shame because I do like this line. Problem is that none of the previous Darcmon or hippogryphomon support it… just bt10 Darcmon for having an inheritable.
I went hog wild with people on one of the TCG discords to try and make it good with a yellow base that used bt16 Patamon. After all, Patamon can evolve any Digimon into a level 4 Angel for a reduced cost. Maybe, someday, we can return to this.
One day ha ha, maybe it'll be better. I'm not holding my breath though.

The movie wasn’t great which is a shame since I do like a messy two-timing instigator for the drama.

I wish our old Darcmon was better.
I am actually interested in making the deck worh villians there interesting and i can see ways to make it very viable using other cards
I feel out of all the villain decks we had, Apocalymon was the best pre-restriction. But at the present, I feel like Belphemon is the leading contender.
@@DIGI-PANDA yeh belphmon is good but my motto is every deck is viable and I have made decks people would consider trash very viable I dont care if something is seen as meta or not I can make it work meta wise if I want to
It’s kinda weird that the level 4s don’t evolve from the alternate color, like Agunimon can only evo from red but not purple not a big deal just odd to me and Lobomon only yellow I guess so that you keep with the archetype
Also off topic of the card game I’m surprised they never made another Frontier movie where they get Susannomon(again) don’t know who the antagonist would be probably Ogudomon would be cool
