As a Muslimah looking for a sense of identity, I am reminded that the most honorable job I can do on earth is to worship Allah. How comforting! 🥰 Nowadays it seems like the world is taking us in the opposite direction 🤷🏽♀️. We get to be boss women, doctors, lawyers, engineers, but few compete to become worshippers. Wow. Asalamualaykum i really appreciate this video. As a ( proud) single mother who's life and parenthood have meandered away from what i thought was good for me and/or my children ( being a single mother is the first one) but reminders and different perspectives like this really do boost moral when at times it may be low. Even Maryam's AS story itself is also a powerful reminder that even when the chips are down, you feel alone and the unexpected happens, wonderous and miraculous things may result and in that we must have tawakkul that Allah really does know best and everything is going to be ok. Reminder to myself 1st.
This resonates with so many other things that we make dua for. This was a most needed reminder- to have good expectations of Allah. JazakAllah khairan

The part where you shared your points after discussing with Sarah Sultan especially about Special Needs children made me really think in a very different perspective. Never looked at Hazrat Mariam story from this point of view
According to al-Tabari, Mary's mother was named Hannah (Arabic: هنا), and Imran (Arabic: عمران), her husband, died before the child was born. Expecting the child to be male, Hannah vowed to dedicate him to isolation and service in the Temple. (Not Masjid al-Aqsa) However, Hannah bore a daughter instead, and named her Maryam.

Aslaam alaykum beautiful video, i have a question/confusion. Maryam swt was born to hopefully serve masjid al aqsa. But was it always a mosque? What was it before islam, before our last prophet muhammad swt came
Asc brother, you seem to have missed ap part of the ayah where allah says and the male is not like the female.
So al-Aqsa was built 705 after Isa's death. There was first built the Tabernacle, then the first temple, followed by the second temple which was around the time of Isa. I guess they mean that it was the temple on the temple mount, where al-Aqsa stands today. Is that viable? We know of course that Islam was the true faith from Adam through to eternity, but I think it gives an erroneous picture. Maybe so that we can relate better to Maryam better. Just got me wondering....
From an authentic narration we learn that Masjid al Aqsa was built 40 yrs after Masjid ul Haraam. A few times it has been rebuilt by different prophets but the original foundation dates back much before Isa AS.
@@nailahd7877 yes but the main point being it was a tempel that Maryam lived in and worshipped Allah. I don't know why Masjid al-Aqsa has to be brought into it considering it wasn't even built at that point in time. It doesn't make sense. As Muslims we need to speak truth, right?
So her Lord accepted her graciously and blessed her with a pleasant upbringing-entrusting her to the care of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah visited her 'in the sanctuary', he found her supplied with provisions. He exclaimed, “O Mary! Where did this come from?” She replied, “It is from Allah. Surely Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit.”

So she was clearly in the Temple.

I had heard a prophecy was made by prophet imran about a Maseeha that is why Hannah mother of maryam was expecting a boy. please clear this doubt.
😂😂😂😂 ( and I say this with deep respect for spiritual insights being expressed) In Mary's time there was the second Jewish Temple rebuilt identical to the 1st Jewish Temple the Jewish God instrusted King Solomon to build not a mosque , mosque came after Islam that is 600 AD (will all due respect)
Amran is not her father.... She is a descendant of Imran (AAL IMRAN).. the Father of Moses and Aaron Pbut. Read carefully Qur'an 3:33! In the Qur'an, she is ALSO called the Sister of Aaron*P.... She is of the Aal Imran or the Family of Imran.. A Levite ... Not a Jew.
