Power-metal is one of the best gate-way genres of metal. It is more up-beat and has mostly clean vocals, which has more appeal to a non-metal-head audience.

Two guitarist that do guitar solo duel is Herman Li and Sam Totman. And they both wrote guitar parts for Babymetal song Road of Resistance. Listen to it, you'll notice similarities in style.

This song got pretty popular because of guitar hero and is said to be nearly impossible to play on guitar live. They collaborated with Babymetal for Road of Resistance. Some people were joking that Su, Yui and Moa most likely had deeper voices than the Dragonforce vocalist. My friends are always cursing when they try to sing along

It's actually pretty easy on Expert. The song has been perfected BLINDFOLDED on Expert by randyladyman on UA-cam. He's also perfected the song on 150% speed.

hey Giddy, please, could you react to some of the works of André Matos? He was a brazilian musician, he was a singer, composer, maestro and pianist. He unfortunately passed away 15 days ago and it was a shock for all of his fans world-wide and even people that just knew his bands by name... He played on bands such as Viper(1985-1991), the most famous one Angra(1991-2000), Shaman(2000-2006), then his solo career, besides another projects like Virgo, Symfonia and a project with the guys from an american prog metal band called Sieges Even. He was just 47 years old... He really loved his country and was proud to show the world what we're capable of musically, even with all the music degradation across the globe, he was persistent, yet with his death the media didn't care at all, at max a channel made a homage of 3 minutes, but nothing more than that... The politicians even less, it's pretty sad and if you could react to one or some of his work would be awesome and it would mean the world for his fans such as myself. He means a lot to me, and i´m not even Brazillian. He is one of the most important musicians, EVER. You should react to something of album Holy Land (one of the best albuns of all times), but you should react to the studio version maybe, because live versions often have bad sound quality.

Power Metal is way more diverse than most people think. The problem is most people only know DragonForce and think DrangonForce=Power Metal. It´s a little like when a non-Metal person thinks he/she knows how Metal is, just because he/she knows a few Metallica songs.
What Stevie T has done (and really well done, don´t get me wrong) was a caricature of DrangonForce.
But if you really want to know Power Metal, you have to discover many other Power Metal bands, many of those way better than DrangonForce.
